@raven: I KNOW!! It SUCKS!!!! I hate trying to find his stuff. Guess that's why I've never seen Cat Returns. Or Totoro for a long time. I so want to see his stuff on the big screen! *dies* Rae: Spirited away is a good one, and one of his lesser known ones in america. The others are good as well, and I hope you will be able to see them. @frappe: Ah yes, the male characters can be quite hansom~ X3 The females are pretty too, and they're usually tough as nails or have interesting, and strong, personalities. It's quite fun, Hayao's characters. ^.^

shezu: Sorry for the late reply. Lol these few days are out of whack so to speak. Yeah the book was enjoyable. =) It was quite different because the Witch of the Waste remain the main villain if I'm not wrong. Howl's mentor/teacher was actually killed by the witch. =P Erm... not sure how much more to say without giving spoilers. @rae: ^^ How did you get to know about Spirited Away? It's my favorite too. Lol... I got to know about it through Spirited Away themed poker cards. @.@ Ponyo was okay. =/ I didn't like it honestly speaking. It was anti climatic though I enjoyed listening to the songs. *ducks* *worried about being splattered with tomatoes*

@basil: That's good, enough that I'm interested, and not too much that I think I already know all the surprises. ^.^
*puts tomatoes away* No worries. The whole reason this thread is here is for people to share their opinions. No need to attack you just 'cause you don't like something we do. ^.^

*Pats* There there. You can throw tomatos next time. ^.^ Besides, everyone is intitled to their own opinion and I do agree with Basil on one count, Miyazaki has had better works. ^.^

Wah?? You were throwing tomatoes? (and I wanted to join...) LOL, but i would be throwing them for fun not because i hate anybody. @basil: Yeah, I read some article that there was a novel on Howl's moving castle. Do you know where i could find it online? I don't think i've seen that novel in any bookstores around here. All they have is that 'twilight saga' and other things with vampires on the front cover.

@frappe: ^^ I found a copy of Howl's Moving Castle at the library in my neighborhood. Haven't gotten round to reading the other two books yet. Wanted to read them in sequence but can't get book 2. Have you tried online? I found a pdf file of the book.
*facepalm* Why do I keep feeling like I am doing something illegal?

@frappe: I found it a few times at Borders if you have one near you. It was with the vampires. I was looking for my elves, but the stupid vampires hid them from me! (And now I can't get my second book!) But, I always found Howl's Moving Castle at Borders in that area. Well, maybe not always. ^.^;
@basil: Lucky~ My library doesn't have Howl's Moving Castle, or Castle in the Sky for that matter. (I think that's a book as well.)
I don't know. Is it illegal?

shezu: you have me cornered lol! The best strategically vague answer I can give (for now) is that it depends on whom you are referring to? Getting the book soon?

@basil: Ah ha. That's not a bad one I suppose. ^.^ Me? Naw. I have a dozen books I still need to write, let alone read. ^.^; I hope to though, eventually.

@basil: LOL. I don't really have much choice since I couldn't find a tangible copy of the book anywhere around where I live. ^^ Could you tell me where i could download that pdf file? -Ulp- well, i guess it is... illegal.... XD shezu: the vampires got to your nerves too huh? XD I don't blame you. I hated it because most of the good books were hidden away to give more space to those vampire novels. -sigh- Umm... we don't have Borders... I read that the castle in the sky: laputa was based on a city found in Gullever's travels. I could be wrong though

@writer: It's alright. *Pat* We don't blame ya for gettin' lost. ^.^
@frappe: Yeah, Vampires are getting on my nerves, but I won't mind seeing Miyazaki's take on 'em. XD
