No one's quite sure what's behind this door. The room changes everytime someone enters. There's a poker game at least once a week, though the stakes are pretty high. And the room's master always is looking forward to new players.
Marcus is the shadow man you hope to meet here. He'll treat you nice unless he doesn't like you. And he'll only start up a game if you ask for it.
Verin, however, is not so nice. He rarely has control over the room, but when he does you better hope you're not there. The games are high stakes. Winner take all. It doesn't matter who you are or what you'd like to do, it's up to him.
So, want to play a game?

-leans on door frame-
I've been sent here to collect information for Phoenix (who's busy drinking himself under the table ><)
I second Basil, what kind of game do you have in mind?

^.^; Could be a possible small scale version of the Game played in SW? Maybe with a puzzle thrown in as well? -wonders if that is a possible permutation- Since we have a smaller group this time round.
-wonders if others had a different idea in mind when they mentioned game-

-waves back at Rae slightly less enthusiastically- -wonders what a drunk muse will do to her writing-
Personally I think playing a board game in an RP could get tedious, especially if no one wants to write a post of their character jumping up and down going 'I've solved it; it's this' in case that's completely not what the others had in mind. But then I guess that's what this thread's for...
I think the format for SW was great 'cause everyone got a go at being in charge. Maybe there could be little trials that play to each character's strengths, like with the series of rooms in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

*thinks drunk muses make writing more interesting* >_>
Well...the only thing about doing it like SW is that the trials were fears...and, also, that time around Marcus was aiming to kill. There's no real safe way to do it...unless it was like a treasure hunt, then it'd be safer. But...dunno. :S Marcus doesn't wanna kill anyone or harm anyone this time. *really needs to stop thinking about mazes*
*waves* 'Lo...do I get a say in this? *is glared at**snickers at his writer*

=D *waves* Hi Marcus!
Why not? -would like to hear what he has to say-
o.O Mazes? -misses mazes for some strange reason-

A maze would be good!
And just to clarify what I suggested earlier, these trials wouldn't be life or death. I was just thinking that the characters took it in turns to be in charge of solving it... -slinks away-

I wanted to do a maze...since Rae keeps thinking nonstop about them. But maybe...maybe have different trials where you gotta find things? *whispers* Like a trial of logic and a trial of skill, etc. *pokes his writer with cake* And we could work it into whatever Anna wanted to talk about?
EDIT: @eli: Oh, okay. ^^; *fails at reading things properly*

=D That sounds like fun! -thinks designing mazes will be neat- -wonders how many they can come up with-
>.< *knows what Anna wants to talk about*

*agrees**wonders what it should be like* Cr@p...mazes make me think of Labyrinth. *headwalls**makes herself stop thinking about it* >_< Maybe...a circular maze? What does she wanna talk about?

XD Hedges or walls? -trying to imagine-
I don't mind a circular maze. Will we be focusing on one maze with many puzzles inside? Or different mazes?
=3 You'll see? -likes surprises-

Haha! This really is Labyrinthine. But what's wrong with that? so long as there isn't a goblin king at the centre.... -stops herself daydreaming about Jareth- Hedges... thinking about Harry Potter again. XXD

Mmm...goblin kings.... *smacked out of her daydreaming by a suddenly grumpy shadow man*
XD Hedges sound nice...or...maybe hedges and walls? >_> Like walls around the outside and in the center and hedges everywhere else? *thinks it would be prettiful*
