The ghost of an elderly alchemist and a young ex-serial murderer he has taken as his student live in this humble little cottage, a few miles into the woods outside the suburbs of Musehattan and bordering the Misty Grove. The clearing of wildflowers that the house lies upon the edge of is normally quite a peaceful setting, but the occasional muffled explosion heard from within the small cabin is enough to make any small woodland creatures in the area scurry off. Whatever's going on in there, it's not even visible from within the ground floor of the humble little house; the place is kept quite clean and presentable, with a small kitchen/dining area and a living room with little more than a few bookshelves, a fireplace, and a small sitting area. There's also a door to the basement, but it's padlocked from the other side; the only person with a key is the old ghost, and no one is allowed downstairs unless he accompanies them. He refers to it as his "study"; could it be the source of all the ruckus?
