My muses have really "interesting" conversations. I figured we'd all get a kick out of them if I posted them on here.

[Rae]

Marcus: "You're inept."
Shade: "Am not."
Marcus: "Are, too."
Shade: "I've been locked away for the past three thousand years. You'd be inept if you were, too."

[Rae]

Kai: "Change that word."
Me: "*looks up from keyboard* What word?"
Kai: "That word."
Me: "Oh.... *changes word and resumes typing*"
Kai: "Wait! WAIT! Why did you change that word?"
Me: "You...told...me...to?"
Kai: "I meant, THAT word. *points*"
Me: "*stares* Oh...."

[Rae]

This one was...amusing. Sorta. ^^;

Maya: "*walks up to Kai* Mommy? Why are boys so lazy?"
Kai: "*hesitantly* Why...do you ask?"
Maya: "*points at Dante, who's laying on the couch with a pizza box next to him* That's why. *sits on a chair next to her mum* All he does is sleep and eat. So does dad. Why?"
Kai: "Well.... *stops a moment, baking cookies* Some men are just naturally lazy...I guess."
Maya: "But why?"
Kai: "*frowning* Because some men are just so imature that they can't fathom to get off their lazy *sses and do something proper for a change. *slams a tray of cookies into the oven* Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to finish baking."
Maya: "*stares at Kai along with all other nearby muses*"

[Rae]

Marcus sticking by me. -hug- This was actually...yesterday, so...I'm a little behind. ^^;

Me: "*sick with her head in a bucket*"
Marcus: "*pats Rae's back and strokes her hair* You look like sh*t, kid."
Me: "*coughs* Thanks for reminding me. *groans*"
Marcus: "Heyheyhey, stop complaining. Get up and make some tea. I'd make it for you but...incorporeal."
Me: "*groans again* Mm'Kay. *gets up slowly and wobbly*"
Marcus: "Hey, your legs look nice."
Me: "*glares* F*ck. Off. *falls back down on her bed*"
Marcus: "Maybe later. But first.... *sits down next to Rae, humming* ...go the hell to sleep."
Me: "*already starting to doze*"

[Rae]

*grumbles* Talk about people talking behind my back. -_- *glares at muses*

Marcus: *overhears the twins whispering* Don't tell her.
Dante: *whirls around and gives Marcus a weird look* Why not?
Marcus: She's ticked off enough as it is, without the two of you coming up with some nefarious scheme for writing. *points to where his writer is thuroughly getting her butt kicked by Beowulf*
Vergil: *tonelessly* Is there another reason beside her taciturn mood that we shouldn't disturb her?
Marcus: Isn't that a good enough reason?
Dante: No.
Marcus: *stares* Are you serious? You really want to piss off the same girl who drowns her Sims when she's sick of them, who in Fable used a severed head as a soccer ball, who tried to walk a character off a building, and who has Jack the Ripper as the number one person she'd like to meet?! ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MINDS?! She's like Bellatrix on a happy pill when she's like this.
Dante: *blinks* What?
Vergil: *curious* Who is Bellatrix? And why would she want to meet Jack the Ripper?
Marcus: *facepalms* I don't know. Ask her later. *hands Vergil a stack of books* Read them, then explain them to the Idiot. *gestures to Dante, then points at Rae* Now I'm gonna ask you again. Do you really want to piss her off?
Vergil: I...believe I'm disinclined to. *starts to leave, pushing Dante as well as he can*
Dante: *is pushed out of the room before he can protest*
Me: *doesn't look up from her computer* You know I heard all of that, right?
Marcus: *yawns and stretches out on the couch* Yep.
Me: *silent for a moment* Do you really think I'm like that?
Marcus: .... *silent*

[Rae]

Never seen Vergil this irritated before. XP

Me: "*prods Dante*"
Dante: "*is, for once, strategizing* Wha'?"
Me: "Your brother's gone mad. -_- *points at Vergil*"
Dante: "*looks**gapes* "
Me: "*also staring at Vergil* Dude...you okay?"
Vergil: "*using Yamato to hack books into pieces* It's *chop* all *chop* complete *chop* and utter *chopchop* rubbish! *chop**stab**slice*"
Dante: "*staring as though the world's ending**eats some pizza*"
Vergil: "*kicks the destroyed books away from him* Not one of these holds any material vaguely relating to their subject matter! They're a waste of time and paper. *panting**glaring*"
Me: " Mmm-hmm.... *steals some of Dante's pizza* You...do know...that those are...one-of-a-kind books...don't you?"
Dante: "*snickers as he eats*"
Vergil: " ...Can we fix them?"

[Rae]

Intro to setting and peoples:
Around dusk at the muse's house. Rae is half sprawled out on the couch with her head on Marcus' stomach, like usual, as Marcus plays online poker and thuroughly kicks every other player's...butts. Rae stares at her notebook in between fiddling with the volume on her iPod and changing YouTube videos (because hell yes you can listen to two things at once!). Dante and Nero are eating their respective treats and staring at the paused DMC4 game that they are easily beating on Dante Must Die mode (d*mn them). Vergil is lounging in a chais as he reads yet another ginormous book.

Me: "*taps her notebook absentmindedly as she plots stealing Vergil's book*"
Marcus: "*sighs**turning off poker game so he can lounge around* Just write already, Rae. We've been here two an' a half hours already."
Me: "*blushes* But...I...can't."
Vergil: "*tonelessly* You are the one who wanted to write this, remember?"
Me: "*mumbles something**blushing* .... *sighs* I...can't write romance. *looks at her notebook sadly*"
Dante: "*snorts**would say something but is currently in the middle of strawberry sundae bliss*"
Marcus: "*nods slowly and sarcastically* Riiiiiiiiiight. *closes the computer and sticks it under the couch as usual**musingly* You know...you're actually not bad at it if you don't think people are going to read it."
Me: "In other words....I can't write it. -_-"
Vergil: "*dryly**at the same time as Nero* That's not what he said. *gives the other boy a withering look**returns to his book* Just write, Rae."
Me: "*looks helplessly at all the guys in the room* .... *is given the same look by everyone* ...Fine...but I wont't like it.... *sulks as she starts writing*"
Marcus: "*snorts**plays with Rae's hair as she tries to write*"
Me: "*write**pause**writewrite**getting distracted by Marcus' playing with her hair**writes more**rereads**blushes**tweaks**writes more**tweeeeeeeaaaaaaaak**writes more**glares**grrs**tweaks more**puts her pencil down* There. Three pages is enough, right?"
Marcus: "*looks at the tiny notebook at the same time as Vergil* Thaaaaaaat'll probably equal...what? *looks at Vergil* A page an' a half? I mean, half a page? *snatches the notebook away from Rae and reads it*"
Vergil: "*sits up properly**curious about the look on Marcus' face**stands behind him so he can read too*"
Me: " *mortified*"
Nero: "*finishes a cookie* Is it good?"
Dante: "*half turns to listen in on the others*"
Marcus: "*snickers**passes the notebook to Vergil* .... *bursts out laughing*"
Me: "*blushes**horrified**hides her face using Marcus' T-shirt*"
Nero: "So...not good? *confused*"
Dante: "*watching his brother's face so he doesn't have to ask*"
Vergil: "*finishes reading**blinks**momentarily closes his eyes in exasperation as he picks up a pencil, retreats to his chais, and starts writing*"
Me: "*sad**wails* I knew it was going to be cr*p! T-T"
Marcus: "*tries to calm Rae down as she freaks out and as every goes back to what they were doing* Heh, kid...you didn't do that bad...you just...didn't do that good either...."
Me: "*bitterly* So that's why Vergil's going all gramar Nazi in his PMS corner on my not-quite-good-enough scene? -_-"
Vergil: "*ignoring both of those comments for the time being* -_- .... *keeps editing*"
Marcus: "*reasonably* You just need...practice."
Me: "Face it. I just don't understand ro-- *freezes long enough for everyone to be staring at her with mixed expressions* ...mance...."
Dante: "*looks wary* Uh-oh...."
Marcus: "Oh no. I know that look. What're you planning now?"
Nero: "*worried*"
Me: "*blinks a couple times**suddenly* Dante? What would your Amortentia smell like? *has been listing to HP@tHBP**thinking*"
Dante: "My what?! *thinks Rae's refering to something...else*"
Vergil: "*in his normal quiet tone* Amortentia. A love potion, Dante. It smells different to each person. I believe she's asking what smell would attract you."
Me: "*nods enthusiastically as the attention turns to Dante*"
Dante: "*a little surprised to suddenly be in the spotlight* Uh...well...gunpowder, strawberries, and--"
Vergil: "*boredly* Pizza?"
Dante: "*blinks**stares at Vergil* How'd you know?"
Vergil: "*tersely* No idea. I guess the only way we'll find an 'ideal' woman for you...is to go to a gun factory and find the most attractive woman there who is eating pizza and wearing strawberry sented perfume."
Me: "*snickering with Marcus and Nero*"
Dante: "*cofused* Huh?"
Me: "*ignores Dante* What about you, Nero?"
Nero: "*blushes uncomfortably and mutters something about Kyrie*"
Me: ".... *knows that's the only answer she's goung to get**turns to Vergil* And...you?"
Vergil: "*suddenly looks awkward behind Rae's notebook* I--"
Dante: "You kidding? He likes girls? "
Me: "*snickers with Nero and Marcus again*"
Vergil: "*glad of Dante's interruption, for once* And you, Rae?"
Me: " *blushes and then goes slightly pale* That's...I...uh...dunno what you mean.... >_>"
Nero: "*frowns* But--"
Dante: "*also frowning**intterupts Nero* You have to tell us."
Vergil: "*is still editing**quietly* Turn about's fair play, after all."
Me: "*looks helplessly at Marcus*"
Marcus: "Hey...I already know what it is, kid. *pats Rae's shoulder* Just tell 'em."
Me: "*sighs* But I dun wanna.... T-T *sighs again**flatly* Blood, chocolate, sandalwood, old books, and...I'm not telling you the last one. *glares around* -_-"
Dante: "Bu'! *suddenly have to duck being hit by shoes that Rae throws at hit*"
Nero: "*blinks* Does she know those are heels?"
Marcus: *at the same time as Vergil* Yep."

[Rae]

(Whoo-hoo! Got the okay to post this! So...you'll probably get very confused, but there are TWO sets of the twins in this convo. Claire's twins, and my twins. So...yeah. Hence, there's a slight change in colour for the names. If you see any odd remarks that could mean there was a smiley above it...just...yeah. :/ Since I'm not even sure where this took place...no intro!)

Me: "Btw...is your Vergil present? *needs to talk to him about AU Vergil* ^^;"
Claire: Uhhhhhh. Yeah. lol silly bubble face. I just need to prod him awake, he's actually shut up for once."
Me: "XD Hehe, okay. ^^; *feels a little guilty waking him up*"

~An hour or so later~

C's Vergil: "...*sigh*...hi."
Me: "Hi. *tackles**relieved* Sorry. ^^;"
C's Vergil: "*on the floor* Happy to see me? ... I was joking."
Me: "Very, actually. ^^ *sweatdrops**backs away slowly**not sure how to explain* >_< *blinks* This...IS Vergil, right? ^^;"
C's Vergil: "Last time I checked, Dante was being slung around like an idiot by a few vengeful horny demons. I'm fairly certain I'm Vergil."
Me: ".... *trying not to laugh* >_> Okay...just making sure...can you please help me?"
C's Vergil: "Of course."
Me: "*hoping that's not sarcasm**points at AU Vergil* The problem is with him. *still not sure how to explain* I...uh...think he's possessed. >_<"
C's Vergil: "Possessed how?"
Me: "*blinks* ...Do I look like I know about different forms of demonic possession? *rubs the back of her neck* All I know is that the second he started reading these books...he went all....wonky."
C's Vergil: "What books are you referring to?"
Me: "*holds out an old looking book with weird symbols on it**snuck it out of his room* Um...it's definitely Infernal in nature...but.... *trails off muttering about wards*"
C's Vergil: "It's got to do with the dark arts then?"
Me: "Yeeees. *nods slowly* Erm...should I explain what's been going on? *finding this conversation awkward*"
C's Vergil: "Please do."
Claire: "*giggle-snort*"
Me: "(Well...It is awkward! XD *giggling nervously* I keep thinking he's gonna stab me or something.... *mutters* Plus, he doesn't fall for my bait. >_>)"
Claire: "It's ok, I know how you feel. He's pretty difficult to have a decent conversation with. lol"
C's Vergil: "*picks Claire up and plants her firmly aside* Stay put!"
Me: "Okay. Well...him and I sorta...have a trading system going on.... Like...he helps me write...as long as I give him something he wants and vise versa. I asked him to help me write a story and he asked for those books. That was...a week or so ago. Ever since he's started reading them...he's basically stopped all normal functions. Barely eating/sleeping/anything. He's obsessing over those d@mn books.
*blinks**not even gonna ask* ...."
C's Vergil: "Perhaps there was a spell of some kind on the book? It could be keeping him in a trance-like state."
Me: "(XD That's almost too bad.... *likes having decent conversations with people* :/ *wondering why he picked you up, though*)"
Claire: "*aside* He likes touching me "
C's Vergil: "Woman!"
Claire: "teeheehee *scoots out of his reach*"
Me: "But...wouldn't the wards have picked it up? I mean...I....kindasorta read a little...and...nothing happened to me.... *blinks* Would a spell like that affect your mood, too? *ran out of space earlier*
(ROFL *staying out of reach, too*)"
C's Vergil: "Maybe the wards are what is causing this oddity. That aside, although he is more immune to things that affect humans, there are...other... things he may be more susceptible to than a human might be. Magic, for instance."
Claire: "It could be some sort of trap to keep people with ill intentions from putting the book down to go practice what they've read, and have them starve to death instead?
Me: "*nods slowly* Oh-kay.... Is that a confusing way of saying that he doesn't have a block against magic...? *confused*"
C's Vergil: ":/ Yes."
Me: "Oh. So...how d'we fix 'im? *realizes that made little sense* >_>"
Claire: "I'll fix him with my luurvvvin!!!"
R's Dante: "Do we have to...fix him? *dodges Rae's kick*"
Me: "XD LOL"
C's Vergil: "... AU Vergil, what age is he?"
Me: "Fifteen."
C's Vergil: "Ah. It could be a tactic to avoid spending any time with Dante, in that case."
Me: "*blinks* Wha'?"
C's Vergil: "It's the only thing that works to keep him off my back for a while."
Claire: "^ Vergie doesn't like being bothered when he's busy with his books. Like...REALLY doesn't like it."
C's Vergil: "In the words of the internet code: Claire, GTFO."
Me: "*nods slowly* So...your tactic for ignoring Dante is becoming an insomniac and starving yourself? *pokes* No being mean to Claire. -_- *has a sword*"
Claire: "*-lmao*"
C's Vergil: "...maybe not."
Me: "(What was so funny? *blinks*)
*nods* So...something else?"
C's Vergil: "Have you tried taking the book away from him?"
Claire: "(you have a sword...hehehehehe....)"
Me: "DX Yeah. Don't try it. >_< *remembers what nearly happened to everyone who tried*"
C's Vergil: "Why not? Would you like me to deal with him?"
C's Dante: "PARTY!!!"
C's Vergil: "Dante, go back to hell."
Me: "Um...only if you want your alternate self to stab you...then rip you to shreds...then...well...no one's gotten past that, yet. Everyone either runs...or teleports. >_< Hi, Dante. *waves*"
C's Vergil: "I think I'll take my chances."
Me: "Okay...your funeral. >_< *worried*"
C's Dante: "Hey Rae. So... wanna hook up after my brother's funeral? "
R's Dante: "*blinks**leaves the room and closes the door*"
Claire: "ROFL"
Me: "Um.... *blinks* ...Maybe...? *awkward moment*"
Claire: "*-lmao*"
C's Dante: "*glares at Claire*"
Me: "(XD Dante was the first to experiance Vergil's...wrath.... *doesn't blame him for leaving*)
*blushing* I'm...gonna go get Maya...just in case."
C's Dante: "Two for the price of one. I like where this is goin'. Let's get your ass whooping over and done with Vergil, I got places to go, girls to entertain."
Claire: " Okay, I'm gonna be over there *points to far corner*"
Me: "*brings Maya into the room, just incase, and hides both of them behind the couch* When ever you wanna talk to him, V, he's over there. *points across the room at a chair*"
C's Vergil: "*starts for the chair*"
C's Dante: "Do you want me t-"
C's Vergil: "No."
C's Dante: "Fine by me."
Me: "*hiding**worried**knows there's two ways this'll turn out* Shurrup, Dante. Please. *anxious enough as it is*"
R's Vergil: "*completely oblivious to everything that's going on*"
Maya: "*frowns* Should I--"
Me: "No. -_- *holds Maya back*"
C's Dante: "*appears next to Raven and puts his arm around her* Don't worry, babe, I'll protect you from my insane brother...and his even more insane AU."
Me: "*blushes immediantly* Erm...thanks? *very glad that Shade gave her it's weapons**trying to remember how to shoot Jade* >_<"
C's Vergil: "*stops in front of AU Vergil**clears throat*"
R's Vergil: "*without any emotion whatsoever and without looking up* Yes?"
C's Vergil: "*stares down at Vergil...then sends a funny look at Claire*"
Claire: "(*whispers to Raven* does AU Vergie have the book right now? I can't remember, my memory is shot)"
Me: "(Yep. >_< *points at that book and another that's in his pocket* Hehe, AU Vergie. LOL)"
Claire: "(wants to glomp AU Vergie )"
Me: "(XD LOL *glomps him frequently* I think he's actually usually nicer than the actual Vergie. *blinks*)"
C's Vergil: "*rolls his eyes and sighs before looking down at AU Vergil again* ..Ahem..."
Me: "*meekly* I think that's the best "hello" you're gonna get from him. *still holding a fretting Maya back*"
R's Vergil: "*ignoring*"
Claire: "No. Vergil, NO. Gahahahaha, don't do it!"
Me: "Wha's happening? "
C's Vergil: "*snatches book from AU Vergil's hands and flings it across the room*"
C's Dante: "*is hit by the book* WTF?? *picks up book*"
Me: "*stares* "
Maya: "*freezes*"
Me: "Dun read it! *lunges for book*"
Claire: "*giggling hysterically**hides*"
Me: "(XD Ditto.... *picturing Dante reading* >_>)"
C's Dante: "*holds book out of reach* What's so hot about this book?"
C's Vergil: "*blinks at AU Vergil, then at Dante* That wasn't so hard. Open it and read it."
R's Vergil: "*blinks**looks extremely confused* What just.... *goes from looking blank to looking...pissed*"
Me: "*crashes into Dante**grabs the book* It'll mess with your head. *holds onto book tightly**going to burn it*"
C's Dante: "D: I don't like reading!"
Maya: "*stares**starts heading for AU Vergil*"
C's Vergil: "Don't let her burn it!"
Me: "Exactly why you shouldn't read it. *grabbing for book**blinks at Dante* Why am I on your lap?"
C's Dante: "Okay! *tackles Rae*"
Me: "*tackled* *grabs book* Um...be right back. *runs*"
C's Dante: "*chases and tackles again* Heh! This gives 'chasing chics' a whole new meaning!"
Me: "*grrs**very close to shooting him in...a very painful place* -_- *gets free and keeps running**slams the door*"
R's Vergil: "*confused**not sure what he's supposed to be doing**looks at Vergil for help*"
C's Vergil: "I'm as lost as you are. Why is everyone afraid of you?"
C's Dante: "*races after Rae, off scene*"
R's Vergil: "*shakes his head* I'm...not sure. *trying to remember the last week*"
Maya: "*holding onto AU Vergil's arm* Because he changed. It was scary."
Me: "*has run off scene, too, muttering about evil books*"
R's Dante: "*walks in**sees AU Vergil and Maya* You made up with your girlfriend?"
C's Vergil: "*looks at the couple, intrigued*"
Maya: "*blushes brightly* Excuse me. *grows wings, grabs AU Dante, then runs out of the room where loud bangs and crashes and cursing can be heard*"
C's Vergil: "*at AU Vergil* Pardon my asking...how did you get the girl?"
R's Vergil: "*blushing slightly* I'm afraid I...don't quite understand what you mean. *won't look at Vergil*"
C's Vergil: "How did you end up with Maya? Did you woo her? Did she just naturally fall for you?"
R's Vergil: "*rubs the bridge of his nose* She's...not...my girlfriend. *doesn't quite look like he's telling the truth*"
Me: "*yells from the other room* But you wish she was! Ow. >_< *tripped*"
C's Vergil: "Right. You should feel honoured."
R's Vergil: "*blinks* What?"
C's Vergil: "You got the girl, and he didn't *nods in direction of Dante*"
Claire: "Ugh. Oh woe woe woe Vergil."
C's Vergil: "It might keep me more stable if you allowed me to form some kind of emotional bond with another human being."
R's Vergil: "*smiles extremely oddly* Are you sure? *remembers a couple things that...definitely bring up doubts*"
Me: "*blinks* This conversation keeps getting more and more...odd."
Claire: "You've got a bond with Dante, what more could you want! I know, I love the weirdness of it. Especially Vergil's weirdness."
C's Dante: "And the weirdness of having TWO Vergils?
Me: "Hehe, ditto. *pokes Dante* What's wrong with having two of them? :3"
Maya: "*comes back in the room looking ruffled and a blood splattered only to leave with a slight wave to everyone* Good night.... *leaves*"
C's Vergil: "*scoffs* I just mean to say perhaps you should learn the dynamics of how a relationship works from other writers. Clearly, everyone is eager to have some romanticism involved in my childhood years."
C's Dante: "..."
Claire: "*hangs head helplessly*"
Me: "*blinks* Was he talking to AU Vergie...or you...or...who?"
R's Vergil: "Don't call me that. -_-"
Claire: "lol...to me. He's starting to question my authority as the author."
C's Vergil: "I question your humanity, not your authority."
Me: "Ah. *nods* The AU twins haven't tried that, yet.... >_> *blinks*"
Claire: "Let's hope they don't, lol."
Me: "XD Yeah."
R's Vergil: "*thinks of something**reaches up slightly and taps on Vergil's shoulder*"
Me: "*snickers* You're short now, Verge. *giggling**suddenly eeps and runs* >_<"
C's Vergil: "*turns* Yes?"
R's Vergil: "*looks like he's going to regret this decision* May I give you something?"
Me: "*blinks**sighs* And it took me AGES to get that... *grrs at AU Vergil*"
C's Vergil: "*goes still and eyes AU Vergil up and down suspiciously* Yes. "
R's Vergil: "*hands Vergil the book in his pocket and a key* You'll need to key to get to the rest of them. Do what you will with them. *knows he's going to regret this*"
C's Vergil: "*accepts*"
Me: "*grring**pokes AU Vergil* YOU REFUSED TO GIVE ME THE KEY TO YOUR ROOM FOR AGES AND YOU JUST GIVE IT TO HIM IMMEDIANTLY!? -_-"
C's Vergil: "A key, hmm? *glances at pissed off Rae* *opens the book and scans briefly through it*"
Me: "*muttering* -_-"
R's Vergil: "*nods once**gestures upstairs* They're all by the bed. *remembers the copies he has* >_>"
Claire: "What's in it? *curious*"
C's Vergil: "Things your muddled little mind couldn't possibly comprehend. *starts for the stairs*"
Claire: "Give me more credit!!!"
R's Vergil: "*follows Vergil, just incase*"
Me: "*grring* They're mean. -_-"
C's Vergil: "*over his shoulder* It's got numbers. Pages and pages of numbers."
Claire: "Meh, big whoop *loses total interest*"
R's Dante: "Do I get to say I told you so? *looking at Rae and wincing*"
Me: "*rolls her eyes* He's lying.... *looked through it* It's got symbols, too...."

(End...because it'll be even more obseenly long if I add the rest. >_> And if any of you understood all that nonsense...props! XD -woot-)

[Rae]

Intro:
Rae's sitting in her new room, yawning as she munches breakfast and enjoys the day off from unpacking. Marcus is sitting on the edge of the semi-made bed, enjoying the music playing from Rae's computer.

Me: "*eating chicken**crunchcrunchcrunch*"
Marcus: "*snorts**changing the song* Chicken and Pepsi for breakfast. Who'd a thunk it? *shakes his head*"
Me: "*looks offended* Ooh, go' prob'em wit tat? *swallows mouthful*"
Marcus: "Nooo.... *keeps messing with YouTube* Why aren't you writing?"
Me: " *drops the fork she was holding* Erm...I...dunno, really. I just...don't feel like it."
Marcus: "*gives Rae an odd look* You...don't feel like it? *raises his eyebrows as he scooches closer*"
Me: "*eeps and tries to back away*"
Marcus: "*still coming closer* And why don't you feel like it?"
Me: "*holding a pillow in front of her now* Erm...because I'm tired? And...my brain's broken? *scared of Marcus right now*"
Marcus: "*sitting as close to Rae as possible without sitting on her lap* You're brain's not broken, kid. *puts his hands on Rae's shoulders to keep her from moving* You need to get writing."
Lu: "*comes in the room**glares at Marcus* Actually, she needs to rest. You know she was sick yesterday."
Marcus: "*growls slightly**doesn't turn around* You're right. I do know that, you half-brained nimwit. Writing can be part of relaxing."
Lu: "Yeah, but we all know it stresses her out sometimes. *ruffles his wings as he points at Rae*"
Me: "*decides to ignore the muses as they begin bickering again*"

Ugh...they've been like this the past two days. T-T

[Rae]

Intro:
Rae skips happily into the muses' house, completely oblivious to the odd looks she's getting.

Marcus: "Why're you so happy, kid? *shuffles cards*"
Me: "Tom's back. ^^"
Muses: *stunned into silence*
Joey: "He's been gone for months, Lady, how do you know?"
Me: "Erm...I kinda walked into him last night. >_>"
Marcus: "*snickers with Myka and Pet*"
Vishja: "Your eyes are green again, Princess. So, I doubt you're lying. Did it not occur to you that he would probably be leaving soon?"
Me: "Erm...I...know.... *face falls slightly*"
Jor: "You afta remind 'er of tha', mate?"
Vishja: "*gives Jor a dangerous look* Keep your forked tongue out of people's buisiness."
Me: "*quietly* Maybe I should go...and write... *leaves, looking sad*"
Shade: "I'll go find her.... *drifts off*"

[Rae]

Intro:
Rae is sitting in the living room watching TV with her mum and eating chips. Marcus is wandering through the Shadow World, looking for...someone he'd rather not be looking for, but listening to Rae's thoughts.

Marcus: "Wait, wait. England has a national anthem? "
Me: " Erm...yeah...I thought you knew that...."
Marcus: " Gods...I'm having such a dumb f*cking blonde moment."
Me: "*thinks of how Marcus normally looks* But...you'r not blonde.... "
Marcus: "Huh? "
Me: "...Nevermind.... >_<"

[Rae]

(SPOILER ALERT Anyone who's reading Fear Itself, might not want to read this.)

Intro:
Rae's living room, morning. Rae is curled up in her favorite pink chair, typing, drinking a SoBe, and eating left over chicken parm. Vergil is curled up in said chair's clone only a couple feet away with a copy of the Aeneid, which he borrowed from Rae's mum. Marcus is lounging, half asleep on the couch next to Rae, and staring at the blank tv. He's also ignoring that Rae has her feet propped up on said couch. Rae stares blankly at the computer screen, wishing she could just plug her brain into it and bedone with this whole problem.

Me: "*types a couple words**frowns**deletes them* This isn't working...."
Marcus: "*jumps slightly**forgot Rae was in the room* What's not working?"
Me: "Writing this fic. I mean...FI just...can't be written anymore. I don't...feel like writing it...at all."
Marcus: "*sighs* I don't know what to tell you, kid. We've been over this before, haven't we?"
Me: "Well, yeah, but--"
Vergil: "Why don't you have a character conference?"
Me: "...Like Claire did in TSJ?"
Vergil: "*nods slowly, still reading*"
Me: "*awkwardly* Oh-kay.... *blinks* Erm...Jenny?!"
Jenny: "*stumbles into the room**trips**falls onto Marcus* Oh, sorry, Marcus. *blushes*"
Marcus: "*smirks* Oh, it's...perfectly fine. -devious- *helps Jenny sit down properly*"
Julian: "*appears just as Rae starts to call him in**glaring at Marcus* Hands off, brother."
Me: ".... *blinks**has a bad feeling about this*"
Marcus: "...I wasn't doing anything...."
Me: "*before Julian can go off on Marcus* Anyway...TTTTOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM?! *waits a while**blinks* He's not coming...why isn't he coming? "
Jenny: "He said he wasn't coming into any conversations with Julian in them, since the whole 'do you love me?' thing...."
Me: "Oh.... Well...that.... :/ Anyway. Erm...Zach? Summer? Dee? Mike? Audrey?"
Zach: "The others aren't coming.... *sits down in an empty chair*"
Me: "Oh...well...can you pass the message on to them? *waits for muses to nod* Okay...well...I've been doing some thinking...about FI...and...I've got some ideas...but...I dunno if you'll like them. :/"
Jenny: "*nervous* What are we not likely to like?"
Me: "I'll get to that in a second, but first we need...VERIN?!"
Marcus: "*as the other muses stiffen and look warily around the room* Wait? Why do we need him?"
Verin: "Because she's fina;;y introducing me into her story, you incompetant fool."
Marcus: "Shut your f*cking mouth, before I shut it for you."
Verin: "How dare--"
Me: "*cuts them off* Shut up! Both of you! *waits until everything's silent again* Alright. So...I've still got the basics of the chappie in mind. But. I've got a couple new ideas. One, after Summer vanishes...Marcus, Jenny...would you two mind having a brief discussion? That way Marcus can introduce some concepts? Two, Verin...we're scrapping what we previously talked about."
Verin: "Alright...but why?"
Me: "Because...it...won't work. So...we're going with plan B. Remember...don't kill anyone. >_< *waits for Verin to agree* Okay. Three, Zach? You're no longer being kidnapped, yet.Tom is going to be kidnapped, next. Then...I haven't decided on Dee or Zach.... *frowns* Marcus, and this is the last bit, you're going to run into Kai."
Marcus: "Huh, what? "
Me: "You'll do it, okay? Just a way to introduce your whole...fighting, thing. Btw...we're gonna start writing again tomorrow. Meet me back here in the morning, got it? *watches everyone but Vergil vanish*"
Vergil: "*nearly done with his book* You sounded like a drill sargeant, you do realize that, correct?"
Me: "...yeah.... >_< I'm not good at these things."
Vergil: "You'll get better. Are you honestly going to write tomorrow?
Me: "Yeah. After out little...tutoring session.... :/ *doesn't want him to teach her math*"
Vergil: "*nods**checks the time* I'll be back. *vanishes*"
Me: "*is left alone* .... *sighs**goes to find something to do*"

[Rae]

Intro:
Rae is sitting in the muse's house, looking for inspiration. Dante is tuning an electric guitar that he mysteriously came home with the night before. Rae secretly wishes he'd put a shirt on, but also secretly is happy he doesn't. When Dante isn't tuning the guiter, they can hear the faint sounds of Kai and Eva talking in another room. Vergil walks in.

Dante: "*sees his brother**glares**gets up and leaves with his guitar*"
Vergil: " .... *blinks**confused**sits down with a new book*"
Me: "Hey, Verge. *turns her attention to him*"
Vergil: "What's wrong with him? *nods in the direction Dante left*"
Me: " Oh...erm...."
Shade: "*drifts in* He...thinks you slept with Maya."
Vergil: "What?"
Me: "*looks awkward* Shade said--"
Vergil: "I heard what it said. I was merely questioning the misguided judgement of my brother."
Me: "...So...you...didn't sleep with her?"
Vergil: "*looks between Rae and Shade, finally realizing something* Does...everyone believe I did? *waits for the other two to nod* .... *mutters as he leaves*"
Me: "*watches him leave**turns to Shade* I just made him my enemy, didn't I?"
Shade: "How should I know? *pulls a set of dice and a couple pads of paper out of thin air* Yahtzee?"

[Rae]

Intro:
Rae is in her house, watching a walkthrough of the first Devil May Cry game as research.Vergil has finally stopped sulking, and is sitting next to Rae. Dante is sitting on Rae's other side, looking put-out.

Me: "*snickering to herself*"
Dante: "*muttering under his breath*"
Vergil: "*raises an eyebrow* Wait...so, when I explode there isn't even an 'oops' from you about killing me, yet when Trish, who betrayed you, 'dies' you become an emotional wreck?"
Me: "*trying to pay attention to the battle between game!Dante and Mundus**failing*"
Dante: "*looks offended* She looks like mom! You would have done the same thing!"
Vergil: "*opens his mouth to retort**cut off by game*"
Game!Dante: "My mother risked her life for me, and now you too. I should have saved you. I should have been the one to fill your dark soul with liiiiiight!!"
*silence*
Me: "*bursts into laughter**rolls around laughing*"
Dante: "*stares* "
Vergil: "*coughs* Excuse me while I snicker from my spot in the afterlife."
Dante: "*glares at Vergil**mutters*"

*several minutes later*

Me: "*watching the credits* You know...Trish's hair must get in her way while she fights."
Vergil: "I would assume that's why they give character short hair in games."
Me: "True."
Dante: "Sephiroth doesn't have short hair."
Vergil: "Touche."
Me: "Trish and Sephiroth have the same hair cut."
Vergil: "*blinks* Mother does not have the same hair cut as Sephiroth."
Dante: "*stares at screen* Holy sh*t, she does."
Me: "I win! ^^"
