I've only started reading the Host and I've read the Twilight. That's it. I've never read anything else of hers. ^.^;
Oh! That's wonderful. ^.^ I also feel the same. I feel like I can voice my opinions on paper. Though I still don't have the courage to say it in real life. ^.^;

It takes a lot to come out of my shell, but when I'm out... I tend to be out, sometimes.
But other times I can go back in.

I think they pity us or feel sorry for us.
Maybe that why they help us out of our shell.
Maybe it's cause humans are meant to be social teachers.

Hm. . . I like your way of thinking. But, I don't really want to be pitied. I'm quite comfy in my shell. But you are correct. Humans are always meant to be social but. . . with all the 'social rules' it's easy to get hurt now. I guess that's why I prefer the company of plants and animals more, most of the time.

Woah! You talk to yourself?!? Me too! All the time. . . my mother teases me about it too. ^.^; But yes, we are social in our own way. ^.^ Whenever I have to be social I'm usually very polite. I think it's cause I don't want to hurt anyone and I can stay in my shell. ^.^
