hmmm, i agree with you! I've thought about brilliant children being trained to be good leaders and outstanding professionals. It would be a good story to write about i think.

Oh, indeed. But then... what would be the plot?

Hm... maybe start off with a world in anarchy. Well not so how you would perceive anarchy (ie no government), but more like social and cultural anarchy. There is no sense of good and tolerance. Everyone is sniping at each other's cultures and look while art and media itself has degenerated into glorifying mindless violence and exaggerated graphics. The news is no better as it has become a hub of pop culture and saturated with useless information along with stretching the truths of disasters and unrest. Then comes a teacher of a humble standing and life who enters a school for his/her first day. The school is like any other with youths brainwashed by future media so that they no longer settle for something peaceful nor do they think outside the box.
Hope that helps.

Haha, writer, YOU'RE AMAZING!! That kind of story didn't even cross my mind. >< It's a good plot! That world you mentioned above is pretty much the same in our real world. But I think you can write that story better than I can. I'm not ready for an original fiction yet (haven't even finished one fanfiction story ever)
I was thinking about really smart young people who are grouped together. These are children with high potential to become excellent leaders or professionals who will later on work together to form one Utopia. It's more like a fantasy story. And there are a few people who will be assigned as their trainers and they probably have some special abilities. T_T It's like Xmen...
I'm currently trying to rewrite one of my fanfiction stories. Because I was too busy with our things, i forgot the flow of the story I am writing. The latest chapter was stupid. My OC is changing personalities over and over, it's no good...

Oh no, I can't do that. I haven't even finished a single fanfic as well. XD
Oh, what if these gifted youths have also been bullied by their peers because of their difference in not falling into the mass media and what, obviously, the plastic and generic pop culture?
Uh oh. D: That's bad. Maybe you should reread your previous chapters and works to get back to it?

LOL, we are the same! It's almost the same as x men. But it involves more media. I'm not knowledgeable about pop culture and stuff like that. Waa. i reread it so many times and every time I do that, I change some things and some dialogues which results to me not being able to start the latest chapter at all. ^^; I think i should watch the anime again. This is why I won't publish the story until I have completed writing it. My betareader might have forgotten about my fanfic already. It's been two years...

Yea. This T_T is the crying smiley. It's also this T-T. Like two eyes with rivers of tears flowing out. This to me, or this O.o, is my disturbed/perplexed face. XD

Haha! I really thought it was the bored face!! My japanese student told me it was a crying smiley. He said they use these smileys when they communicate through text and chatting. ^_^ (this is my fave happy smiley)
