Welcome to Grimmauld Place, where sunshine never comes and dreams die. It's a dark house. And a Black house, which might mean something. It's a place of restraint and suppressed insanity in this, the year 1977. But all is not lost! Come, visitor, and meet those who reside within. Just be aware that some of them are not all that they seem and others are as dangerous as can be. Take care who you make friends with.

------------------------------------------------------------------------ A freak of nature stuck in reality I don't fit the picture I'm not what you want me to be Sorry You want to fix me Push me into your fantasy You try to give me Sell me a new personality Sirius doesn't like this house. There are too many bad memories he'll always associate with the place, and the memories are painful (will always be painful).
Even in this 'new world' (realm?) the memories remain (and they're all the worse because back home he's living with the Potters, who loved him like a second son, and he knows, he knows he can get out of the house but here he really can't).
He says as such to Cinna, who came with him at his request (he had to give the older boy the big puppy eyes, so technically it's begging but he'll never admit it if anyone asked). Cinna just looks up at him silently, pale from the indignant screeching of his oh-so-beloved mother at the idea of a Muggle in her home. Cinna didn't understand what she said but he cringed back anyway.
"Why don't you go elsewhere, then?" he asks, and his voice, as usual, is soft and gives the impression of a feather floating on a gentle wind. Sirius has to tell him that he had, but it's different here. Somehow it's different.
He doesn't like it being different.
(Or maybe it's still the same, maybe he's in the past but with imaginary friends. He'll never find out, will he?)
Cinna just nods and looks at the door a little worriedly like he's afraid the old bat will burst in to curse him like she's been threatening. Sirius pats his hair.
"She can't get in. She won't, anyway - she doesn't think much of my room's decor," he tells the slighter boy, who just draws his knees to his chest and doesn't answer.------------------------------------------------------------------------ male | 17 years | 6’ | human | wizard | Kevin Zegers Strange © Tokio Hotel

Andromeda leads her little sister along by one hand. Cissa trails behind her, docile and distant. Occasionally she reaches out to touch the wall like it's not quite on the same plane as she thinks she is. Meda glances back, trying to keep the irritation from bubbling over.
"I can't believe Bella-" She cuts herself off because yes, actually, she can believe that Bella would drug their little sister. Again. Just for fun. She squeezes Cissa's hand instead, pulling her a little closer in the chilly, darkened hallway. "Come on," she whispers. "Just a little further."
She looks around furtively then slips into another deserted corridor. It's convenient that Sirius' room is in the least used wing. Convenient and probably intentional. She knocks, looking around nervously as she waits for an answer.
Behind her Cissa looks around, bemused by the moving shadows and surreal world. It's much more beautiful like this.

Sirius looks over as Cinna jumps and lifts the pillow he's been holding in front of him like it'll be a fit shield for his mother's curses. Cowering. Sirius finds himself thinking that the older boy would never have made a Gryffindor... Hufflepuff, maybe? Or Ravenclaw if he's bright.
"Relax, I told you. She's not going to come in here." Sirius steps over to the door and opens it, blinking at Andromeda and Cissa as they step in. He offers a smile, shooting Cissa a curious and concerned look. "Hey cousin. What brings you to the land of the rejected ones?" The words are spoken with only a touch of his usual bravado; he'd thought there might be a chance the person at the door was his mother.
Cinna lowers his pillow, studying Cissa curiously.------------------------------------------------------------------------ male | 17 years | 6’ | human | wizard | Kevin Zegers Strange © Tokio Hotel

Pass it down from kid to kid The chain will never end Unless I decide to go to it Will I see the end?
Andromeda sighed as Sirius opened the door, pushing past him without waiting for an invitation, looking back over her shoulder and trying to hide her nervousness.
"Close the door." She ordered. "Bella's back from her stupid meeting." She let go of Cissa's hand, crossing to push the door shut when Sirius wasn't fast enough, pulling out her wand and locking it, just to be on the safe side.
Behind her Cissa wandered over to the wall, laying her cheek against it, eyes hazy as she watched her hand come up and stroke the faded print visible between Sirius's posters. She didn't seem to be aware of any of the others, too intent on whatever it was that had caught her attention in the wallpaper. She started humming tunelessly to herself, eyes wide and vacant. Oh, don't you find it strange? Only thing we share is one last name Did I beat you at your own game? Typical of me to put us all to shame
