Otherwise known as the TPA, this police agency is the only one throughout the entire city of Tipperary--the rest have been run out of business. This one, however, hasn't, for the sole reason that those in charge have been bought out by underground crimelords and mafia. There are still a few members of the agency with a little hope for the future--a few fresh new faces who want to make Tipperary a good place to live and have yet to be corrupted, and a few stubborn older members who refuse to give up their ideals for any amount of cash. Their determination has yet to pay off. The agency is connected to Tipperary's Charity Hospital next door due to the number of high-profile criminals that end up there in Ward A; the police have to accompany doctors and nurses into the rooms there. Between the two establishments is a cafe that the two establishments share, since many of the workers in both quite often end up being forced to pull all-nighters. “What the hell did you do to my portal?”
The female pirate who just entered the police station dropped the man she was dragging by his collar unceremoniously on the floor. She didn’t give him a chance to catch his breath before she grabbed him up by his collar.
“It wasn’t supposed to come here!”
The blue haired female was hardly aware the stares she was getting. It never dawned on her that having a portable cannon strapped to her back wasn’t the smartest idea when entering such a place. She had far too much to stress over. First there was Karimi who was missing. Second there’s the issue of her seemingly broken portal.

At the sudden commotion, Matsu sprung out of his sleepy daze. A stack of papers fell out of his lap, and the pen in his hand managed to leap away from him and land, point first, in the middle of his forehead. It stung, as did the snickers of the other officers around the front lobby, but pain and humiliation could wait. He gathered up the papers quickly and, yawning a little, watched the pirates that had just entered through the portal.
"Me? Why would I? You know what I think of cop-sorts!" The male pirate paused at this, and looked around him, it clicking quite suddenly in his head that they were surrounded by cops. He offered an awkward laugh. "You know," he went on, laughing a little more. "Of how they're wonderful people with whom I have absolutely no problems. Some of my best friends are cops, I tell you."
Matsu squinted. Was that...
"Janx?"
Said pirate whipped his head around, still in the clutches of his livid companion. He grinned at Matsu, and pointed at him, addressing everyone again. "See? I wasn't lying. I know him!"
It was Janx. Matsu sighed--as though he didn't already have a bad enough reputation around the agency...though that was more because he was a goody-two-shoes. Perhaps knowing a pirate would improve his status?

“Yeah right,” Gigi snorted. “And we were cussing about them black hearted bitches over rum the other day.”
Something clicked in her mind. She made a silent "oh". Her azure eyes flicked round the room. Her glare deepened the more she looked. Some of the police were standing closer than she liked. Approaching them she bet.
“Come closer to my baby and I’ll blow your head off!” She threatened loudly, making a couple of them jump back.
“And you!” Her finger pointed straight at Matsu. “Are you Janx-y’s friend?”
Her frown evaporated almost immediately and was replaced with a sunny smile. “Tell me we aren’t that far from the alley … please.”
She bent down and pretended to dust imaginary dust off her pink frilly mini skirt. She removed her tricorne and patted her hair slowly trying to locate the little imp. There was absolutely no telling where Karimi could be. She certainly hoped the little guy can find the girl. She stopped in mid pat. A buzzing sound distracted her.
“What’s that sound?” The female pirate looked round warily. It was pretty obvious that she wasn’t familiar with handphones.

Matsu frowned at the blue-haired woman curiously as she took off her hat; a tiny creature leaped out of it and scurried up into her hair, glancing around the room furtively itself. It looked vaguely familiar...that girl that Janx babysat all the time had one, if he wasn't mistaken. "Er...which alley?" he asked her. "Half of Tipperary is alleys."
The woman's slight panic when his phone went off made him panic a little, scrambling to pull it out of his pocket and then nearly dropping it on the floor; that would have been beautiful, breaking his handphone and having to buy a new one on the abysmal wages he was paid in this dump. Mumbling a slightly embarrassed apology to the startled pirate, he checked for new texts, and found one.
'Matsu, dinner at Lugi's? Coming? Could drop by with a slice. Found a girl. Think her name is Karimi. Think she's lost.'
His brow furrowed, and he looked up slowly at Janx. "Hey...aren't you supposed to be with Karimi?"
Janx became alert quickly and hurried over to the counter so quickly that Matsu moved his chair back a little, startled. "Youknowwheresheis?" he demanded immediately.
"Er...I-I guess she's probably near Lugi's Pizza, my friend Ruc says he found a lost girl called Karimi and that's where they're headed--"
"HA!" Janx proclaimed loudly, making Matsu jump again in surprise; then once more when the pirate leapt across the desk and hugged him in a rather rib-crushing manner. "You have just saved my life, friend." Matsu winced in pain and was left hugging his own ribs when Janx stood back again. "As thanks, we will be going drinking later, my treat."
"But I don't drink--"
"You do now, mate." He was clapped on the shoulder one last time before Janx hopped back to the other side of the counter again. Wincing, Matsu sat down and pulled out his phone to text Ruc back.
'Can't come, work. Have to take meal breaks here. You can probably stop by, but they might kick you out for loitering.... I know the girl, though. Her...guardian, I guess, is coming to get her.'
He sent the text and pocketed the phone once more.
