SO!
Here's the plan.
All T-rated to start off with, I'm going to write 25 fics for the DMC fandom. 25, because that's the amount of fics that show up on the first page of the category.
And I'm going to upload them all one time. Yes, I understand that there's a chance that some other fool in the world will post their fic up the same time as I do mine and therefore will ruin a smooth page of Clairavance insanity. But that's okay. I'm still going to dominate and spam.
Whoot for apocalypses!
Here's the order it will be done in. When posted the last fic will be first on the list. That's why I'm starting with my already existing fics in need of updating, so if they DO go over onto the next page, that's okay, because the people who matter have set story alerts for it and will be notified either way.
1: Chapter 31A, Play It Up, of I Hate Everything About You fic:
With Eva gone things heat up between Keira and Dante, things actually settle between the brothers, and something sparks between Keira and Vergil. Like the chapter title suggests, I'm playing it up for the next chappie, which is the overly delayed V-day Special I promised. With the lemons. Oh yeah babeh.
2: Chapter 19, That's What Friends Are For, of A Futile Second Chance:
Enji meets Ali, ends up having a big brawl at school that has him expelled. Dante goes to 'see a guy with a dog'...ahem, Julian, ahem... and comes back for Enji. Another new school and Enji gets targeted by the bullies on day one - and gets some unexpected help. Setting the atmosphere for the next chapter where Dante refuses to let Enji go on missions with him.
3: Chapter 3, The Devil Within, of Awaken The Immortal Force fic:
Vergil wakes up with only the memory of what is name is. Or so he believes. He discovers the people that have taken him prisoner are psychos who tie up and starve lost tourists in their attic. He meets one of the girls the whackos are purposely keeping alive because 'she has magic' - lettered in the dark arts and knows a lot of the demon realm. Vergil leaves with her at the end.
4: With Love From Hell *twitch* WANT.TO.WRITE.IT.NAO!:
Dante receives mysterious messages early one morning and while he and Trish try to make sense of it, Dante discovers a battered and bleeding boy outside his shop. He takes him in and tries to get him help, but when the boy insists that Dante go save his mother, he obeys. When he reaches the location he finds a demon with the appearance of Sparda. He tries to fight him off, fails, and watches helplessly as the demon drags the woman into the demon realm. Dante returns to his office to find Trish and the boy gone. Having gotten no word from Trish for the rest of the day, he eventually sets out to go check up on her at night only to find her unconscious and in bad shape on the side of the road. She has no memory of what had happened. Dante goes back to the office, hellbent on climbing into whomever had hurt her, and is met with a dead boy and an unexpected visitor that asks for his help.
5: The Elite:
Nero has always been at odds with the Order of the Sword, a lone-wolf with a dangerous bark and a fatal bite, everyone understood he wasn't one to be tested. With the Order of the Sword destroyed, a serenity layered the people as they continued to rebuild their once beautiful city. When a new Order from a faraway land comes in peace and establishes itself in Fortuna overnight, Nero is tormented by a voice calling to him in his dreams. He starts seeing things and hearing things, and feeling things that go beyond the bizarre. Nero sets out to investigate the new Order, convinced that their intentions were foul. Step by step, as Nero comes closer to the source of his discomfort, he begins to lose control over everything. When Kyrie goes missing, things start to go very, very wrong.
6: Amethyst Shadows:
Just my take on how Sparda and Eva met and fell in love, up until the conception of the twins.
7: Roses are Red, Violets are Blue:
The Devil Arms are disappearing, and all signs point to the culprit being a human girl. The sons of Sparda set out to retrieve their valuables, only when they find it, they find a Sparda fanatic like no other.
8: Ragnarok:
When the hellgate beneath the city of Fortuna is broken open, Mundus invades the human realm and enslaves mankind. There is no sign of Nero, and no hero pitches up. Everyone has hopes, except for Lacy, a distant relative of Sparda's bloodline.
9: Chapter 3, Shaking Off a Fangirl:
I don't know yet. I'm just going to be annoying the crap out of Dante, I guess. Whoot for fangirlism!
10: Interview with a Devil:
Me asking Dante, Nero, Vergil and Sparda random questions about their lineage, what they stand for, and what exactly it is they do.
11:Dustdevil:
Reports of a haunted wood has Dante pulled to a far off location when the rumours of a great man sharing kindness and power with the children who dare venture into it and returns with these memories. Dante stalks through the wood until he is good and lost, when he discovers an old man who kindly invites him into his cabin to get out of the cold. After sharing a few stories with Dante of Sparda, he attempts to kill Dante, crying out that he had known he would lure scum like Dante to there. After facing the devil in its true form, Dante sends it into the nether realms with a boot up the behind and a smack on the back of the head.
12: Trapped:
Eva’s spirit is trapped in a dimension hidden behind mirrors. Her spirit follows Dante.
13: Dreams of Chaos:
Carnivorous hairy pigs flying and the sky having turned to a thick substance similar to water. Blood rains from the sky and turns streets into rivers. Large bugs infest the city. And Vergil is around, the child Vergil looking like death itself, and Eva a rotten burnt corpse that cries out to Dante, and Sparda, fleetingly there but gone when Dante chases after him. Until Lady shows up and tries to swoon Dante, who in turn finally uncovers her as Sid when she tries to kill him, and Dante finds that Sid had made a deal with a djinn – to bring dreams true – in return for Dante’s amulet, and to aid him in killing Dante. Dante tracks down the djinn – and in good ol’ fashioned way has the cocky djinn retract his magic by having him begging to give Dante anything he wished without consequence.
14: Of gods and godesses:
Mundus’s creations, a brother and sister, reign havoc upon a coastal town. One can control the elements of lava and fire, the other can control the water and weather. Dante meets them after their turbulent moods sets the world into chaos, and after some harsh exchanged words and a bit of bloodshed, they negotiate with Dante to track down Mundus to wreak their revenge on him if they were to restore the earth.
15: Raining Ember:
Dante is called onto a case where a town is struck by supernatural phenomena, and the town folk seem convinced that one little girl is to blame.
16: The Order of Sparda:
Nero is taken captive in the middle of the night and locked down in a homely glass cage. He tries to appeal to the demure girl who brings him his food but she only stares at him with a sickening glint in her eyes. He is drained of his devil strength and interrogated day after day, his weapons are confiscated and no one will answer his questions. Eventually Nero manages to break out of his cage, due to human error, and sneaks through the warehouse to find his weapons. When he finds Yamato it is somehow bound to Rebellion and Force Edge, which sets Nero off searching for Dante. He doesn’t find Dante and seeks refuge in a vent, and accidentally eavesdrops on a meeting by the people who had abducted him, and learns that their plans are to locate Sparda, not believing that the demon lord was deceased, and he learns that they had managed the impossible – to resurrect another son of Sparda deemed to have been dead. Nero follows one of their people when the meeting disperses and interrogates him and demands he take him to this ‘son’. Which he does, and after Nero knocks him unconscious he discovers Dante in his own cage, not of glass but of metal at least six feet in width (with numerous dents from the inside), and he can only see him through a security camera. Nero breaks into the cage and manages to drag Dante, on the brink of death, from there, explaining to him what was going on. Nero manages to get out of the warehouse, with a few bumps – physically wrestling several guards to the ground, a full-throttle shoot out, and getting a stab wound in his ribs – and Nero finally makes his way to Fortuna back home. When he gets there his worries about reaching Dante or Dante possibly still being in the warehouse evaporates when he sees Dante consoling Kyrie in their home. They attempt to bring Vergil around, and when they have him out of death’s reach, Dante leaves with a ‘it’s complicated’ answer when Nero asks why he won’t stay until Vergil had fully come to.
17: Adios, Aphrodite.
Dante awakes to find himself inexplicably on an island in the middle of nowhere inhabited by males, and the only female on the chunk of rock is a wayward deity who likes…yaoi. DUN DUN DUN!!! XD
And...I need 8 more plot bunnies. >.<
