So, the way I see it, all (or most of us) here have muses. Which means we all have a story about how we met them. So, how did it happen? Did they come to you in a dream? Were you playing your favorite game and suddenly the character was poking you with a plot bunny? Did you write them into creation? Or did they just suddenly appear?
What's your muse story?

Hey, look, a thread I meant to post in earlier but was prevented from doing so by my short attention span! Yaaaay! Geez, who to start with.... o.e; I'm ending up with too many of these guys.... Eh. We'll go with Cornelius, since he was technically my first ever muse. He was with me through most of elementary school, maybe earlier, one of my many imaginary friends from those days (which Akino attributes to "early onset schizophrenia," because he's a complete dillweed -_- . He was still the same Cornelius back then; an old ghost who I thought might have been a wizard or a sorcerer or a warlock or something, who told me stories I wrote down. I lost him as I grew older and my imaginative stage came to an abrupt halt when my nana passed away. I sort of withdrew into a shell, stopped writing, stopped drawing, ceased all creative activities. By that point I had few imaginary friends I still paid mind to, Cornelius among them, but that caused me to block all of them out completely. As a result, they more or less died. I got Cornelius back out of an act of actual kindness on Akino's part, who decided to bring him back for me. I was suspicious at the time because I still was new to the whole muse thing and was a little concerned of having a snarky shinigami for a muse to boot, so I was certain there must have been ulterior motive; but I haven't found any other reason for it to this day. And can't get a good reason out of it from Akino, who doesn't like publicly admitting that he actually isn't a complete dillweed for fear of tarnishing his precious ego. *is shoved by egogami* >.> See? Defensive. *shoved again* Okay, moving on ><; That's Cornelius. I'm still not sure if he was my first muse, or imaginary friend later turned second-muse. Regardless, Akino's still first in command; he decides who stays and who goes.

I should post here since it's a thread I started, right?
Anyway. I don't really know who to talk about. :S
I've known Vishja was there forever, but the first muse to become a muse, for me, was Marcus. I was sitting there, writing the story he originally came from, and I kept hearing him going "No, I wouldn't do that." And, more often than not, I kept mentally screaming, "STFU! You're a character! You don't get any say!" But, eventually, I started listening to him and POOF! Marcus popped into existance.
Most of my other muses he kidnapped from other realms. Like Vergil, for instance. I'm still uncertain how he got Reaver to come along...cuz the muses that I don't create and Marcus doesn't kidnap, he usually talks into coming. I know Dante followed Vergil, wanting to drag him back home, but...yeah. Reaver's a mystery. It probably involved an orgy. Or candy. Or both.
