I've seen The Avengers. Now I'm reading more comics again...and the Poetic and Prose Eddas >_> I need to find more Thor comics. Despite the obvious errors from actual Norse mythology, OMGMYTHOLOGYINCOMICBOOKSYAY. And *cough* movie-verse Loki. He's so adorable that I can't say I'd mind him actually taking over the Earth. I almost cried when he got all Hulk-smashed. I promise it wasn't in laughter. I promise. I PROMISE. And I sincerely hope he got that drink. So anyway. Have any other mythology geeks read Þrymskviða? From the Poetic Edda? Because it's seriously hilarious. The basic summary can be found here. It involves, in brief, Mjolnir being stolen by the jotnar king Thrymr, and his demanding Freyja as a wife as his price for the safe return of the hammer; Freyja obviously wants nothing to do with it. It's decided that Thor should conceal himself as a bride and get the hammer back himself. Heimdall proposed the idea. Thor was incredibly unhappy with it, but was talked into it. Loki volunteered to go as his maid, presumably for back-up but more likely for blackmail, because I envision Loki as a sarcastic bastard. In the best possible way. He is considered a trickster god, after all, so, y'know. Oh, the mental pictures. Oh holy crap it was actually adapted into a comic. Marvel, I LOVE YOU. You didn't get every detail perfect, but I LOVE YOU. x'D

I draw prettyful Alucard.*major fangirl sigh* I think I'll be drawing more of Alucard in the future. He so pretty. Even if his sunglasses are a complete PAIN IN THE ASS. > I'll have to properly scan this one a bit later. The detail work doesn't stand out very well in cellphone pictures. Nor does the incredibly noisy tie. Seriously, noisiest tie ever. I wouldn't want to be the one telling him, though, as I happen to like having all of my limbs firmly attached and don't want to risk them ending up on the opposite side of the room from me...or eaten, for that matter. All this is besides the point. The point is ALUCARD. :'D *morefangirlsigh* I'll take psychopathic bloodthirsty killing machine over sparkles and angst any day. Okay. I'll stop. But if you don't like fangirling, you shouldn't be in my journal anyway, ja? This is like, the only place I fangirl.

Oh, f--- you, internet. Our internet isn't allowing me to view images on imgur or half of deviantART, on any computer on our network. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. On a lighter note, got a better scan of the fan art in my previous post and uploaded it to deviantART, so here ya are. heavy-metal-thunder.deviantart.com/art/Alucard-311609007*fangirlish sigh*

On a bit of a drawing frenzy... Exhibit B here.Oh, Pip. You're like the most adorablest mercenary ever. Bonus points for the eyepatch, of course. I'd definitely have one of my muses summon you forth from Hellsing-verse just so I could hug you if you weren't such a vulgar and perverted bastard. Unfortunately Mister Pip Bernadotte suffered the usual fate of being one of my favorite characters; he died. T-T

I've started an art meme from deviantART I actually intend to finish. The subject is facial expressions. Character I selected was Pat. I decided to do the irritated one first to get it out of the way. It would be hardest, since Pat is almost never irritated. He's nearly always all like, so irritated was a good one to practice on. Results: Lines aren't neat at all, but I'm not worried with it, as it's just supposed to be a sketch. Note: Jon Bon Jovi hair isn't the easiest thing in the world to draw. o_e

A better scan of beloved Pip ♥Aaaaaah~ he's just so ridiculously adorable. Why must I fangirl over obscure characters who only get character development so the readers will be sad when they die? WHY?!

WAAAAAALLLLLLTTTEEEEERRRRVery possibly the most awesome old guy ever. Er-- *glances at Cornelius* second most awesome. I'm obligated to say that. Or something. >_> Only 1/3 of the way complete; I still have two more incarnations of Walter that need drawing: vampiric Walter and young Walter.

[Dating life problems. You would likely be best turning back now.]
It's come to my attention that I'm absolutely not at all attracted to guys my own age. It's mostly due to maturity levels, but it still just.... *sigh* And it goes back pretty far. The only crush I had while still in high school was a teacher, and not until eleventh grade-ish. Gods there's so much wrong with me. ><;
Most of my acquaintances have come to assume I'm a lesbian or something because I don't exactly talk about it and I don't exactly date. It's pretty irritating.

Random fandom-verse RPs on an anonymous chat site! Adding that common-interests feature may be the best thing Omegle has ever done. :'D I'll grant that you still run into the occasional weirdo, but it's easier finding normal (well, normal to me, anyway) people this way.

IMDB has provided me with four more reasons I need to get into the Fable series: Simon Pegg ^_^, John Cleese , Stephen Fry :'D, and MICHAEL FREAKING FASSBENDER 8'D!! *ahem* I mean, erm, that is to say...erm. I'm not a fangirl. I promise. Granted the lack of Simon Templeman makes me sad, but I can deal with it. It's actually hard for me to play any game not in the Legacy of Kain series that Templeman does voice acting in without me going all "KAIN WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE THIS ISN'T NOSGOTH--oh." So maybe it's for the better. Same goes for Tony Jay. I'm still incredibly sad he's no longer with us. He had one of the best voices ever.

As soon as get home from this freaking birthday party, I'm cleaning my room and starting my exercise routine back up again. AND DAMMIT I'M STICKING WITH IT THIS TIME. I'm so, so, so sick of not being able to fit properly into half of my old jeans. UGH. This is what I get for being awesome at baking. T-T

I admit, he's the only reason I bought Fable II after getting III. *liked III but didn't have the money for II**found out he was in it and bought it anyway* Gods, I hope he's in the later games.... *knows exactly what you mean about having a hard time playing games where actors you adore do the voice work* Erm...I's gonna go now. Feel free to delete this mindless babbling about hot actors. >_>

Need money to buy it first. As it is we can barely keep food in the house and bills paid right now. ;_; OMGYAY SOMEONE ELSE :'D I stumbled across him on hollow-art and then subsequently got my first encounter with his acting via Prometheus (where he looked very little like he normally does. I was all, "Do I know him? He looks familiar. Where have I--WAIT A MINUTE. ") Now I'm determined to see everything he's in. Because he's Irish and he's awesome and...and...and so on and so forth. Agreed on Fry's voice. I also feel the same about Tony Jay's voice, but I think the only games he ever did voice acting for were the Legacy of Kain series. I wish he'd been able to do more. T-T
