I found a video of someone playing a piano piece titled Arianna. x3 It's composed by Mark Salona.

Slowly building from the bottom up? That seems to be the right approach. Cementing the cracks will be good to. ~.~

Today I learnt:
That personality changes. o.O; Big deal? I know it changes. But all the time... even in the span of one year? Lol okay I must have been missing something. How about the fact that in the counselling profession after administering one of their tests, they discard the results after three years?
So much for character depth? Or rather would it be a challenge to reflect this?
I guess that's the difference between making a believable character and a character that is truly human. Hahaha... the latter will be crazy! Well that's my take for now...

Maybe it means that by always doing what you think is good for others without thinking that maybe the other person doesn't really need it you eventually make no one, not even yourself, happy? *always thought that was what it means*

@arra: Thanks Rae. =D Like your take on it. I think it makes sense especially in the context discussed in class.
---------------
"Welcome to University..."
How should I take this statement? Lol... xP I asked the prof about one of the readings and I told him I was confused. And that was his answer. The last part of it. The first was to explain that even scholars can't make sense of the Kojiki.
As I was about to leave he added something about gaining new knowledge in the chaos and confusion.
Conclusion: After four years, I am right back where I started. -.-; Quite literally. I'll let Ego and Confusion debate for now.

@basil: You're welcome. Btw, "Welcome to University" reminds me of "Welcome to the Matrix"... Okay, shutting up now. Hope you make sense of things soon. ^^;

@arra: XD *g* I was thinking of the phrase "Welcome to My World", but I think that could work too. Never got round to watching the Matrix. *hugs* Thanks.

Salute! I take my hat off to the person who made me finally understand what does "theory" actually mean. ^^; It's a first year concept that I forgot along the way.

I read an interesting argument today and still am thinking about it - irrational and rational are in essence the same thing. Both are based on observation and/or learned experience. Neither is more true than the other. [This thought scares me because science is supposed to be rational ... when we accept the above conclusion (if you haven't already done so previously), then what conclusions are we going to make about the driving force behind progress...]
And as my friend added... learned experience and personal opinion.
Sounds like an Enz/Zen argument to me. Which opens up an interesting question - what if what we see as polar opposites aren't exactly polar opposites?
Yet I can't accept that at the moment. I feel that we see it as opposites for a reason.
^^; *lost*

The things I learn while exploring the career fair today:
Rule #1: Nothing falls into your lap.
Rule #2: Meritocracy is a nice ideal. >.<
Rule #3: Competition - we can't live without it.
Rule #4: You haven't seen average yet.
Rule #5: It probably won't hurt to smile.
Luck might be round the corner...
