*ponders that* Maybe that should be the trial? We have to get him to listen and then tell the truth about whatever we're asking?
Ah. ._.
=D I like random trials. :3

Basil salted the snail! I was there! I remember!
Anyway...
Maybe they should be based on the characters fears but minor and not deadly fears rather than the other more terrifying ones. Maye someone's scared of bugs (perfectly understandable *watched Temple of Doom today* *shudders*) and Harvey was brought in to help (so proud I got to name the earwig) but he doesn't always go along with the whole 'actually terrifying' thing.
Did that make sense to anybody?

>.< Caught!
Darn... I should have disposed of the shell when I had the chance!
=P Sorta. *wonders what the rest think* *mind blank at the moment*
Minor fears... o.o *wonders how different that experience will be*
=/ Different set of reactions, I guess.

I guess that would have the added thing of the other characters making fun of the tested person's irrational fear. So would these be phobias?
How minor would the fear be?

I still think it's a bad idea to do fears. But if that's what you guys wanna do, then alright...I guess we can risk it. *also wonders how minor it would be*

*agrees about how minor they will be* ~.~ I still am not too sure what will be considered a minor fear!
=/ Isn't fear just fear? *feeling silly at the moment*
Btw... Rae, in the series, were there other variations besides fear? =P *curious*

Er...I think fear is just fear. :/ Though...I know there are things that aren't as scary to people as other things. Like...someone could be a little scared of spiders, buut terrified of the dark.
Not really, everything was based on fears...except for bits from the last game. Hmm...I'm about the reread the books so I'll say if it's different later. :/

To clarify I wasn't really talking about levels of fear but what's deadly and what's not. So a fear of spiders could be deadly (giant spiders! *shudder*) while a fear of, say, cotton candy, might be funny.
Although I guess you could drown in it...Tasty...

LOL Drowning in cotton candy...or chocolate...or marshmallows...yum.... *tries not to drool**giggling at Marcus' freaking out about bugs and spiders* Yeah, that would be safe, really. We could intermix innocent things like that and more serious things and they would balance each other out.... If that's alright with y'all?

I think that's a great idea, Rae. And I don't think we should give too many or it'll get boring. After all, we can always find out more if we run out before we want to end the thread.
Haha! I know exactly how I'll get the info out of Phoenix. -drums fingers on a copy of LotR-
And Happy New Year, I guess. technically 2011 is the first year of the second 2000s decade so yeah.

XD Poor Phoenix! Joining the thread soon, Eli?
o.O That fast! *still in the new millennium mood* I wonder what it'll be like in 2090. Will they be interviewing those born on January 1 2000? That'll be an interesting interview...

What do you mean 'poor'? He's the one who wants to read it. And I have -sweatdrops- Didn't realise it had got so far.
Seriously? I barely remember it. But I still think the 60's started 40 years ago /fail.
