I'm staring at my outline and I find a few logical loopholes in my plot. -.-; I am debating whether to continue or solve them first. I have a feeling that the solution might come to mind after I finish the first draft. Incidentally, I have a question about writing original fiction - how do you go about creating a new world? Well, I do have the place in mind, but I'm not very convinced. It still feels superficial to me. Can anyone please give me some advice? Thanks!

Chiang Mai Day 2 Good morning! It's nice this morning. A pleasant change from the Bangkok air. Sent the kid to school. Now we are on our way to the hot springs, paper umbrella factory and the Queen's project. The Princess Mother's project is too far away. Hope the weather will remain this mild!

Chiang Mai Day 2 (2nd post) O.o the water from the hot springs was 105 C! Ten minutes is all that's needed to cook a chicken egg. >< We had quails eggs so it probably took a shorter time to cook them. Lol we didn't realize it till much later. had too much fun soaking in the foot bath. Not sure how hot the water in the bath was. So much for wishing for mild weather. It was scorching by early afternoon. We wanted to give up after visiting the silk and paper umbrella factories. Luckily the driver suggested going to the temple on the hills instead. It was much cooler there. got a picture of the naga! Basil over and out!

I want some new decor. Preferably one using cat eyes. =3 Not sure if it'll work though. Need to find something easier to manip. Oh and I still haven't finished the one with the forest background yet. Definitely stuck with that one. The white bits keep disappearing. =(

*clings to the com* *doesn't want to go to bed all of a sudden* Pathetic, I know, but a com screen is better than a blackberry screen any day. Plus, I'm pretty sure my 30 hours of surf time is almost up. Hahaha... I think they never factored the lag time. Don't blame them. Want to thank them instead. The long break was productive.
Oh well, better go before I disturb the rest. Especially the toddler. =)

[Warning: Contains spoilers for James Clavell's Asian Saga]
Reading the last book - Escape. Not sure if it's counted as part of the saga. It seems to be a spin off/ side story based on Whirlwind. Mum finished it a few days ago and we were discussing the book. Found out from her that the characters in the Asian saga are interconnected. Some directly, ie descendents of previous protagonists, others indirectly. I'm blown away. The saga spans almost 269 years. The first book, shogun, took place in Japan in the 1600s while the last book, Whirlwind, takes place in Iran in 1969.
Now I want to try book one again. It was fascinating, but I got bored along the way. I stopped after Mariko, the protagonist's love interest, died. :/ Things didn't seem that intriguing after that. Mostly political I believe. Lol don't take my word for it. I skimmed through to the end.

Howl's Moving Castle disappeared earlier! *head pillows* My brother and I searched the bedroom, living room and dining room, but we couldn't find the book. Never leave the small things till the last minute! Such trivial details will come back to haunt you.
Oh you silly book!

Time is strange. It usually slips away. Now it refuses to budge. Mum says it's a different pace of life. I wonder now... I know, I know! Rucran, you don't need to tell me to sit back and relax. >.< You adapt far too easily.

*happy* I got the full version from my teacher! And... the file can be emailed? <.< Rucran: Basil, I hope you aren't going to do what I think you are going to do. Basil: ... No. I doubt so.

Laughing sporadically doesn't mean I'm insane, right? o.O Ruc stop giving me that look. Of course, it seems sporadic, but you can't see what's on my laptop screen! No, and you are not suppose to peep! >.<

Country codes. There are so many options nowadays. The latest one I'm using is 00500. Need to remember that when I need to make a call. I know that if you use +(country code) it's one of the more expensive options around. I'm glad that it's easier to store phone numbers nowadays. Phone books are neat but ...
Hmmmm... will it be like carrying another notebook around? *curious* I remember my mum carrying such notebooks around before. But that was ages ago. Oh and handphones too! That was certainly interesting.

I love system bugs. I couldn't check my modules. I need to see how many classes I need to take to graduate by next semester. In fact, I believe I will have to redo one of my credits, not because I failed, but because the instructions weren't very clear. Gah! Now they tell me that official we can only check our credits after we get our results.
=.=; Why is the system so problematic? I hope that nothing goes wrong. Gosh, I should download skype if this keeps up. *head desking*
I have a love/hate relationship with the school computer system. When there are bugs, there are bugs. I am thankful though that I haven't encountered the more severe ones yet. Hope it stays that way next semester.
