I hope that, too. It's sad to be away from a childhood friend. We were separated during high school. I did not go to the airport with them because it would be too painful to see them leave. They are my friend and his brother and grandmother.

I see, how did you survive no internet access for months? I don't know what I would do in that situation LOL. Yes, but there aren't many people around in this website. I think it's because of the recent nanowrimo month and Christmas.

It wasn't easy and i worked alot and did little projects to make my new house more to my own tastes, painted rooms and fixed little things here and there. I agree thats why hopefully it will pick up more in January. I read there was flooding in the Philippines i hope you and your family are safe.

hehe, you are so sweet. Fortunately, we were far from the flood. It hit another part of our country. Since I live in Cebu, an island at the very center of the Philippine archipelago, we are relatively safer form storms than other provinces. Thank you. ^_^
That's good. Hehe, it's seems that we accomplish other things more when the internet is out. ^_^

The internet makes us procrastinate most of the time. we always try to find something on the internet to entertain others rather than keep our heads on other things we ought to do.

oh Definitely , I know there are complaints of tons of work hours lost due to office workers messing about on Facebook and such. The internet is an import and valuable source of entertainment and information but everyone needs balance in their lives.

right! only people are not always balanced. i think it's those office workers with internet on their computers at work who are usually victim to this.

Indeed, I know many companies in the US block certain websites on the computers their employees uses to encourage them to work when they are supposed to be.

LOL, yes! Same thing they did at the school library! They blocked youtube. They should have blocked facebook as well. I think most people are logging on to facebook more than any other sites. It's one of my pet peeves to see someone facebooking all the time.

oh yes Facebook is probably the biggest time waster ever! I know some US corporations have blocked access to it on the computers there employees use while on the job.

They have to block facebook. Especially if the job of the employee allows him to use the computer most of the time and with internet. That's a lot of temptation. Anyway, they should only use facebook when they are at home, using their own personal time not working time.
Sorry, it took me so long to reply. I was busy in another forum. I don't think i will be around here often anymore. there aren't many members who have been active lately. it's hard to keep visiting wtrp.
