These are notes compiled together with Elinde and I after our little convo on MSN. This is basically what the Elves are like on Temecula.
Temeculan Elves • Longest living race on Temecula, some of their people were survivors of the Divine Cataclysm • Believe they are immortal • Isolated themselves from the rest of Temecula for fear of going mad from watching many generations of the other races dying • Very xenophobic and closet arrogance, caused by their own isolation • Kingdom name; Eruidor, means “First Land” • Adds to arrogance as they believe the lands of their kingdom were the first ot be created by the goddess • Closed borders • Paranoid of others and knowing about them, but secretive at the same time • Highly suspicion of everything and everyone not elvish • Have neglected to maintain their borders and keep watch of them • Love to gain and discover new knowledge, but, even before the Divine Cataclysm, didn’t like giving others knowledge about themselves • Don’t really understand the problem with that • After isolating themselves, they have gained very little knowledge of the changes that have been happening on Temecula since then

Is there ethnic or racial diversity amongst the elven kind of Temecula?
I mean, since they were the first to be created by the goddess and have lived so long, it could make sense that what was one people split into different groups which developed separately at the same time. The isolationist elves mentioned could be the true elves of Temecula, residing in the same place and retaining the original features designed by the goddess herself, which would give them a sort of regal standing. Other elves, ones that may have formed smaller cities separate from the main city where climate, food, and lifestyle changed may have developed other 'mutated' or otherwise different features than the True Elves. Elves which moved in and reproduced with human kind could be variant as well.
Simply curious. :]

That could work. XD I mean I see no reason why the Elves all have to be in Eruidor. Maybe a group became sick of the isolation and moved into other countries.
But I think that the Elves who stayed cut off would have disowned these bands, making them kind of outcasts. That's not to say the 'outcasts' give a toodles about this title though. XD
So yeah, that's my suggestion.

I like that idea, very interesting. :3 Likewise, I can't see why that wouldn't happen. Eli, you seem to know more about the Elves of Temecula so do you mind having authority over them? If you do, that's alright.

I'd love to be, Writer XD. -is far too bossy when it comes to Elves ><- But if someone wants to RP as an Elf from a band that's left Eruidor then they can have control over that band.
So I'm thinking these bands wouldn't have a country of their own but would be resident in other peoples'. And maybe some would be accepted as part of the variety and some would have to keep their heads down or fight back.

Oh, I'm a bit interested in discussing about the possibilities of Elves living in Destron seeing Destron is under my, and Raven's, authority.

Random exerpt taken from Comma about the elves)
Elinde, can there be some form of Lythari elves in Temecula? Below is an exerpt I found which I think can be modified if you're interested in including them in the elf roster so to speak...
I know there is already a race known as shapeshifters in Temecula split into two groups being feline and bird. Sometimes, even, there are mutations amongst the race causing strange hybrid appearances and transformations. Considering the current birthrate of mutant shapeshifter offspring (seemingly a strong possibility), I think it could be presumed that the race's origins lie with another race whose genetics mutated and somehow enough of these 'mutants' got together and started reproducing and thus came about shapeshifters. Likely, Shapeshifters being more susceptible to genetic mutations is probably due to the fact that their organic make-up is more flexible since they change between forms... (don't know where I was going with that...) ANYWAYS, I'm presuming the race Shapeshifters descended from is human based on what I'm guessing their non-animal appearance to be like. *takes deep breath*
So I'm thinking the same 'mutant' gene thing could have happened amongst the elves, specifically, the earth elves, except instead of developing into bird or feline shapeshifters, became lupine shapeshifters, their humanoid form being elven in appearance rather than human.
I suppose then, that outside of their homeland where they may be called the Lythari (or other name), to elves they would be considered shapeshifters and to shapeshifters they would be considered elves (since they do not transform into feline or bird species) and thus have a harder time fitting in to one race or the other.
Erm... we can discuss more about Lythari later if you're interested in including them...
Anyways, I noticed there are already two species of Elves as detailed by Comma in the character profiles area and quoted above. As far as ideals and social tendencies, how similar are the Light and Earth elves? Does everything mentioned in the first post about elves apply to both subraces or more towards the Light elves?
Food for thought.
AND...
Writer, am I right in presuming that Destron in more technologically inclined than most provinces/regions of Temecula? Perhaps elves living there were tired of living generations upon generations with the same traditions and were intrigued by the prospect of helping bring Temecula into a new era.

Mystik: Yes, you are correct. Destron is more technologically advance when compared with the other kingdoms. Hm... to your other question, we might have to set up a discussion thread for Destron. Would that be okay? We might also need your thoughts, Eli.
