Frequently Asked Questions
Q) What is Temecula?
A) Temecula is a fantasy based RP, with a bit of sci-fi mixed in. It is set in the world of Temecula, a realm of swords and sorcery. There are more than one race living on it and regions galore for your characters to explore and interact. Temecula itself was inspired by the Fire Emblem and Transformers fandom and will have some elements from both fandoms integrated into this RP. The other concepts of Temecula are completely original and will soon be thought up by those who contribute in the discussion and development of it.
Q) How does the Temecula RP work?
A) As of now, the mechanism of the RP is fairly simple. Posts are description and text based. There are no complex battle systems and calculations that you would typically find in a table-top RPG game. However, Temecula will have an interesting spatial feature. It’s nothing complex; it simply allows your character to move about the regions of Temecula via the RP threads, once we set them up.
Q) If there is no battle system; will we still be able to fight, and how?
A) Yes, battles will be a prominent element in the Temecula RP. On how these battles will work, we are putting our trust on you and hope that every player will play fairly and realistically. If without any reasonable doubt your character can’t dodge or block an attack, there is no shame it simple saying they got hit. We want the fight scenes of this RP to be exciting, but we don’t want them to spoil or drag on forever.
Q) How long will the Temecula RP span?
A) It is projected that the Temecula RP will span over a couple of arcs, each arch/chapter will revolve around a person’s character or an issue threatening a region of Temecula. There will be many plots to play, but you don’t have to join all of them. We are giving you a choice of whether or not you want to join in an arc.
