Moderator Applications Interested in the simply wonderful world of rules and enforcing them? [b]Recommendation from staff members on the site[/b]: Please note that we will double-check anything information you give us, in particular your recommendations. EDIT: I would like to point out to everyone applying, that the only available positions are General Mod, HD RP Mod, Original RP Mod, and Fandom Mod. You can't be a mod for a specific fandom; if we had mods for every single fandom, things would just get confusing. Right now, we're just focusing on having a couple mods for each section. More spots may open up once we get more members, and more specified positions might become available in the future, but for now we're just sticking to those four positions, and two for each section. I hope that clears up some confusion. If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me or post them in the Questions thread! |

And I'm known to be good at controlling things  I thrive in leadership roles. I know where the lines are drawn and I'm like a ninja (a friendly and pretty one) that pops out of nowhere to reprimand any members stepping out of line. Because I like my lines straight  How active are you on the site?:At the moment, not very much. I'm still pretty much a newbie here, as my post count will confirm. I will work around that to actually show face here on a regular basis, whether I make the cut for a mod or not. Recommendation from staff members on the site: (We will double-check this!) Reasons why we should hire you: I am an active member of WTRP. I am very interested in role plays and willing to help out in making this website flourish and more fun for everyone to join. I keep myself open to help others who are having problems related to WTRP and I will calmly enforce rules and correct members who have violated them.
How active are you on the site?: Let's just say... I log in almost everyday. When I'm busy, I would return after a day or two.

ELI: I, Elindë, am sure that Frappe would make a fantastic HD RP mod. She is active in many RP threads and therefore has experience of the board she would moderate. Frappe is a lovely person who is friends with everyone she meets here on WTRP but who would, I am sure, keep any rouge RPers in line. She is also very active on this site so is unlikely to disappear without warning.
Basically, she's got all the key ingredients a good mod needs.

Reasons why we should hire you: I have been an active member on WTRP since 2010, and I was a Hidden Dimension moderator for a year. Though it has been two years, I haven’t lost my love for role-playing. Coming up with plots for group role-plays, participating in blurb discussions and working on character development continue to fascinate me.
Besides, my enthusiasm when it comes to role-playing, there are other ways I can help out. Having been a moderator before, I am familiar with most of the rules on WTRP, so I will be able to help newer members familiarize themselves with the rules. I would be able to help members navigate around the general section as well. I post pretty actively in the journal section and the game section. I don’t post often in the lounge section, but I enjoy reading the posts there. I used to be active in the penpal section too, but I found other means to keep in touch with my friends on this site. However, I believe that it is a good way for newer members to meet other WTRP-ers. I would definitely be more than happy to guide them through the process of finding a penpal or two.
How active are you on this site?: I check this site at least once a day, and I make it a point to log in at least once a day, if not once a week. I tend to post in my journal more frequently than other places, but I will definitely reply a role-play within a day or two. If I can’t I will let my partners know. PMs (personal messages) are my top priority. I read them immediately, and respond as soon as possible.
