okay lets start out this combiner team with its leader : Name Wedge Faction Autobots Subgroup Build Team Function Build Team Leader Motto I’ll shove the bad guys out of the way! Bio The other construction Autobots look to Wedge as their leader, even though he’s still young. He’s a natural leader in the making with his take-charge attitiude and revved-up energy. He can be reckless and make mistakes but will never jeopardize his friends, and is always there to help them. He bulldozes into battle with double beam guns. Tech Specs chart for Wedge. Strength 7 Intelligence 7 Speed 6 Endurance 7 Rank 9 Courage 10 Firepower 7 Skill 6 "Boy genius" Wedge is leader of the Build Team and chief architect and designer of Earth's subterranean Global Space Bridge. He and his team have never once missed a deadline, and are so devoted to their jobs maintaining and expanding the tunnels that they may go prolonged periods of time underground, totally unseen by either Autobots or Decepticons. However, Wedge and his team also feel a need to prove themselves as warriors, which drives Wedge to be somewhat gung-ho about charging into battle. He's the definition of a hot head, and he'll ask to be put into battle at any chance he gets - especially when his pride as a builder and an Autobot are on the line. This can put him in harm's way, and also be somewhat obnoxious to his fellow Autobots, but Optimus Prime believes he can be hardened into a capable warrior. Wedge is the smallest member of the build team and the youngest. He is a master designer and forms the head and chest of landfill the combined form of the Build team. Wedge was given voice by Michael Reisz an American writer and voice actor. He has played a wide variety of voice roles; among his more notable roles are Matt Ishida on Digimon (on which his voice was identical to that of Wedge) and Kevin 11 on Ben 10. He currently writes for Boston Legal He also voiced this character in Robots in Disguise Landfill ..

Because its an epically over used combination in fiction. -headwall- showcase time and its time to haul skidplate! Name Heavy Load Faction Autobots Subgroup Build Team Motto Megatron’s plans will crumble like sand. Bio When Heavy Load bellows, "Let’s haul, Autobots!" he means HAUL! He’s the most powerful of the construction Autobots and has an incredibly thick armor, making him a terrifying sight for any Decepticon unlucky enough to get in his path. He is a martial arts master and moves with graceful strength despite his bulky size. Tech Specs chart for Heavy Load. Strength 9 Intelligence 8 Speed 7 Endurance 10 Rank 7 Courage 10 Firepower 7 Skill 8 Heavy Load is as bulky as his name implies. His thick armor intimidates even the toughest Decepticons, but his bulk does not inhibit his movement. To the contrary, he's studied martial arts and can move as gracefully as the most lithe of Transformers. Heavy Load is the most powerful of the Build Team (not to mention the loudest) and is always quick with a joke. He tends to play mentor to the team's young leader Wedge. Heavy Load can become the arms or a leg of Landfill. Heavy Load was given voice by Daran Norris an American actor and voice actor. He has had a number of prominent roles, including Cosmo and Timmy's Dad on The Fairly OddParents, Durge and Ki-Adi-Mundi on Star Wars: Clone Wars, Spottswoode in Team America: World Police, Jack Smith in American Dad, Wile E. Coyote in The Looney Tunes Show, Batman in DC Super Friends and Belze in God Hand. Up next is a figure whose name confused alot of G1 fans when they first saw the RID figure.

Yeah....no not a good idea. okay time for something green. Name Grimlock Faction Autobots Subgroup Build Team Function Warrior Motto Respect builds great warriors. Bio A seasoned warrior, Grimlock is second in command of the construction Autobots. He looks very harsh but is really calm and upbeat. He works closely with the Construction Team leader to pass on the tactics and experience he has gained in his many battles. He can be counted on to assess every situation and come up with a good plan of action. Tech Specs chart for Grimlock. Strength 8 Intelligence 10 Speed 7 Endurance 9 Rank 7 Courage 10 Firepower 6 Skill 9 Grimlock is the second-in-command of the Build Team, and a seasoned warrior. Though harsh-looking, he is rather calm and upbeat, and is actually the team's best tactician. “Respect builds great warriors. ” —Grimlock's motto This character has nothing to do with G1 Grimlock and is an entirely separate being. That said there was Initial confusion due to the name. Grimlock can become the arms or a leg of Landfill. Grimlock was given voice by Tom Wyner a British-American anime voice actor, producer, director and writer. Wyner has worked on voice actor on numerous anime dubs, video games and live action .

Name Hightower Faction Autobots Subgroup Build Team Motto Stay alert; danger is everywhere. Bio Hightower is an excellent marksmen, storming into battle with a cannon in one fist and a magnum in the other. He likes to make things hot for Megatron with fire weapons and flame throwers. He is very alert to dangerous situations and often guards the Construction Team leader, as well as providing the solid support and advice of a seasoned warrior. Tech Specs chart for Hightower. Strength 8 Intelligence 8 Speed 8 Endurance 8 Rank 7 Courage 10 Firepower 9 Skill 10 Hightower is a member of the Build Team, and their best marksman. Oddly, his particular weapon of choice is the rather imprecise flamethrower. He's a bit of a fanboy to Wedge, acting as both a bodyguard and advisor to the team leader. “ Stay alert; danger is everywhere. ” —Hightower's motto Hightower can for the arms or a leg of Landfill. Hightower was given voice by Keith Anthony an American voice actor. He also provided voices for Barnyard, The Wild, and Osmosis Jones. Up next is the combined forms of the Autobot build team.

indeed. usually Hightower is very careful where he uses his flame thrower, and for good reason his boss ( Optimus prime) Turns into a fire truck! Name Landfill Faction Autobots Subgroup Build Team Function Buildmaster Steel Sovereign ( from Japanese BIO) Bio As Landfill had no official tech spec bio in the US, here is his Japanese bio. Build Boy = Wedge, the robot who forms the center of the combiner. This giant robot is a combination of the four Buildmasters. With his Tornado Fusion System, he has three modes that switch around his limbs while Buildboy remains steady at the center. Hurricane Mode is a superb multi-purpose type formation, balancing offense and defense. Cyclone Mode is a power type form, excelling in close-quarters combat. And Typhoon Mode is his battle type formation, with the highest offensive power. This invincible gestalt robot is born of his components' four good, nature-loving hearts. Tech Specs chart for Landfill. Strength 10 Intelligence 10 Speed 8 Endurance 7 Rank 8 Courage 10 Firepower 10 Skill 10 Landfill is the combined form of the Build Team: Wedge Heavy Load Grimlock Hightower In Japan Landfill is called Build King a name I much prefer. Landfill has three possible configurations, each providing him with different tools on his arms. They were not given official designations in English materials, but in Japan, they had specific monikers based on the character who formed the arms. The modes are: Heavy Load and Hightower as legs, while Grimlock provides arms. This is the most commonly used configuration. Known as "Hurricane Mode", Landfill's Japanese tech specs identify this mode as a multi-purpose form with the perfect balance of offensive and defensive power. Grimlock and Hightower as legs, with Heavy Load as arms. Used in "Sky-Byte Saves the Day". Referred to as "Typhoon Mode", this mode gives Landfill his highest offensive power. Grimlock and Heavy Load as legs, with Hightower as arms. Used in "Galvatron's Revenge" and "The Final Battle". This form, going by "Cyclone Mode", excels in close-quarters combat. The System used for the combining of the build team has never been used on any other mold. All three are shown above in the show case pictures. Landill was given voice by Michael Reisz for more information on him see the RID Wedge Showcase. Interestingly this set was later repainted as Universe 1.0 Constructicon Devastator. here is a pic. : Up next a very different Starscream.

Okay slight change of plans i will be starting the G1 Constructicons today due to the fact i cannot find the pics i took or thought i took of the subject i had planned for my next subject so he will be delayed. now on to the showcase! Name Bonecrusher Faction Decepticons Subgroup Constructicon Function Demolitions Motto Hit it till it stands no taller than dust. Bio Rubble-strewn wasteland is his idea of beautiful landscape. His wild ways create fear and terror. As vehicle, at 30 mph exerts 800,000 psi... has short-range concussion bomb launcher. As robot, carries laser pistol. As left arm module, combines with fellow Constructicons to form giant robot "Devastator". Tech Specs chart for Bonecrusher. Strength 9 Endurance 8 Rank 4 Intelligence 3 Courage 8 Firepower 6 Speed 2 Skill 6 Bonecrusher finds beauty in rubble-strewn wastelands and longs to transform pretty much any location he happens across into one. Moreover, he makes demolition into a wild performance art. He loves to show off his destructive talents for his fellow Decepticons. Deep down, his destruction is really a perfectionism that cannot tolerate anything that he views as flawed, which includes the Autobots. Megatron values the fear and destruction Bonecrusher creates as much as the resources harvested in his wake. Now if he could just refrain from destroying buildings the Decepticons actually need... Bonecrusher was given voice by Neil Ross for more information please see the Pointblank showcase.

very true and now for another kind of perfectionist Name Hook Faction Decepticons Subgroup Constructicon Function Surgical Engineer Motto Strive for perfection even if others must suffer. Bio With precision of a fine jeweler, performs his job with skill unequalled among The Transformers, whether reconnecting a damaged microchip or setting a two ton girder into place. Snobbish, supercilious, unpopular perfectionist. Lifts 20 tons. As shoulders and head module, combines with fellow Constructicons to form giant robot "Devastator". Tech Specs chart for Hook. Strength 8 Intelligence 9 Speed 3 Endurance 6 Rank 4 Courage 6 Firepower 5 Skill 10 The snob of the Constructicons, Hook considers himself an artist. He looks upon the rest of the Decepticons almost as peasants, beneath him to a degree. Though full of himself, Hook is a master craftsman, having truly earned his insufferable ego. His high standards that he holds himself and others to means he takes extra care to ensure even the most simple of jobs is completed to the nth degree of perfection. Although Megatron acknowledges Hook's incredible skill, he gets impatient with the time it takes Hook to finish his work. Hook cannot understand the frustration at the delays this causes, he just sees it as doing the job right. Hook is often pressed into service as the medic of the earth bound Decepticons in the G1 cartoon. Hasbro apparently lost the trademark to the name "Hook" some time ago, as it has not been used since 1993 despite several Constructicon-homage teams appearing after that point. "Hightower" has become the new default crane-bot name. Hook is unique in that while he forms the head of Devastator he is not the team leader. In all other combiner teams the leader forms the head.

very true and now to a Constructicon who wishes he had a different job. Name Long Haul Faction Decepticons Subgroup Constructicon Function Transport Motto A battle front is only as good as its supply line. Bio Unhappy with unglamorous role, but understands its importance... helps build Decepticons' massive energy-recovery installations. As vehicle, can carry 90 tons for 1200 miles, use a dual heat-seeking missile mount. As torso module, combines with fellow Constructicons to form giant robot "Devastator". Can be goaded into fight in which he's overmatched. Tech Specs chart for Long Haul. Strength 9 Intelligence 5 Speed 2 Endurance 9 Rank 4 Courage 8 Firepower 7 Skill 4 The problem, as Long Haul sees it, is that he gets all the work and very little of the excitement and the glory that goes with being a Decepticon. He knows his job is important; he'd just much rather be on the front lines fighting shoulder to shoulder with fellow warriors than moving supplies and building installations to make sure those warriors continue fighting. Long Haul keeps these secret desires to himself though, as he's smart enough to know Megatron is not likely to be sympathetic and has no patience for grunts who question their orders. “ REMOVE! REMOVE! ALWAYS REMOVE! I didn't join this outfit to be a dump truck! ” —Long Haul's unfortunate fate, "City of Steel" Long haul longs to fight on the front lines as a warrior but accepts his role has a transport mech, he hasn’t much Choice as G1 Megatron isn’t likely to give him a change in duty. Long Haul was given voice by Gregg Berger for more information on him please see the G1 Grimlock showcase.
