Depends on the gear. If we can fix then we fix it. If not, we call another division that specializes in our gear to fix them or request outside help.

On many occasions I had those.
One time I had a very senior guy call down saying that his mouse wasn't working. I took a look at his gear and noticed the receiver connected to the PC was not the right one and thought to myself: "WTF dude, seriously...?"

Technology. It's a good thing that the younger generation can quickly pick things up, but that might not last long as we age. Soon technology will outrun our brain's capacity to learn quickly and we might end up in the dust.
Unless society offers free technology education classes.
