I KNOW! Apartently Bilbo and Frodo's birthday has been recognised as Hobbit [the book] Day for the past 30 years. How have I not known about this??!!!
Also I've just been hit by another plot bunny.... meheh. It's nowhere near developed enough to muscle in on my nano choice but even so!

The awkward moment where you wish you'd done a different text for your second english essay but have no idea what you'd do instead

At least once a week you mope round the house like someone's died but even when exams are mounting and I'm so stressed I'm on the verge of tears I'm not allowed to be the slightest bit depressed. You come on all shirty with me because I haven't leapt into my new room because the furniture hasn't come and, hullo, I'm busy yet as soon as I say one word, alright in a slightly shirty way you talk back to me as though I've done you grave insult and march off downstairs in a strop, even when I appologise. You are so lucky I put up with all your crap. I'm sorry but just because life isn't a bed of roses for you doesn't mean you can get away with making my life difficult all the time.
... Phoenix - the depressed, schizophrenic Elf-king with an anger-management problem; can I move in with you?

I'm about 3 mini steps away from finishing my UCAS stuff. Even though many people in my year have already finished and some have got offers from unis, I'm still petrified I've got something wrong. This has to be one of the most nerve-wracking things I've done.

So I had this idea for a Hallowe'en fanfic which involves all the Elvenkings' ghosts sitting round a table... and this will involve Thrandul and Legolas because I'm going to kill them for this fic because it'll be Hallowe'en. I though this would involve around 7 people seeing as people not actually called king (ie Elrond at that lot) wouldn't be involved. Errr...
Thranduil, Legolas(?), Oropher, Gil-Galad, Thingol, Olwë, Turgon, Felagund, Orodreth, Amdír, Amroth, Celebrimbor, Finwë, Fingolfin, Gwindor(?), Fëanor and maybe all seven of his sons.
(?) = prince but not king
16 - 23 people at least!. I've only written three of them before! And my idea involved the all being 'friends in death' yardy yardy but with that many Sindar and that many Noldor that isn't going to happen, especially with Oropher's House around, unless there's some serious brainwashing going on. Can I crawl into a corner and cry, please? -sighs-

My thought processes while tagging fanfiction stories. This story happens to be the first I put up: Naurmellyn.
Right, so we have two spaces for three names: Thranduil Oropher, Saeros. Well Thranduil's just moping for this one so let's go Oropher and Saeros. Character 1: Oropher. There we go. Character 2: Do they have Saeros? They should have Saeros; there are some pretty odd names on this list. Hey; they do have Saeros, there he is! Nice one, Saeros! Gotta love Saeros! Right, next story...

You know you're bored when you decide to do a very rough estimate of how much of The Hobbit Thranduil's in. It's around 6.5% if anyone else is interested.

So I suddenly have this scene of Thranduil walking down a corridor surrounded by outlaws, about to identify Aragorn in order to save his 'niece'. I both want to hug him cause he's all nervous and so fricking cuuute and punch him for popping into my brain in a new bunny scenario a mere 2&1/2 hours before NaNo starts (not that I'm staying up for it or anything... not on a school night!).

So here I am watching Young Dracula. In my defense, Count Dracula is amazing.

My exchange student's coming in 5 days, my french tutorial at home wore me out too much to write, the light fitting in the kitchen's gone, I haven't learnt the Blake poem for tomorrow and my assam tastes salty. Where is everyone on this site anyway?

The awkward moment when you realise that unless Pace has his eyebrows shaped Thranduil's going to look pretty rediculous, not that it's easy to make an Elf with a Christmas garland on his head look rediculous or anything.

The awkward moment when you're watching Young Dracula, minding your own business, when suddenly you think: 'Pace will have worn coloured contacts a heck of a lot this year.' ... I hate my brain.
And I'm not constantly thinking about him; it's just that all my thoughts that seem worth sharing are awkward realisations.
