Pretty good. Being slack with uni work, but...
That's okay. I'll let you know what I need after the thread recycle go through. Is that okay? If I take the lead? *doesn't want to be bossy, hides*

It's Japanese! I'm practicing a little. Just started joining this free Japanese class i was invited to. It's very fun!
i think Japanese is a little easier compared to English. What do you think?

The only thing I ever had to do with Japanese was in primary school and that was a loooong time ago. But I dunno, I guess it depends where you're coming from. I've always figured that if you grew up speaking English other Latinate or Germanic languages would be the easiest to learn.

ah yes! I also noticed that Danish language has similar sounding words that are also in the English language. I'm from the Philippines and our vowel sounds are very close to Japanese vowel sounds... maybe that's why i think it's easier?
Oh, you had japanese classes long ago? can you tell me about it? I mean, anything you remember from that time.

That makes sense. I think most Western European languages are similar enough that there's some overlap. German's a lot harsher though. French and Italian and Spanish all have a kind of fluid sound to them. And English is...somewhere in the middle I guess.
Haha, the only things I remember from my LOTE classes are an evil teacher with a weird device to tell us when we were wrong, a classroom song and making sushi...not hugely helpful really.

French is impossible for me, in my opinion. I mean, they sound different from their spellings. I can't get it right unless I listen to someone speak the word first. >< Ah, yes. I hear about Spanish and Italian being slightly similar to each other. Some people study either one language then learn the other next. 0_0 what is this evil device? So you're teacher wasn't Japanese? ^^ Ah, but i don't think the Jap song and the sushi making is bad. It's sounds fun! How was your sushi that time?
