My notes so far are this:
snakes
dragon
spiders
the forest - vines, trees, bogs, carnivorous plants
wolves
centaurs
bower bird man
spirits
... so I need to actually weave that into a story, and reorder it all, and somehow make it mean that the princesses work out what's really going on, and that there is some actual characterisation... -sigh-

For some reason I had a strange idea that the monsters and beasts of the forest were the princess' servants, cursed and transformed by whoever put away the princess.

It's a good idea, but it wouldn't work here, since they were never really princesses =) I spent all evening doing some research and serious thinking, and I now have the names of the princes' fathers, what they each call the forest and mountains, a whole load more creatures, and the idea that the princesses interacted with the spirits and werewolves etc of the forest as they grew up (because I've always wondered how they grew to be balanced human beings with only the contact of their 'mother') XD

That's alright =) There are two supposed princesses, who are really just peasant girls the witch has taken and made to believe that they are princesses. And their names are Lavayne and Eirian. There are two princes too, Emred and Jasper.

I'm good thankyou, a little tired (actually very tired) and frustrated since my dad's working a stupid night shift, which screws up our whole schedules, but I mocked up some patterns for shirts I made and they seem to be going ok, which is good! XD

Other than that, came back from my speech retreat and we did a lot of work while staying at a beach house. XD The sea was tempting us. XP

He's a rocket scientist (yes, I know) and he tests the engines for correcting the orbits of satellites (not so exciting now you know what it is... XP) They needed to meet a deadline, so they needed to be testing constantly, but the engine's now broken, so no more night shifts! And no, I'm making the shirts themselves, I usually buy patterns for clothes but I decided to have a go at designing myself XD
Aww, I'm sure no one minded! They probably wished they were asleep too =)
Oh, I am so jealous of your proximity to the sea - we're about as far as you can get inland in the UK... how was the speech retreat? I forgot to ask... -is a bad friend =P-
