Well you didn't necessarily have to use the format I did. The usual 'Name, age, etc' profile would have worked

I keep forgetting who I agreed to bring...Well, here goes. First off we have Tommy, who is a pain in the arse guitarist/bassist. He's technically human but got turned into a vampire by a rather unpleasant visitor from another world. Zach, his boyfriend at the time, gave blood to prevent him dying. This created a very complicated bond between them that- look, just don't touch Zach, okay? It's much simpler that way. Um, swears a lot, is scowly and grumpy and totally gorgeous deeply sarcastic. Pretty hard to actually offend though. But like I said, do not, under any circumstances, try and take Zach away from him. Or hurt Zach. Or even look at him funny. Yeah... pic! Who else...ummm...oh, Meda! Andromeda Black, yes, that one. Too many Harry Potter muses, bah. But she's not the lovely growed up version. She's the twenty-four year old still hiding her muggleborn boyfriend from her family. She's also from a world where her daughter was born much later but that's currently irrelevant. She's a witch, and a very good one at that. Trained as a healer. Member of the Order of the Phoenix in the ongoing war against Voldemort. She's usually pretty calm. Can summon up a really good dark curse if she needs to. Also pretty hard to offend and tends to pull an aloof, better than thou act when she is offended. All in all, she's pretty cool... pic! I...was going to bring Fiona as well but I think I'll leave her out for now. She's...unstable. And two muses is enough of a headache for me. For now.

*has sort of been stalking thread for past couple days*
Anyone mind if I join? ^^' Haven't RP'd in a while, so hopefully I won't totally fail everything to death. I'll wait to post what character(s) I'll be using until I have semi-approval. *doesn't want to butt in too badly*

That was wholly approving, in case you couldn't guess from the manic over-use of exclamation points.

COMMA, JOIN!!! X3 Also, a note to everyone. I'm going to Shanghai on the 12th. The trip from Los Angeles to Shanghai is around 12 hours and I'll be staying in China with my family for 2 weeks. I'll be coming back to America on the 25th. Oh my... I'm a bit excited for this RP and it got me thinking because of the amount of people interested. Silicon City is a very expansive place and I'm imagining that all of our muses will meet up at the city gate after they get the summons from Logos. In an attempt to alleviate space stress on the RP, I think we should have the RP environment as open. What this means is that in the Silicon City section, there will be many threads and each of them will be an area of Silicon City. What will be different is that a muse/character doesn't have to stay in a single thread for the entire RP, instead you can have your characters move about in the City by simply putting up a post saying that your character has traversed from one area to another and you simply move to the thread that has the name of the area your muse went to and continue the RP from there. I hope I'm not confusing anyone. It was an idea I had for the Temecula RP, which is still under development. >_< Also... my character!!! I'm going to use Skipbeat for this RP because of his technological nature and I have plans for him. >3 It's a bit difficult to describe his appearance given that he's not an organic humanoid. XD Well... he, to put it simply, is a robot. Specifically a Cybertronian. Here are some drawings from other people to use as a reference. Sorry. >: As you can see, he has a silver frame/body with neon green linings. The black exposed parts of his body are where his circuitry and cables lie so his silver metal plating act like an armor/clothing of sorts. His helm/head sports a pair of green horn-like appendages. They, along with the headphones he wears over his audios/ears and his audios themselves are very sensitive. Reason for this sensitivity is that Skipbeat's hearing is exceptional. His optics/eyes are red, signifying that he is a Decepticon. One of the warring factions from his world. He also has their emblem printed on his chassis/chest. Skipbeat is cautious, paranoid and nervous and he has a habit of stuttering when speaking. Thankfully, with the help of coming to the Realm and meeting many friends, he has learned to trust others more and break away from his shell.

Right, suppose I'd better also put a few profiles then...
So, Marienna, well, she's a twenty-something witch, still learning. Yes, she is a little old to be learning. She's slow at it, and touchy about this if someone else brings it up, but laughs it off if she does. Her skin is very, very pale, and her eyes are bright, piercing blue. Her hair is brown, with a streak of white near the front. It's shoulder length and hangs freely, framing her face. She wears a patched dark blue, shapeless robe, and if it's cold a deep, deep brown patched and frayed cloak. She has a navy typical witch's hat too, patched and battered, so the point hangs down to her ear. Her voice has a carefully hidden upper middle class accent.
She's either childish or very serious, and gets angry rarely... but if she does... watch out... Her magic is a combination of channeling power and using runes and symbols to bind demons to her will, but her power is unstable. She has Awakenings, where suddenly a whole load more power is unlocked, and her body's unable to deal with it, in which state she is volatile and not good to be around. The Professor can help to keep her in check - he makes her feel more confident within herself so she can deal with whatever's going on. She's advanced faster dating him than ever before.
She's forgetful but proud, and really lovely, honest!
The Professor, or Thomas (not Tom, please, anything but) is 34, extremely intelligent, a Professor of Psychic Studies. This is just an umbrella term though, his job description involves no lecturing and a whole load of investigating paranormal or psychic activity, and more often than not saving the world. He is decidedly upper class, and a little arrogant with it.
He has disshevelled brown hair, already showing an odd fleck of grey, and is fit and healthy; probably from all the running down corridors he does. He wears geography-teacher-style jacket, leather elbow pads and all, complete with cordouroy trousers, brown leather brogues, and a cream shirt (no tie, top button undone). Actually, his clothing is one of the most interesting things about him - he has seemingly bottomless pockets, like Mary Poppins' bag.
He thinks a lot of himself, finds it easy to attract women and used to play heavily on this. But Marienna's... not his usual type, and he's with her because he's generally in love with her, and it's changed him for the better. Now he's just very charismatic. He loves his job, loves adventure, but is extremely protective. The palaver we had when Marienna wanted to tag along with him.. >.< He's lightened up a little about her, but still is the first to volunteer for danger, and the last to let anyone else. When the situation is lighter, he likes playing tricks on people, usually ones that depend on the trust people seem to put in him (myself included).
Eumelia (I'll keep it brief since she's only a maybe) is what most people would see as insane, with a mediteranean accent and an imperfect grasp of english. She's knife-wielding, violent, fanatic, beautiful. A priestess of the Temple, she believes in every God that has ever existed, and looks for new ones, as her people believe that all gods must be worshipped. Her social skills lack a lot, even for a priestess. Like a lot of them, she is an orphan, but grew up distanced from most others because she was always odd. She classes people under liked, to be used, disliked, and necessary evils. Any digressions from this screws with her mind, a lot. She's a bit of a wreck right now because of a girlfriend problem, so very touchy, and more withdrawn than ever I've seen her. She has no qualms about using people for her own gain, and rarely admits to feeling any emotion towards people, so basically beware of her.

I suppose no one really minds, then. Thanks, guys! I'll try to keep my Muses remotely civil ^^' I'll also limit myself to three. I'm sending Akino. He still has a minor aversion to technology, but he's quite a bit better than he once was. He used to run and hide from the vacuum cleaner. Mmmm, who else... I think I'll send Alpha. No one's met her yet and Akino's currently bound to her, so it's logical. And... *is tackleglomped by Pat* ~_~ I guess Pat's going. He wants to try to hack Logos, apparently. Maybe Alpha will keep him from getting himself killed to death. So, profiles! Name: Akino Race: Shinigami (presiding from a Death Note AU) Age: OLD. I mean, really, really old. Good thing age doesn't really mean anything to Shinigami like it does to humans. Appears: His right side appears... eh, late teens, early twenties. His right side looks more like... er... dead? Appearance: He's very tall. I'd place him at over eight feet. His right side is humanoid; his features are maybe a bit more elongated than average, and his complexion is rather grayish. The "white" of his eye on this side is red, with the pupil and iris both the same shade of black. His teeth are rather fang-like. Not like a vampire. I mean all of them are quite sharp. But I don't think he bites, so no worries. His left side, is a skeleton. A charcoal-colored skeleton, but a skeleton nonetheless. The eyesocket on this side contains a dark red orb of light, the same color red as the "white" of the eye on his left side. From his back, there are two large wings, also entirely skeletal and of the same color as his right side; despite this, somehow, he still manages to stay airborne most of the time. I guess it's a Shinigami thing. His hair is black, semi-long but not quite shoulder-length, and isn't kept extremely neat most of the time (it has been dyed pink and purple before, thanks to his propensity to take bets and dares). His clothes generally consists of a trench coat, and whatever variety of clothes beneath; and his death note is kept in a holster of sorts on his belt at all times. I really have no picture that comes even close to him, so we're just gonna have to use our imaginations, k? Personality: Complete smart alec. Very dry humor. He actually has a soft spot for humans that greatly hinders his line of work; he tends to feel guilt about killing. He's also rather protective of Alpha, though he's not exactly about to admit this out loud. Also, he's controlling. He's not my muse; rather, I'm his writer. Abilities: As a Shinigami, he can certainly kill people when he wishes, as he wishes. But, as a high ranking Shinigami, he can also erase a certain amount of deaths per month. I think he's been reduced to five per month; in order to do this, he gives the dead-person in question a certain amount of his own life. If they've been dead for twenty years and he wants to give someone twenty more years, he has to give a total of forty (twenty to make up for the time they've already been dead, and twenty more to add on, basically). He can also dematerialize at will. Dematerialization can be partial, in which he becomes semi-transparent but can pass through physical objects; or complete, in which you can't see him but you most certainly can hear him. Fears: He's very, very claustrophobic. Hates small spaces. Technology in large amounts unnerves him, and he has a deathly fear of robots that he's mostly learned to control (he'll be panicking on the inside, but only a bit nervous on the outside). He also fears replacement, and is therefore very, very strict about who he lets become my muse. If he dislikes a potential muse, he will try to scare them off. On the rare occasion this doesn't work, he kills them. Even so, he won't kill another writer's muse. Ever. Rest assured of this. History: A very early Shinigami, he was first after the King; the first created by the King, long before humans ever actually existed, something of a prototype. He was flawed in that he did have some extent of emotion, so once humans came into being, he refused to kill, leading to something of a rebellion in the rest of the Shinigami (who were actually just too lazy to want to do their jobs). This led to some of the higher-ups placing a curse of sorts on the death gods; they were only allowed as many years of existence as they took from the living. Akino, who still refused, was given pity by the higher-ups because of his flaw; rather than be destroyed immediately, he was given the choice of killing for life or being imprisoned. He chose the latter option; more than half of his time in existence, he spent imprisoned in a small cave in the Shinigami world. When he finally decided he would rather kill than face this existence for the rest of eternity, it was already the mid twentieth century. He's something of a laughingstock among other Shinigami, both because of his compassion for humans and because he's done his best to overcome it by working quite a great deal harder than the majority of the lazy Shinigami who would prefer to gamble or sleep all day rather than work. I still don't know quite how he came across me, but he did, and there's not much reversing that.
Name: Alpha Race: Human; English Age: 24 Appears: Early twenties Appearance: Short, strawberry-blond hair. Left eyebrow pierced, nose pierced, three lip piercings, both ears pierced in a few places. Round 5'4" in height. Leather vests and jackets, or t-shirts, and jeans that generally aren't in the best of shape. Combat boots. Carries a gray messenger back with a black strap most of the time, in which she carries her "psychodiary," a notebook named Marcus Antonius, which is at this point in quite ragged shape, and completely full with extra pages of lined paper simply stabled to the back. There is also generally a pistol in this bag. She bears a strange resemblance to Aya Brea in the most recent Parasite Eve game, though her hair does have more of a reddish tint. pic 1| pic 2 Personality: Remarkably similar to Akino in the sarcasm area, but she tends to be a great deal more good-natured about it than him. Good with kids, but considers herself a bad influence and tends to stay away from them. Her gun is only carried as a precaution, and she isn't quick to point or fire one. She holds quite a disdain for Akino, and really wishes she wasn't stuck with him following her around. Of my muses, she probably gets along best with Pat, D, and Harpi; worst with Don, Janx, and B. Abilities: Nothing very beyond the mundane. She's a good shot with most guns, a fairly decent fighter, and she's good with technology; better at hacking than actually working with hardware. Fears: Losing Marcus Antonius (aka "Ant"). She has something of an emotional bond to that notebook, not to mention there's a lot of things written in it that she would prefer didn't get out. History: I'll keep this brief. She got stuck in a street gang with her brother at a young age, eventually resulting in the death of their parents and her brother; she got stuffed in Wammy's House, a home for gifted and intelligent orphans, after an IQ test and a few other varieties of tests proved her aptitude with computers. She formed a strange friendship with L, who was of her age; and a mentorship with Mello, who was ten years younger than her. She got in a spot of trouble with B, seven years younger but still quite threatening, especially upon discovering his death note. She hid it from him before leaving the orphanage. After 's death, she got stuck with Akino, who was the owner of B's death note; but the death note in question had long since gone missing, thus binding Alpha and Akino together. Name: Pat Race: Human; Irish Age: 20 Appears: Twenty at the absolute most; he's been mistaken for late teens before, but never older. Appearance: Let's save some trouble, shall we? He looks like he stepped out of a glam metal band from the eighties, but he probably had to duck under the doorway between decades because he's almost 6'5" tall, few inches taller if you include the hair. So he's quite tall, and rather lanky to go along with it. Generally wears band tees and jeans and beat-up sneakers. Keeps his fingerprints burned off by means of lye and water. Bright green eyes. This image would be a good match for facial features; but his hair looks something like the late Randy Rhoads'. Personality: Total goofball, though incredibly stealthy when need be; sort of a necessity, given his "career," if you could even call it that.... He's terrible at lying, and somewhat easily embarrassed; both these factors are increased tenfold if a member of the opposite gender happens to be involved. Loves technology, and loves challenges. Gets along well with all of my other muses, except for Sean and occasionally Akino. Abilities: If it involves a computer, he can probably do it. He's had his own computer since personal computers became popular. If you need something stolen, he can probably do it. Money, jewels, artifacts, pretty much anything. He's pretty much screwed if he gets caught due to his inability to lie properly (and I quote, "Er--hullo, there, officer, I was just taking this money in for cleaning, see, I'm the nightshift janitor for this bank and--"), but he luckily hasn't been caught in quite some time. And he's rather good at singing, so it's not quite as bad as it could be that he bursts into song more often than your average Disney character. Fears: He's afraid of bunnies and pigeons. And girls. The latter comes from the fact that he's really just a great big nerd masquerading as a glam rocker. The bunnies and pigeons thing, though (as well as rubber ducks, actually...), you'd have to ask him. History: Raised by his grandmother for most of his life, it was quite a blow when she died of a stroke when he was fourteenish. By this time, he was already good friends with Al and Don, and ended up sharing an apartment with the latter. Up to this point, he always had a home to go to away from the horrors and crime of life on the streets; now, though, he really didn't, and got into it himself as a result. He was already quite good with most locks, as a result of his grandmother often locking him in his room when she went out to keep him out of trouble and Pat's determination to break his way out; and adept with computers, having had one since roughly the age of eleven. He only continued to improve over the years, leading him down the professional-burglar path ultimately. Yeah... sorry that ended up so long. I really tried to keep it short. Let's just consider the fact that short is a relative term and I could easily write full-length biographies on any of my Muses? >_>

okay bio time for my muses : Delta(fire): Deltafire is by far my largest muse as well as my newest and here is his story as told to me. Delta was sparked on Cybertron a little over 9 million years ago and he started out life as all Cybertronians do as a protoform but soon was assigned to be trained for construction and repair of buildings and other structures and took the alternate form of a Cybertronian Cargo truck equipped for construction work.. He worked happily at this job and his hobby of tinkering with old machinery for about 30,000 years. It was then the Decepticons started the great war that would ravage the planet for a long while Delta's main job was to transport materials to to war damaged buildings and with the other members of the crew he was assigned to. At this point Delta was a civilian but that would change when his crew was sent to join the Constructicons in repairing an Energon storage depot. At this time the Constructicons were believed to be a group of civilian Decepticons who were officially neutral. Megatron the leader of the Decepticons changed this but that is a story told elsewhere. The Constructicons sent Delta's crew outside to repair a wall on the east side of the building and out of sight of both main doors. it was then the betrayal occurred the Constructicons called in a group of Decepticons led by the Decepticon air commander Starscream and began to loot the energon. Delta volunteered to go and let the Constructicons know the repairs to the outside wall had been completed and walked in on the looting and he ran for an alarm but was blasted by Starscream just as he had hit the alarm then he collapsed to the floor in stasis lock.. The alarm brought the rest of Delta's crew running and they were shot to pieces then the decepticons fled with what energon they had loaded. A week later Delta woke up in the repair bay and was told about the death's of his friends and after several more weeks of rest he asked to join the Autobots and was sent to their training academy where he was reconfigured into a combat carrier. Delta excelled at marksmanship, espionage and field repair and upon completion of his training was assigned to a special unit and promptly went under cover as an autobot spy amongst the Decepticons. His adventures in that work will be told else where. Since Then Delta has discovered his true root, he is a Decepticon from the animated Universe twin brother of Skipbeat ( Writer's muse). Ands he has taken a mate and they have two young femme sparklings. Buildstar: Buildstar ( bonded mate of Delta): Build grew up with Delta in the orphanage and they ended up training together to be construction workers and slowly they fell for one another. They would have become bonded but the war interceded and both both were severely injured and for a very long time believed the other was dead. While Optimus Prime saved Delta , Alpha Trion saved Build and nursed her to life and afterwards she joined the autobots femme team in an effort to avenge her fallen friends and most especially her lost love. after nearly 8 million years Delta and Build found one another again and build was reformatted by Vector Sigma to be perfectly compatible with Delta. They would spark Twin daughters after they were bonded. They both Transform into sports cars, the sparklings Hopewing and Starlight may or may not find there way into this rp.

Whatever size they were before, they're fine now. Just try to keep them below around 550 in width in the future, preferably below 500, or just provide a link to them if you'd prefer not to shrink them in favor of keeping detail. Anything bigger than 550 pixels in width stretches out the forum and makes everything load oddly.
