I got the idea from a PS game. I remember a character using her chakrams by twirling or swinging them in the air and then the chakrams glow then it fires elemental attacks to an enemy. Something like that... ^^ It's hard to explain. Air gear? Woah, I never got the chance to watch that anime series. Was it good? Sure!

XD Sweet! I think the fire element suits the chakrams.
Haha... the character I thought of was Tira from Soul Caliber IV. She's dead awesome. =P Have you played that game before? Lol... I keep calling her Ivy. ^^; *thinks she must be thinking of poison ivy*
It was a cool clip but I didn't watch the series after that. XP Might though.
Btw how's your character coming along?

My idea was that the chakram can suit any element. No attacks too strong nor too weak. You can say it can be used againts any foe. Oh yes! I have this soul calibur 3 PS game. I recall Tira using that really big rounded weapon, i think that's a chakram. Haha! That's okay! Tira suits the name Ivy as well! Not very well. I'm still doing research and stuff. It's important since i don't know what fire emblem is really like. And I know temecula is based on that game. I wanted my character to fit well in the RP How about yours?

Well they aren't quite fitting at the moment...
But...
I'll wait and see. =3 Things can always be adjusted I guess.
Oooo any element is cool! I don't know I find most elements annoying though. =/ Black mage over doze?
But... Elementalist was fun on Flyff. Psy Keeper too (though Psys are non elemental users).

I have very little knowledge about chakrams so I am not so confident about using it as a weapon for my character. Hahaa! But black mages can not or rarely use healing magic, which could also be considered a weakness. Just the basic elements will do, maybe three or four. Flyff? That online game?

I don't much either, but I want to learn and experiment. *loves learning about new weaponry* *bored of swords*
Yup that online game! Played it before?
*nods* I somehow think elements are interesting in many games. XD
What are some interesting magic systems you've encountered?
Haha.. I'm confused. *hates getting her facts muddled up* I should learn to focus on one thing at a time.

Swords are overused, yes. =P Come to think of it, chakrams are a lot harder to use than swords. I think a character can show off more when using this weapon. No. I saw the ads about Flyff. But I've never got around to play it. Hmmm... I got new ideas of magic from watching 'legend of the seeker' do you watch that series? It's really good! i like the concept of magic craymels from 'tales of destiny' as well, it's Ps game. just normal and simple magic, nothing too complicated. that's okay basil, i'm like that too

Yup! =3 Though showing off is the least on my mind...
Lol... *loves learning about weaponry* I like guns, but I want something more physical. Guns seem lazy somehow compared to thinks like swordplay and sorcery.
XDDD Nice! Mind telling me more about that system of magic?

showing off weapons in writing is not really showing off anyway i know xena, a character from a old series, is pretty good at chakrams guns are better used when there is a horde of enemies. a sniper is also cool. but plain shooting is not very impressive it goes like this. in the game, craymel is in nature and one uses the power of craymels to control the elements and even nature itself e.g. calming a strong, flowing river. craymel powers of different elements may be combined in order to form a new kind of spell or magic. each spell requires a certain level from a character in order to learn it. that's basically it

=3 Xena! Never really gotten into the series, but she does seem cool.
LOL can't say I disagree. Magic doesn't exist in the (real) world, so guns are like a substitute. But I don't know, weapons of mass destruction just... don't sit well with me. -.-; 100s and 1000s wiped out in less than a second. People say that those people are simply unlucky...
Meh... sad truths.
*feels that guns belong in that category somehow*
I don't think outlawing dangerous weapons is the solution? There must be something underneath it... x.X
=P Nice! *loves mixing stuff* Are there certain combination that don't work?

she is. she's quite a fighter and beautiful too! It may seem cool but it's actually sad to think a weapon can kill so many in an instant can you elaborate more on that ^^ about the 'underneath' thing, i think, when it comes to craymels, any element can be brought together to formulate a spell. in the game, there are a total of 12 craymel entities and there are 2 mages that will share among them both all this craymels. a combined spell can only be done if the elements are carried by different people. hehe, i have not played the game since high school so my memory of it is unclear

I was thinking about individual psychology. Do people have the breaks that will prevent them from killing others. I believe that there are people out there who don't have it. >< This makes it super scary!
Haha ... how have you been btw?
Real long time since I saw you.
I'm done and finally able to smile. XP
A quick question - do you believe that people can grow in times of adversity?

Ah, i get it now. Those people who've lost their sanity have little control of the things they are doing. that sounds scary, alright. busy, busy with school as always. i log in to wtrp to neutralize my stress somewhat. woah, which reminds me. i haven't seen a picture of you since ever. >< I believe so. People mature and learn many things from difficult experiences. sometimes, this difficult times makes them reflect on some things.

Very nice answer! *likes Frappe's post*
*agrees* Very. Humans are too unpredictable! x.X
*hugs* Sounds like you are having a very busy semester. Will you be getting a long break during Christmas?
*nods* XP I would have said I'm too shy to do so, but most of my penpals here have added me to facebook. Hmmmm... wanna trade pics? But let me warn you first, I'm not pretty at all!
o.O *curious now* Have you seen pics of the rest before?
PS: As irrational as this may sound... but I think WTRP hates me! I keep lagging out. -.-; This is the fifth time I'm attempting to reply to our penpal thread.

^^ thanks. you are very fond of liking post. have i told you that i took one of the quotes you wrote on your journal and posted it on face book? the one where it says about great minds discussing ideas, etc. LOL. I'd like my classmates to realize what a mean thing it is to be talking bad about other people. i don't think i can afford to have long breaks. we still have many requirements to fulfill and many things to write. i also have to go on hospital duties and things like that on my free time just to complete my requirements. had to endure all this since graduation is fast approaching. I'm getting nervous and excited about it. >< Nonsense! I don't think you are ugly or un-pretty. I never think about looks when it comes to really nice people and friends. >< sure, can i have your full name then so i can look for you on facebook? which reminds me, i have to make friends with the others on facebook. i'm excited to know what they look like. XD no, no, i haven't really seen many other pics. maybe it's just temporary. i had that problem before, too. just have your computer checked in case.
