Wylofain is an assistant-muse; he assists Phoenix when plot bunnies contain things beyond Phoenix's experience/reckoning, but never gives plot bunnies himself and has no say in how they are written unless Phoenix says otherwise. He comes in when a bunny is about 'modern' tech, my world, or non-conservative views on things like relationships and foreign relations. He also brings in a young aspect to things - even though he's an Elf, he's more like a typical modern English teenager - though there are things neither he nor Phoenix know about.
Wylofain is an Elf-prince though he doesn't act like one and will be taking over Phoenix's role in the Muses' Realm, which makes him an RP muse, though sometimes he is allowed to chip in on bunnies when Phoenix is around. He's around 16 (human equivalent) years old, and currently 6'1. He has pale skin, though he tans slightly in summer, very dark reddish chestnut eyes which seem brown in some lights and are larger than you might expect. His hairs's so white it almost looks icy blue. It's thick and usually ends just below the shoulder, where the locks give the impression of wispy clouds... or cotton wool. It suits sleek, modern long bob styles very well, and Lovai has it cut in such a style when he's confident his father won't see him until it's grown out again.
At home he wears quite a rich outfit a little like Phoenix's (hardly surprising as their worlds are similar) although he looks like an 'eccentric pirate' to quote said Sinda. Anywhere other than home (ie with me and in the Realm) he wears understated yet on trend items, leaning towards the smart casual end of the spectrum. He has a perchance for tailored corduroy jackets and, as at home, he likes wearing a mix of browns and whites. Occasionally he remembers to put on a watch.
He has a Welsh accent; when he's been away long enough to revert to his native accent he sounds like he comes from the Brecon Beacons, though it's weak and is easily influenced by accents around him. He uses the venacular a lot and after a while he sounds like he's from round where I live (on the English South/Midlands border).
He's a very open person and always willing to meet new people and try new things. He has a lot of nervous energy which sometimes leads him to making faux pas, but he always makes them with the best of intentions. He feels he doesn't have a place at home but now he's found one here his confidence has increased ten-fold, so now he will banter and hold his own with people but always good-naturedly. His open-mindedness means he's not phased by any of the technology he faces even though the vast majority of it cannot be found in his home world. In any case he's used to it now.
He's always interested in the people and things around him. This leads to many questions and much fiddling (and some breaking) of stuff. Since becoming my muse, he has taught himself how to hack computers and, once he's learnt to drive he'll probably be hotwiring cars soon afterwards.
Like I said before, he is an Elf-prince of a realm with some international influence. His mother died giving birth to him and he was his parents' first child. His father, Rhaeadr Ysbryddân is away often 'on business' and when he is around he's kept busy by realm matters.
He doesn't have many friends because at home he is quiet, being terrified of Rhaeadr. They have a strange relationship; his father does love him but gets frustrated easily and often takes these frustrations out on Lovai. He has had a full, glass decanter of wine smashed over his head before now and there are some small scars on his neck from his father's long nails. But Lovai is in denial about this; his father talks to him so rarely that when he's away, Lovai can suppress any wrongdoing and can confidently say that Rhaeadr loves him. It is only when his father's in his vicinity that he feels uneasy. Let's just hope Rhaeadr has no reason to come through to the Realm or he and Phoenix could clash... in a big way. Especially considering Phoenix's remark: 'anyone called Spirit of Fire [Ysbryddân] is bound to be trouble'
Lovai sees Phoenix (who he knows as Eldu) as someone between mentor and second father for when his actual father is away (ie most of the time). He accepts Phoenix's authority, even though he does challenge it sometimes just to get Phoenix's back up, and welcomes his guidance.
He feels like Hallen is his and Eldu's ward and takes this seriously. He also likes that Hallen's around now because Eldu treats him more like an equal rather than a child and his behaviour has changed accordingly.
He likes Erin and Rucran but is unsure about the other muses he's met.
