(Well, I assume I can post this as I'm a mod in this forum despite the fact that I wasn't aware of this until recently... so... here goes.)
The small town of Ceran (seh-rahn) Meadows, once a small town known best for its reputation as a happening town full of jazz clubs, has been seemingly abandoned for quite some time. Neighboring cities claimed that a deadly, orange smog from the factory at the center of the little town killed most of the residents, even though there are very few bodies to find.
All in all, something about Ceran Meadows seems very fishy. There are signs of struggle in a few locations around the town, now only accessible since that mysterious orange smog suddenly lifted one morning. Only a few things are certain--very few bodies of the supposedly dead are left, and the disaster centered out of the abandoned factory at the center of the town. No one has bothered investigating, and it has since become an ideal spot for looters and other criminals looking for a place to hide, as most people are too afraid to venture near it.

Should be tons of things. It is an entire town, after all. Albeit a small one, but yeah.
There's the factory, of course, that needs a bit of examining, since it's where all of this seems to have originated from. There were also rumors of strange creatures roaming the streets of the town for awhile.
And I know Don's hanging around somewhere, since he and Al are looking into opening the town back up as a post for current-day outlaws to hang out.
There should be plenty of other stuff. Any other ideas, anyone? =3

I guess we can explore the factory eventually! It'll be fun to try and figure out what exactly happened and the cause of the fog!
Do you think we'll be bumping into more looters/vagabonds too?
I wanted to ask you which creatures do you have in mind? =D Will they be tough to fight off?

Yep, that it will ^^ -woot-
I could see that happening ^^ The town is a landmine of totally unprotected valuables right now. Probably not many, since most who live near the town are still afraid to set foot in it, but there could definitely be a few.
Well, until our Muses learn a little more about them, it'd be better just to hide from them, though I sort of don't see a few of my Muses going for that option. *looks in particular at Pat and Don and possibly even B* -_-'
Were you planning on introducing any more Muses aside from the ones already there? =3

Haha... no. Only Philippe is left. Ka'eo can't talk. So effectively I have two muses and a muse muse. Muse muse being the muse of a muse or a muse's pet.

Yep, probably. B's the only one that really knows about them in the RP at the moment, and he only knows as much as Cornelius was willing to tell him, so yeah. We may run into a few.

Mmm, I'll try to explain a bit without giving too much away.
The Forgotten are, basically, ideas that died. There are tons of different variations of them. They come from the Forgotten Realm, which is a place where Muses go when they die. One of my Muses had the misfortune of going there, Cornelius, when I accidentally killed him through a lack of ideas.
Anyway, Miasma (who B mentioned, I'm not going to say too much about her) has taken over the place. The Forgotten are the regular inhabitants of the place, and she's using them as her own personal army. She's behind what happened to the town. Some of her Forgotten cleared out a lot of the dead bodies, but missed a few and are still working on it, so they're still hanging around the town.
The Forgotten are totally mindless creatures, and flock towards people who might accept them--basically, they're all variations of ideas that writers had and disliked, and threw away without a second thought. So if they feel that there is someone around who might like the idea they represent, then they will automatically go to them. This doesn't go for Muses, however--they have an aversion to Muses and will attack them if they get too close to them.
Does that cover it well enough or is there anything that needs adding?

Hey... how about the battle sequences? I know we are going to avoid them at first... *shifty eyes* But will there be a possibility of us fighting them?

Bas and I actually did work on it a little. We added Scavengers and Bandits.
Scavengers are the sort of ideas that come to us but we just never get a chance. They're coyote like in appearance and dwell in abandoned areas. Those of them that represent similar ideas travel together in packs.
Bandits are humanoid in appearance and range from three to three and a half feet in height. They're the ideas we get that are inspired from other works, but end up being too much like the work that inspires them, enough that they could be seen as being stolen. Since they more or less are stolen ideas that were slightly altered and thrown away, stealing is in their nature. They also like abandoned areas and back alleyways. Both species are probably in the Ghost Town right now, so the Bandits will probably be stealing random items from our Muses every so often.
The Faded are definitely a different species since they actually used to be Muses... but saying too much about them would give away spoilers about what's really happened with the town.
xD Battle sequences!! Given how confrontational some of my Muses are *glares at Don in particular* there probably will be some fights, at least on my side. Not sure of how they'd work. Any suggestions, guys?
