When the black tower Barad-dur was destroyed by the forces of middle-earth the force of the explosion caused a large shard to land in the world of the muses. However an inhabitant of the tower still remains.
Lungorthin is a young balrog (only 999 years old) that survived the explosion and has now converted the shard into his own personal pad. The tower still exudes some sense of fear but Lungorthin has added a game room and other such entertainment, and now holds regular parties. Lungorthin takes on human form as to not frighten off his guests (Nazgul not included).
