Aw... I feel sorry for Long Haul. >: Well, someone has to do the job and keep the vital supply lines running. Of course if some Autobots ruin his supply lines, I'm sure it'll give him the perfect opportunity to fight. >D

as do I, and I agree about defensing the supply lines. I always thought perhaps he may have tangled with the wreckers a time or two as they tend to work behind enemy lines often. Name Mixmaster Faction Decepticons Subgroup Constructicon Function Materials Fabrication Motto How strong the steel, how quick the conquest. Bio Nothing is safe from him... will use anything from unliving rock to living robot in making new materials. Uses acids and bonding agents to reduce and recombine almost anything inside mixing drum... a chemistry lab on wheels. As left leg module, combines with fellow Constructicons to form giant robot "Devastator". Tech Specs chart for Mixmaster. Strength 7 Intelligence 6 Speed 3 Endurance 8 Rank 4 Courage 6 Firepower 7 Skill 9 Nothing is safe. From raw ore to living robots, it all goes into Mixmaster's grisly drum where it's reduced, refined, and recombined into virtually any raw material the Decepticons need. Watching Mixmaster prepare a new batch of materials is like seeing some mad alchemist at work, giggling and cackling over his creations with evil glee. It would be a stretch to call him a scientist; a better comparison would be to a witch throwing arcane scraps into her cauldron to complete a bubbling potion. His fellow Decepticons suspect Mixmaster of having a few wires loose in his logic center, but they can't argue with the results. He transforms into Devastator's left leg. “Okay, let's mix up some... eh, H2SO4... with, uh... with HCl... with, uh... I know! I'll combine some of each of the stronger acids!Mixmaster, "Heavy Metal War" The hose/gun/cannon/thingy that Mixmaster uses to spray whatever is in his mixing drum at the time often changed its shape during the G1 cartoon. In his first appearance alone, it changed three times. A common misconception is that Mixmaster has a speech quirk, where he repeats all or part of a word for no reason. Fictionally however, this has only for certain shown up in "City of Steel". In "The Master Builders", he spoke once in a similar fashion, but rather than repeat part of a word, he repeated the full, short sentence. Mixmaster was given voice by Frank welker for more information please see the G1 Soundwave showcase.

Evil, crazy chemistry bot at its finest. XD Hm... I think I can see him working with Enz a little. XD But then Enz might end up tying him up in vines as he steals the formulas. XD

I have no doubt but then Zen would come and drag his wayward brother home. Okay showcase time! today is a construction who could use a hug. Name Scavenger Faction Decepticons Subgroup Constructicon Function Mining & Salvage Motto Everything is worth something, even me. Bio Desperately tries to prove his worth to comrades by trying to find things of value - whether by digging up hillside or a backyard. Only tolerated by Megatron because of ability to use shovel's magnetic, ionic, electrical, gas sensors to detect presence of fuels, metals, etc. As right arm module, combines with fellow Constructicons to form giant robot "Devastator". Tech Specs chart for Scavenger. Strength 7 Intelligence 2 Speed 3 Endurance 6 Rank 4 Courage 8 Firepower 6 Skill 7 "C'mon guys, wait up..." You can't help but feel sorry for Scavenger. He wants so badly to be liked and needed, to feel like a useful and valuable member of his team. His self esteem is so low he'd do just about anything to get the approval of the others, but his simpering, doting eagerness to please just reinforces the other Decepticons' opinion of him as a worthless loser. He's constantly excavating everywhere he goes in the attempt to find something of worth to please everyone and prove his value, but it's invariably just some piece of garbage or scrap he excitedly finds, and that just reinforces their opinion of his worthlessness once again. If it wasn't for his shovel's unique ability to detect needed materials, Megatron and the others would likely have dumped the poor scrub long ago. Scavenger’s shovel has a wide array of sensors in it and it can detect a wide variety of objects and substances. Scavenger was given voice by late and legendary Donald Messick (September 7, 1926–October 24, 1997) He is best known for providing the voice of countless Hanna-Barbera characters for decades, notably Scooby-Doo, Yogi Bear's pal Boo Boo, Astro on The Jetsons, Bamm Bamm and Hoppy on The Flintstones, Dr. Benton Quest on Jonny Quest, and an endless array of non-verbal dogs, cats, camels, donkeys, amorphous blobs, and other beings, before Frank Welker cornered the market. He made a rare on-camera appearance on the short-lived sitcom The Duck Factory with Jim Carrey, where he stretched his thespian talents to play Wally Wooster, an eccentric who made his living as... a voice actor. He also voiced these G1 Transformers: Gears Ratchet

okay time for the leader of the Constructicons. Name Scrapper Faction Decepticons Subgroup Constructicon Function Construction Engineer Motto My work is a monument to - and of - my enemies. Bio A wizard at designing fortresses and energy plants, but modest. Shows his true malevolent genius by incorporating defeated Autobots into his buildings' structures. Shovel can slice through 12 in. thick carbon-steel, lift 30 tons. As right leg and part of torso, combines with fellow Constructicons to form giant robot "Devastator". Tech Specs chart for Scrapper. Strength 8 Intelligence 8 Speed 4 Endurance 7 Rank 5 Courage 5 Firepower 3 Skill 9 Scrapper is the engineer of the Constructicons. While the other Constructicons put their masterpieces together, Scrapper is the one who designs everything for them. Though his designs are among the best in Transformer history, Scrapper is a modest Decepticon who quickly shrugs off the praise he receives. In that respect he is the polar-opposite of his frequent second in command, Hook, who is an egomaniacal glory-hound. Though modest, Scrapper is still a total nutcase. One of his favorite artistic liberties with his designs involves taking living Autobots and using them as raw materials. This vicious act is something Megatron finds admirable, as he considers Scrapper the most valuable of the Constructicons. The Generation 1 cartoon series bible contains a description of Scrapper typed with the name "Gravedigger", then crossed out by hand and rewritten "Scrapper". This name would actually appear in fiction, though applied to a different Constructicon. "Payload" was another name considered for Scrapper at one point. As noted above, Scrapper's original toy has a third mode called "Attack Payloader", formed by sticking the purple "Super Wing" that forms Devastator's chestplate on top of Scrapper's payloader mode. As his Marvel Universe entry notes, this allows him to fly at 60 mph over a range of 250 miles, although Scrapper has yet to use this ability in fiction. Despite being the (nominal) leader of the Constructicons, Scrapper forms one of Devastator's legs, rather than his head and/or body. This contradicts the pattern established with most subsequent Transformers combining teams. In recent years, toys sporting the name "Scrapper" require an additional "Decepticon" prefix for trademark reasons, hence making the official name "Decepticon Scrapper". It is of note that on many loose vintage examples of Scrapper his canopy is missing. Scrapper was given voice by Michael Bell for more information on him please see the Insecticons Showcase. Up Next the unstoppable force that is Devastator.

Ah, his modesty hides his darker nature. Now if only he could have used the Wreckers. >D And let's add Drift because that bastard needs to be off. Hm... I'm thinking of something like Han Solo when you mentioned incorporating Autobots in his buildings. XD

It time for something big mean and green and no its not the Hulk. Name Devastator Faction Decepticons Subgroup Constructicon Function Warrior Motto Thinking and winning do not mix. Bio Awesome and terrifying, this Decepticon is a bizarre combination of six Constructicons: Scrapper, Scavenger, Bonecrusher, Hook, Long Haul and Mixmaster. Pure brutality - sole purpose is to crush all in his path. His mind is a melding together of his 6 parts, but limited by their competing thoughts. Enormous height, incredible strength - can knock down a bridge with one punch. Has 10,000 degrees Celcius solar energy beam rifle. Slow, awkward, not too bright. Tech Specs chart for Devastator. Strength 10 Intelligence 2 Speed 1 Endurance 9 Rank 6 Courage 10 Firepower 8 Skill 4 Devastator is an immensely powerful warrior, and in that sense the combination of the Constructicons into a merged being is a huge success. Mentally, on the other hand, he's very much less than the sum of his parts. Devastator's primitive psyche is limited to only the thoughts and actions on which all his components can agree, which results in raging bouts of destructive fury. Given the sheer power Devastator brings to these rages, Megatron has no complaints. As an Action Master, he is partnered with Scorpulator. see pic below: He is composed of the six robots... Scrapper (Leader) – Right Leg Hook – Upper Body Bonecrusher– Left Arm Long Haul – Lower Body Mixmaster – Left Leg Scavenger – Right Arm In the G1 Cartoon he is the first Combiner and he was the first in toy form as well, and as such we was very much a prototype for the technology. Devastator is dumb and I don’t just mean dumb, I mean a toaster might be smarter, this is caused by the confusion of the 6 minds of the constructions combining into a hive mind and it did not work very well and despite the Constructicons average intelligence score of 5.5 Devastator’s intelligence plummets to a 2 and just barely that in my opinion. This remained an issue for all combiner teams and was dealt with in a variety of ways to overcome it. The Constructicons are the source of the worst continuity headache in G1 and perhaps in all of Transformers, In the Season 2 episode The Secret of Omega supreme Megatron is shown to use his Robo smasher to reprogram the peaceful Constructicons to serve him. In the fourth part of the 5 episode season 3 opener The Five Faces of Darkness the Constructicons are shown Building Megatron . O.o Don’t think on it too much it will cause migraines XD My personal take on it is that the Constructicons Built or rather modified Megatron to better lead his troops in his uprising but later when he began to tread the dark path they broke ranks with him and went back to building things like Crystal city on Cybertron, later Megatron used the Robosmasher to bring them back into the fold. Despite Combiner technology having improved considerably Megatron refuses to reconfigure the Constructicons fearing that Devastator will lose his awesome power. Back in 1985 these figures were the toy every boy wanted and they were nearly impossible to find around Christmas time despite being one of most produced combiners in the G1 Era. The Constructicons were sold as a gift set and as individual figures with the combining parts divided amongst the six team members something the Constructicons share with only the Predacons as all of the Scramble city type combiners had allthe combining parts packed in with the team leader. The Constructicons are the most knocked off Transformers bar none and there trademark color scheme has also been used on a ton of toys. Only the Barbie doll rivals the Constructicons as the most knocked off toy ever. • The Generation 1 cartoon series bible contains two descriptions of each Constructicon, and half of them were typed referring to their combined form as "The Destructoid". This was then crossed out by hand, with "Devastator" written above. • Devastator had two different character models in the original Transformers cartoon; at the least, he had two different head designs, one with a visor and one without. Sometimes his head would change designs within a single episode—the "visorless" look is how he appeared for the majority of "Heavy Metal War", but he appears with his visor on in a few shots. While both head designs would continue to be used (almost at random) in subsequent episodes, the visored design was used for his dramatic scene in The Transformers: The Movie, and thus seems to have "won out"; it appears on all modern Devastator merchandise. There were 3 colors of Devastator produced in G1/G2. Green, Yellow and Orange see the yellow and orange versions below. The Molds for the Constructicons were long thought lost or destroyed as they were not released again after the G2 era ( 1993 to be specific), until late 2009 rumors began to circulate around Transformer fan sites about a reissue then it was officially announced in January of 2010 and it has since come out that all new molds were created for this release. Devastator was given voice by Arthur Napier Burghardt an American stage, film and voice actor. He appeared in his first play at 9 years old. Among the roles he is best known among fans of cartoon animation are playing Destro and Stalker on G.I. Joe, and Turbo on Challenge of the GoBots. He also played Dr. Jack Scott on One Life to Live, Venom in Ultimate Spider-Man, Principal Pussman in "Bone Chillers" and mentor-to-superheroic-Mexican-wrestlers Laurant on Los Luchadores. He also has an EMMY for "OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE BY AN ACTOR" in 1976 for a televised summary of his one-man stage performance about Frederick Douglass. While he continues to perform and write, he has also become a producer of film and television and sometimes meets with his fans to discuss his roles and the evocation and creation of character in performance.

He might be the most loved, and bought, Transformers character aside from Optimus Prime. XD Poor Devastator, if only his intelligence blasted way past 10, imagine the wonders he could do. Maybe even off Megatron and take over the Decepticons and lead. XD Hm... my theory is that Megatron probably controlled them first and then they rebuilt him after receiving severe damage from a battle. But your theory is also rational. :3

Very true and your theory has one issue , the form Megatron is shown in when he uses the robosmasher on the Constructicon is the one they build him in to.
anyways up next is a Starscream of a different kind then at long last animated figures!

Name Starscream Faction Decepticons Function Pursuit and Capture Motto Conquest is made of the ashes of one's enemies. Bio Starscream is ruthless, cold-blooded, and cruel, yet considers himself the smartest, most sophisticated Decepticon of all. He believes Decepticons should rely more on guile and speed rather than brute force to defeat the Autobots. He's a powerful air commander who can reach speeds of mach 2.8 at an altitude of 52 miles, even while flying heavily armed with his heat seeking, air-to-air missiles. Tech Specs chart for Starscream. Strength 7 Intelligence 7 Speed 9 Endurance 7 Rank 5 Courage 8 Firepower 7 Skill 7 Machine wars Starscream is considered to be G1 Starscream in a new body, the generally accepted story is that Starscream’s immortal spark found a lifeless but functional enough body to possess and later repaired it/himself to full functionality. Machine wars its self was an experimental toy line sold exclusively through the now defunct Kaybee toy stores to explore the possibility of bringing back vehicular Transformers. The Line consisted of 4 smaller figures that were from molds for cancelled G2 toys and 4 larger figures that were made from molds for late G1 European exclusive figures. There is no media to back up this toy line other than the character Bios. In the case of Starscream he is a repaint of G1 Skyquake ( See picture below), a figure which suffered from a horrible condition known as Gold Plastic Syndrome or GPS. Which is caused by the crumbling of a type of gold and bronze plastic with a metallic swirl that Hasbro and Takara used to use that became brittle to the point of breaking and or crumbling in as little as 5 years. Even though the use of the plastic responsible stopped years ago the sight of gold plastic on a new figure brings worries to collectors. here is a video showing the horror of GPS. Starscream having no Gold plastic obviously doesn’t suffer from the debilitating condition. It has been speculated that Machine Wars would not have existed if not for a slip of the tongue at BotCon 1996. At the time, Beast Wars was in full effect, but Hasbro representative Anthony Gaud reportedly told a BotCon audience, in detail, that Hasbro was going to launch a Generation 1 revival as well, which naturally brought a LOT of excitement to the fandom. When the lackluster Machine Wars appeared the following year, with virtually none of the details mentioned coming to pass, some fans surmised that Hasbro had scrapped any true revival plans, but still felt the need to follow through on Gaud's remarks.
