The Fairy folk of Telemcula are a bit different than your run of the mill fairy.
The stand between 2 and 3 feet tall, males and those of royal blood being the tallest.
The wings of the common fairies and nobles unrelated to the royal family resemble those of a Dragonfly, The females royal family has wings like those of a Butterfly. the males those of a Moth.
The Fairy kind practice a form of earth magic, which they cast with their wings.
Their wings have healing properties and for this reason they have been hunted as the nobles of all realms have desired powders made from their wings, or live fairies to cast rejuvenation spells on them.
The fairies are not physically strong and rely solely on there magic to defend themselves.
The are quick and agile and have excellent vision and hearing.
The Fairy race has never been warlike, but will fight when pressed.
Anyone who saves the a fairy is by fairy law granted a life debt and the fairy whose life they saved serves them for life.
