Glad you signed up! ^^ Have you found any RPs that interests you? *nods* I think you got it. The blurbs are the equivalent of OOCs on RPG. However, unlike RPG, we don’t post our CS in the blurb thread. I believe the sections like the Interlinked Web and the Fandom Role-Plays have a thread (under each category) where you can post your CS.

The only place that doesn’t have a CS is the Hidden Dimension. That’s because the characters we use there are our Muses… =P. You can find out more about muses by referring to this link: wtrp.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=musesfortheuninitiated&action=display&thread=49

Thanks for filling in some of the questions I still couldn't figure out answers to. I don't know, I feel a bit like I'm intruding on this place because everyone's got characters really involved and what not. And there's such a particular way of doing things to construct an RP.

I think if I start anywhere, I will make a house.

I should have done this in the beginning instead of trying to figure it out on my own. LoLz! Hello, everyone. I commonly go by Unlucky, TUJ, or Jirachi. Sense I'm more of a FanFiction junkie and never played on a Proboard rp, I have pritty much no idea what I'm doing. Srry, I may be a newbie to the Proboards, but I'm no newbie to RPing. As soon as I figure out what on Earth (or someother strange planet) I'm doing, I'll start RPing with you guys, ;D

As I'm sure you can see, I'm Comma, global mod of the forums--temporarily an admin since our actual admin has been busy-ish. If you have any questions about the site, or proboards in general, feel to PM me them and I'll answer them to the best of my abilities. Or if you have an aversion to PMing mods like I have, you can just post them somewhere in the Suggestions and Questions subboard =P Your choice.

But yeah, anything you need help with, don't be afraid to ask. We've all been proboards newbs at some point in time.

My user name on FF.N and TMB was It's Joyce and Walky, but since I decided to start my own webcomic, I've changed it to Mirenheart. I hope to have fun here, when I can.

I'm Biscotti, Bis for short. I'm really looking forward to getting to know everyone, and hopefully making some new friends! :]

As a preliminary warning, let me say: I have never actually roleplayed before. (yikes.) But, I've read quite a few roleplays and have the basic gist of it... more or less. Dawn found out I was interested and told me here was the best place to start. So, here I am! (I would also like to apologize in advance for any and all mistakes I may make; anybody have some good starting advice for me?)

Umm... try not to bunny (take control of other characters that aren't yours) If you're in a RP-fight, you write your character in the same way you would in a fic BUT you don't make the attacks on the other character definite. Like...

'Erin reached out with her dagger to try and disable Gus.'

This way enables your opponent to write more freely. So 'Gus' can either receive the blow OR have a narrow escape.

'Erin reached out and punched Gus in the face.'

That way leaves no other option for the other character but to BE punched, and may cause some annoyed feelings for Gus's writer.

I've heard it called bunnying and god-modding, either way, means the same thing; controlling other people's characters. If you do end up doing it by accident at any point--most everyone is guilty of that--then it's no huge deal at all. It's just people who do it constantly who get difficult to RP with.

Anywho, welcome to WTRP! -yay- Aside from that... not really much advice from me. We're all helpful here and lenient enough to bend our own rules if its for a good reason. Nothing's really set in stone, it's all just about having fun. ^_^

If you do end up with any specific questions or suggestions or complaints about anything, you can either PM them to the mod of the boards they pertain to, or to me if it's not any particular board, or just post them in this area.

Sorry for rambling. I'm new as an admin so... yeah, I'm kind still learning how to do it without talking people's ears off. ^_^'
