OMG why can I only like this once?!!
I'll just gag the muse before I start. I know! It's like here's a perfect actor, but he's not playing him. Here's another perfect actor... but he's not playing him either. DX Happily Pace is a good actor even if he doesn't scream Elf to me. I'm ignoring Twilight too, ele I'd probably curl up into a ball and cry. I recommend watching The Fall; it's the film that made Jackson want to cast him and it's an awesome film in its own right, but I have to say I hate Roy and love Darwin. I'm going to get beaten up for this but another thing that's convinced me (not that he's going to be better than Tennant or Hiddles, but that he'll be fine) is thta he played Calpernica in Soldier's Girl. I haven't seen the film but done up as a woman he does look Elfin. Mind you that was 10 years ago. At the end of the day he can't be worse than Bloom. And because Pace's fanbase is slightly smaller than Tennant's or Hiddleston's there might be fewer rabid fangirls claiming they 'love' Thranduil, which means fewer people for me to surprise in dark alleyways.
Now I have to do an English LIt exam on pastoral. One of the big things about pastoral is freedom in the countryside. 'Freedom is the greatest lie of humanity' Antipastoral Loki is antipastoral... mind you I was going to think of that anyway even without this squee.

I'll check them both out, but I'll still inevitably be in sad-sigh mode over the whole Tennant/Hiddles fiasco, as I love them both and need them to be in more film. And given I'm just a pitiful fangirl, when it comes right down to it. Well, this is true. xD I'll just sit here quietly and hope he lives up to the role...and in the meantime, ogle over more fanart on deviantArt. Is it sad I'm actually tempted to agree with Loki on that one? I'm wondering if too much freedom isn't half of what's wrong with my country in particular, at least. Like it's a nice thought, unlimited freedom, but it drives people to laziness and unproductivity because they're not actually required to do anything. But I don't like getting political, so I cease here. Politics only irritate me lately, I'd really rather not feel compelled to think about them at all.

^ I luffles your new sig.
Random: I kinda don't want to apply now. Everyone else they hired is so experience and I'm...not. What if they say no? =(

@comma: I second Rae; there are no words to describe how much I love that sig. And at least you won't have a certain someone tagging along with you when you see it (though I kind of banned him from cinemas after the whole Avengers fiasco >.<) He'll never live up to the role for me so I'm resigned to that. I'm really hoping they don't make a film of The Silmarillion; how on Earth could they cast people like Fëanor, Celegorm, Maeglin.... actually how could they cast anyone? And personally I don't think the US is free at all but as the only non-American here at the moment I'm not going to expand on that And I've read the Prose Eddas but not the Poetry Eddas.
@rae: DX Well I say go for it; the worst that can happen if you try is you don't get the job and the bes is that you get it, but if you don't try then you'll never get it. Just bear in mind that you know it's nothing to do with your personality if they reject you -hug-
EDIT: and I almost forgot to mention I'm free from exams! I've finished 6th form... O.o >.< I'm an ex-Latin DX

^ Aww, thank you, Eli. :3 True...and maybe they'll get so excited about it they'll call me out to the UK for a chat (I can dream, right?). I'm just...pessimistic. I want a job so I'm not fretting over only having $19k in my account and the money keeps going down and down and.... DX *sighs* Congrats on finishing! =D

I think you should come to the UK anyway but then I would, wouldn't I? Which company would this job be for? And I sympathise on the money side; I only have £5k and my student loan for next yea barely covers my accomodation fee. Living costs will be interesting. I mean my parents will pay for things but seeing as I'll be living away from home I'll want to pay for things myself if I can. And thank you No idea what I'm going to do for 14 weeks but hey, I'm not complaining and I'll think of something XD I would go travelling but see lack of funds.

Thanks xD though it's subject to change. All the material I found to work with last night whilst browsing deviantArt...*squeeful*
@ Eli: I don't know or care what we are anymore, I just want out of this place as soon as possible. ;_;
@ Rae: You must! D: You'll never know unless you try. I don't know the conditions of this application at all, but it never hurts to at least try, right? Though this is coming from someone who would work at a generic factory right now if it would get her out of the house, so I may not be the best person to listen to on any work-related subject...
Was half-listening to BBCA since the TV was switched to it and I was busy working on some RP stuff, and suddenly during commercials I realize that I'm hearing Mark Sheppard. It seems he does half the voiceovers for the adverts for the shows on BBCA. How am I just noticing this?!

Well I'm back from Wales, having established that it is indeed still there. The August camp cabins are up! -dances- How is everyone?

Wales! <3 High among the list of top places I'd like to visit. You can probably feel the jealousy coming off of me even from five timezones away. >_>
I missed our fireworks. I sad panda. -sadpanda- But I have some awesome cookies and am about to have some Lovecraft to read, so it's still going to be a good night, by gosh.
Agh...I wanna do camp NaNo, but... *prods motivation* *scuttles back behind her heaping piles of short stories and half-finished-or-less novels* ><

Awww, Comma -hugs- Lack of motivation sucks. -currently forcing herself to be motivated and is amazed that it's working- -also watching the flood warnings across the country and, while feeling sorry for all the places that have severe warnings over them, is hoping the rain doesn't rain too much where she is- Your doughnut cakes on facebook look scrummy Also fanfiction.net has decided I'm in Iceland now. I kind of like this development XD Don't get me wrong, I love England and shizzle but always seeing the Union Flag is so boring... and I mean come on: Iceland! That's a far more interesting place to have as your location than the UK. -secretly hoping this is a long-term mix-up, and seeing as her South African friend has had the Union Flag for 3 years now...-

Waaaaa~ your new not-post-format is gorgeous!!!! ♥ Lack of motivation is hindering. v_v Can't say it's a complete lack, hence the heaping pile of short stories, but I'd really just once like to actually complete a novel. Send me some rain? We're in a drought and all the storms keep bypassing us. Last almost-storm we had, we just caught the very edge of it. Didn't even get any rain. We did get wind. It blew a tree over on my dad's house while we were visiting. No one was hurt and there wasn't even much property damage, but still.... They were pretty awesome I love online recipe hunting. Some of the best things ever come out of it. Though I'd still like to get a doughnut tin soon so I can properly make doughnuts.... FF.net still has me in the US. Booooo. I was hoping they'd have placed me at least in Canada or something.

Thank you I've made one for Thranduil now but I don't like it as much. But I had to make it because of the picture. The Elvenking in a piraty costume; your argument is invalid. Maybe I don't like it as much because it's unfinished... seriously, finding lyrics for him is as good as impossible. I'd love to give you some rain but at the moment it's decided to be sunny if very humid. It feels really hot but it's probably only 20C... mind you it's been closer to 8C these past few days; you wouldn't want last month to be your summer either no matter how miserable your weather is too. I may have to try it if it yields results as awesome as that. Aww DX

Mum taught me to drive a car in her video game today. I spent the entire time shooting people and crashing into rails and driving off the free way. Evil!Rae definitely made an appearance. *evil laughs*
Anywho.
@comma & Eli: Thankies, you two. =) I've sent an email to someone more...in-the-know about my mystery hopeful-job, but I won't know until tomorrow if they can help. I've decided that I'm going to go for it, even if the person tells me I'm wasting my time. The company's based in Surrey (Guildford, I believe), but I won't say much more cuz I'm scared of jinxing it. I'm gonna have to hurry and write out samples of my work, though. XP Joy.

^ Your mum plays video games... that's epic enough on its own Oh noes, evil!Rae O.o Run for the hills! Fingers crossed for you! And I've never been to Guildford so I can't tell you want it's like DX Anyway: Long long scrolly banner which shows nearly all the parts of the first Hobbit film. Why do I say 'nearly all'? Because they're still hiding the Wood-elves. Yup. -unamused Eli is unamused- But actually it's too epic to stay mad at for long. I think the bridge is for the Elvenking's halls but I'm not sure because there are no guards with them. But the bridge looks similar to the one Alan Lee drew over the Esgalduin between the forests and Thingol's halls in Doriath, which is epic beyond all proportions. I think he must have been the designer of the halls. That guy is amazing. [/end fangirl squee]
