The Royal Knights of Destron are those who are dedicated to the safety and protection of the Royal Family. The majority of them consisted of members of the Royal Line, those of the same race as the Prince and Princess, but membership is open to everyone regardless of race and sex. It is considered a great honor and aspiration of many to be on of the Royal Knights.
The members of the Royal Knights ranged from swordmasters to great mages, all of them famous for their incredible skills in the art of combat and magic. Some of them are generals and commanders of the army of Destron.
Today, the members of the Royal Knight have dwindled greatly as many of them have sacrificed themselves to defend the kingdom’s borders during the previous war.

Name: Earthshock Known As: General Earthshock, Sir Earthshock, Sir, Milord, and my Lord Class: Axe General Weapon Proficiency: Axes and hammers Weapon(s) of Choice: A hammer named Judgment (or Judgement, depends on the English). Appearance: He looks like Tauroneo from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn except, like Skipbeat, should appear more robotic and less organic. PersonalityEarthshock is noted for his unfathomable patience and ability to stay even-headed when in the middle of chaos or being aggravated. Years of experience has taught him that blind rage can often lead to one’s downfall in the field of battle. He does not tolerate injustice and people preying on the weak, but is willing to be merciful to wrongdoers. FamilyLike with the other members of the Royal Line, they are close with one another. The younger members of the Royal Line see him as a father figure. He is married to one of the Royal Knights, Galestorm. The pair was meant to have children, but it was soon found out that Galestorm was unable to bear any. This caused the couple much grief for the years to follow; however, they grew closer as a result with Earthshock providing a strong shoulder for his wife to cry on. HistoryEarthshock is the oldest of the four surviving Royal Knights and was born some years before the previous war that took the lives of the late king and queen of the kingdom. When the kingdom came under attack, Earthshock gladly put on his armor to defend his homeland. His parents soon perished in battle, along with the parents of the other four Royal Knights as time went on. Victory was soon achieved, but not without the cost of countless lives of their kind. Upon hearing the news of the falling of the king and queen, Earthshock, along with the last three Royal Knight, passed the news to the young heirs with heavy hearts. After the war, Earthshock, with the surviving Royal Knights, vowed to keep the young Prince and Princess safe from harm and to train them to defend themselves, if the need arose, in the name of the late king and queen.

Name: Heatwave Known As: General Heatwave, Lady Heatwave, Milady, and my Lady Class: Swordmistress Weapon Proficiency: Swords Weapon(s) of Choice: A sword named Durendal. Appearance: She looks like Mia from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn, but slightly older and, like all the members of the Royal Line, has robotic and mechanical features and no hair. PersonalityYoungest of the four Royal Knights, the spirit of her youth burns brightly. She is optimistic by nature and fiery in the field of battle. In times of despair and sorrow, she is the only one who will remain looking toward a brighter future. She is confident in her swordsmanship and willing to teach others her tricks and trades. FamilyYounger sister of Galestorm, the two of them a very close, especially during those dark times when her older sister despaired over the children she would never have because of her own defect. Like with the younger members of the Royal Line, she views Earthshock as a fatherly figure. Aside from Galestorm, Heatwave sees the Princess as a younger sister, and so trusts her with some of her secrets. Other than that, she is Skipbeat’s personal trainer of the blades and is elated to find the Prince a fast-learner. There is some indications that her relationship with Coldsnap runs much deeper than just veterans and comrades in arms. HistoryHeatwave was born a few years before the recent war of the kingdom broke out. Because of her young age, she was kept confined inside the castle walls as the war raged. Discontent with her idle and useless way of life, Heatwave enlisted herself into the kingdom’s army and began her training as a Royal Knight. Though her training was rather rushed, she learned quickly out in the battlefield and managed to steel her brash tendencies. Rather than despair upon hearing the death of her parents, Heatwave never lost her fervor to defend her homeland as she fought against her enemies with a newfound flame. However, the death of the late king and queen of the kingdom gave her pause as she joined the remaining Royal Knights to pass the heart wrenching news to the Prince and Princess. Like with the other three Knights, Heatwave swore to ensure the safety of the young heirs by training the Prince in the arts of the blade.

Name: Galestorm Known As: General Galestorm, Lady Galestorm, Milady, and my Lady Class: Halberdier Weapon Proficiency: Lances Weapon(s) of Choice A lance named Gungnir. Appearance: She looks like Nephenee from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn. However, like Skipbeat and the other Royal Knights, she is a robot made of metal. With Nephenee’s armor design and facial expression, you can still picture her. PersonalitySoft-spoken and compassionate are two things many people will note of Galestorm. She is loved by all her subordinates for her kindness and tender way of supporting all of those she trains. However, her soft exterior belittles her inner vigor. She can be very passionate about mothering others, especially the young Prince and Princess. She does not take kindly to those who mean harm to the Royal Line and those she keeps close to her heart. FamilyOlder sister of Heatwave, Galestorm acted not only as her younger sister’s older, but also tender and loving caretaker when their parents perished in battle. Likewise, Heatwave comforted her older sister when they discovered that Galestorm was unable to bear children. She is the wife of Earthshock and both of them were made closer during those times Galestorm mourned over the children she would never have. Although she is friendly with many, she often finds herself disagreeing and butting heads against Coldsnap when it comes down to how one should treat subordinates. HistoryHaving been born some years before the start of the previous war, Galestorm live the last few years of peace training to become a Royal Knight. Her skills were soon put to the test as she travelled with the army to defend the borders of their homeland. Her comrades sought to her for comfort after every battle they fought as she helped ease the nerves of new and inexperience recruits with her tender heart. When her parents perished, she, like her younger sister, remained strong for one another as they pulled through the war. The news of the king’s and queen’s passing struck a chord in Galestorm as she joined the surviving Royal Knights to pass the news to the Prince and Princess. From there, she adopted a protective nature over the young heirs. After the discovery of her infertility, a motherly character soon grew in her, possibly a product of her desire to have children of her own.

Name: Coldsnap Known As: General Coldsnap, Sir Coldsnap, Sir, Milord, my Lord, and That Guy Who Always Acts Like He’s Got Something Shoved Up His- Class: Sniper Weapon Proficiency: Bows Weapon(s) of Choice: His custom bow. Appearance: He looks like Shinon from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn. Like with all members of the Royal Line, Coldsnap is a robot as well, his facial expression and body language is a bit of a basis for his appearance. Sorry for not putting as much details for you guys. >< PersonalityOf all four of the Royal Knights, Coldsnap certainly lives up to his name. A heart as hard as a diamond and a frosty character to boot, Coldsnap is not the friendliest of the Royal Knights you’ll ever meet. Almost a polar opposite of the gentle Galestorm, Coldsnap is feared by all his subordinates for his harshness and strict training regime. He has quite a reputation among the kingdom’s army for doling out the harshest punishments on misbehaving soldiers. Along with that, Coldsnap does not open easily to strangers and newcomers, regarding all of them with suspicion. Hardly anyone has seen him crack a smile, ever. FamilySecond youngest of the Royal Knights, with Earthshock and Galestorm being older (the latter being slightly older than him by a couple of years) and Heatwave being the youngest, they, along with the young Prince and Princess, are the only people he regards with respect and love. With Earthshock, he appreciates the aged general’s immeasurable composure. Although he and Galestorm often disagree when it comes down to how a superior should treat and train their subordinates, Coldsnap knows when to put aside his pride, especially when it comes to Galestorm’s inner sorrow. Between him and the young heirs, he holds a strong passion to protect them from any potential harm. His relationship with Heatwave is… rather interesting. Yet, no one knows what it is except the two of them and they’re keeping very tight-lipped about it. Even though it is claimed that Coldsnap never smiles, nor knows any other emotion aside from contempt, the members of the Royal Line would say differently. HistoryColdsnap was never like what he is now. Before the war, he was a rather shy, but content, youth. Though he trained himself in the art of marksmanship, he would never imagine himself using it on others. Came the war and his entire life was overturned. Coldsnap soon found himself part of a regiment of archers led by his father. As the war progressed, Coldsnap fell into a state of despair as he killed many with his own bow and became unwilling to fire a single arrow. His reluctance often resulted in misfires and poorly aimed shots that would extend the suffering of his enemies. He soon hurdled himself over that obstacle as he aimed to fell his enemies with a single clean shot, hoping that they wouldn’t feel any pain when his arrows struck them. The death of his father, before his very eyes, was the final straw that broke him. His mother had already perished in an earlier battle and he prayed that his father would survive, but that would never come. With his father dying in his arms, Coldsnap took up his father’s bow and regiment, following the last words of his father, and brought a swift victory. After that traumatizing event, Coldsnap soon became indifferent and distant to everyone. After the war, the sniper upheld his promise to his late father by ensuring the safety of the Prince and Princess.
