So apparently Bret Michaels is in critical condition after a brain hemorrhage. Just saw the article on yahoo news.
I should be on a mailing list for these types of things. Basically anything involving 70s/80s rockers. Granted Bret Michaels turned into a sellout, but still! Poison was an icon of 80s hair metal, I still need to know about these things if I'm going to stay up to date.

These are very possibly THE best chocolates I've ever had. They have REAL blueberries inside of them, and the quality of the chocolate is just... imagine how heaven tastes. Now multiply that times ten. It's THAT good. My only problem is I don't know where I can buy them regularly. We have a store nearby that sells food/other things for cheap prices in slightly damaged packaging (not stuff that's actually gotten opened during shipping, but stores will send damaged packages there and whatnot). As you can see, the price sticker on the top says $8.19, but the orange price sticker from that store says $.99--pretty big difference, and all that was wrong with it was a little dent in the corner. The plastic bag inside that had the chocolates in it was totally undamaged. But yeah. I got these there, and there was only one box of them. I'm going to have to look into this, since I'm totally addicted to them now. Seriously, I'd pay nine dollars a box for these things if it came down to it, they're freaking amazing. |

Oh, and I scored ten points higher on an IQ test today that I took around October/November of last year -woot- 154!!!! -woot-

I think I hate Mother's Day more than Valentine's Day now. Though it's sort of hard to compare. I just think Valentine's Day is stupid, my hatred of Mother's Day is slightly more personal.
On a similar note, hope everyone else has a good Mother's Day, since mine's been total crap so far.

I'm getting into tabletop RPGs. Which means, yes, my conversion to nerddom is totally complete. My brother and his friend have succeeded in their quest. Now to see if my brother's friend can succeed in getting him into live action role playing, better known as larping, because I'm actually kinda interested in that... if only for the sake of roman candle "Magic Missiles." @_@

With any hope, the epic party-shed might get nearly completed tonight. Plans of moving in a TV, our futon, the Wii, the PS2 tonight. Then he's bringing over his mini-fridge sometime soon to keep in there.
All that'll be left after that will be to clean a few things out of the back of the front room of the shed, move the window-unit air conditioner from my brother's old house over there, and paint a Twister mat on the floor. This is just going to be epic.

I panicked like I haven't panicked in ages because I thought I had lost my cell phone, and the battery was dead so I couldn't find it by calling it. I've found it, and it's hit me just how dependent on current technology I have become.
Though actually, the entire time I was looking for it, I was thinking more along the lines of "OHGOD they're going to kill me if I lost it... >_<" Rather than, "oh noes I's lyk gonna miss all my texts omgwtfbbqlolz." Especially given I get maybe one text every other day.
