Apparently my plot moves too fast :/
The Wall, definitely, not that I don't adore Keys to the Kingdom, but it's that little bit more mature and the whole Charter magic completely appeals to me. And I have much love for Sabriel and Touchstone and Lirael. Sabriel's kids, not so much.
Have you read the Nicholas Sayre and the Creature in the Case collection? His Arthurian legend stories are amazing!

I happen to like your plot.
I haven't read Touchstone (I don't think). Just the first three. I do like the Wall better. Although the discrepancies between Sabriel and the later books always bug me.
No, but I'll look into them. Ummm, have you read...the Artemis Fowl series?

Nah the plot in my book, I think I panic and write too many events in too short a time. But thanks!
He's Sabriel's boyfriend XD Hmm, yeah, it annoys me that Sabriel completely changes character when she grows up, too.
Look for Heart's Desire - it was originally in The Road to Camelot if that helps at all
And I read the first one and hated it. I still don't know why, but I can't read any Eoin Colfer books.

Ah, I get that too. Pacing is a big problem. . Yeah. There was obviously a long gap there...Oh yes, I remember him. He turns out to be a prince doesn't he. *needs to reread the books* I've read that! I was going to ask if you had because of the Garth Nix short story that's in it...Great minds...I will definitely look into it. xD. . I liked the first...three. Then there was a love interest and I got bored. Do you read much sci-fi?

He does =) hehee
It's my favourite ever! So sad!
...well... not really any more... I go through phases and I had an Asimov one a few years ago, which was really good... but I'm sort of obsessed with magic right now XD

*nods* Urban fantasy or high fantasy? I would guess high...
Oooh, Asimov is great. Have you ever read any of the Dune books? Or anything by Orson Scott Card? His work is more recent and decidedly darker but Ender's Game and the Shadow series are both fantastic.

Nah, high fantasy =D The series I read is all about an elite Guild of Magicians and a slum girl whose powers spontaneously emerge so has to join the Guild... it's really good
Don't worry, I need new stuff! Any steampunk reccomendations?

It sounds it. What about...ummm, the Septimus Heap series? Magyk, Flyte, etc etc.
There's a great book by a very strange English author called China Mieville. If you're starting with his books I'd recommend UnLunDun first. And the Laws of Magic series I mentioned earlier. They're decidedly steampunk-esque.

xD.
*sigh* I'm currently sitting in a very boring lecture, ignoring my lecturer because I'm so tired he would put me to sleep. I was all excited because this subject sounded really cool, but instead he's just rambling and going off on tangents. And not in a good way, in a boring way.
How goeth your education?

It's great! I just got 100% on my first A level maths exam!!! XDDD
I'm taking Maths, Physics, Art and English, and the plan is to study architecture at uni =D
... unless I leave home before then. Since my father and I currently detest each other, he makes life... difficult... and I'm fed up. Sorry, I'll stop moaning, it's not too bad, we've just had a shouting match.

That's fantastic! Ugh, physics! Sorry, I'm so not a maths person! Architecture sounds cool though, I have a couple of friends who've just started architecture. They said it's intense. That's sad. If you need to rant I'm always happy to listen and sympathise. .

Thankyou! Yeah, I'm a bit 'yuk' about the physics amd maths too, but I need ygem for yge architecture and there's no way I could do anything completely artsy since I'd go insane!
Ah, it seems to be getting better now -fingerscrossed-. I think dad's decided to actually put some effort into liking me again, so all's good =) and thankyouu =D
