-From Elvenquest ~ BBC Radio- BBC Radio is a big thing for me, have you noticed? ^^
Vidar - Elven Lord Sam - guy from out time Amis - Sam's dog, a human in Lower Earth and The Chosen One Penthiselea - woman from Lower Earth
Vidar: The last one [quest] took 3 Elven moon-spans
Sam: Ah right-
Vidar: Which is about a thousand years in human terms.
Sam: WHAT?!
Amis: How much is that in dog years?
Sam: I can't stay here for a thousand years; I haven't cancelled the milk!
Amis: Maybe this is one of those things where no matter how long we stay here, when we get back no time at all has elapsed and everything's exactly as it was when we left and we're like "We've been gone for a thousand years!" and everyone's like "No you haven't"
Sam: Ah of course! Is that what happens?
Vidar: -minute pause- No.
Penthiselea: Perhaps there's a quicker way to reach the Sword of Aznegar
Vidar: The Oracle will tell all. -thunder clap- Behold! -cue dramatic music- The gateway to the innermost sanctum of the Oracle of Fenrog. To enter we must answer the Riddle of Unknowing; the ancient puzzle that has kept the Oracle hidden for thousands of years-
Penthiselea: Vidar...
Vidar: Only he who is pure of heart and firm of purpose can answer -
Penthiselea: Vidar...
Vidar: the riddle and find what is
Penthiselea: Vidar!
Vidar: - What?!
Penthiselea: It's open

Russell Howard's version of the British National Anthem (possibly the worst national anthem in the world. this version's so much better)
I'm missing Bargain Hunt What shall I have for lunch? Maybe some chips.
Who would I rather be; Sponge Bob or Mr T? I want a butler space-monkey 'Cause I'm the queen.

lol, I found this after googling 'Thranduil', once again proving that he applies to everything. ^^ This photo was in a little corner. Surrounded by photos of Lee Pace. -sigh- Actually scratch the sigh, after seeing him in The Fall Pace has grown on me. And added bonus: there won't be so many Elfking fangirls when the films come out. Who am I kidding?! There'll be more of the shallow b-tches. I will weep with fellow devotees when the films come out.

So there are quite a few manips around now and in the good ones Pace does look suitably Elven XD But then this picture caught my eye: and because my brain hates me it decided to think 'He looks a bit like Edward Cullen' and now I can't get that likeness out of my head. I hate my brainCould be worse, Joaquin Phoenix could have been cast... Yup to counteract that, here's a suitably sickly-sweet picture that I will have my ears boxed over at some point almost definitely but I love this artist so much Caption: Middle Earth's last Elvenking (I realised that long ago and thought 'aww' but now I reserve the right to gag)

Please tell me I'm not the only person who finds this photo... straaaange O.o Apparently it's supposed to be the White Council with some of their more dangerous weapons.

Vidar: I've been thinking of leaving this place...
So much love for Vidar. -xD-

Some of the things I've had to explain to Phoenix over the years:
electricity plastic cars showers the internet printing divorce photographs guns school contintental drift recorded music lack of 'sea longing' religion pens central heating artificial lights phones television written exams trains prostitution (don't ask how that came up) man-made fabrics shopping centres astrology computer/video games teenagers submarines chocolate coffee sugar etc...
you get the picture

BBC Radio:
(italicised = emphasised)
Elrond: 'This is Gimli, son of Gloin of the Dwarves, companion of Bilbo in the quest for Smaug's treasure horde. And this is Legolas, son of Thranduil, king of the Elves of Northern Mirkwood. And this is Boromir, a MAN from the south'.
wowzah! he's a MAN! Yes, yes, yes he's the son and heir to Denethor, lord and Steward of Gondor, but he's a Man!! oh my fricking God!

Thranduil – Lee Pace – The Fall – morphine, mask, can’t swim, pistols? – Pushing Daisies – makes amazing pies
Celeborn – Marton Csokas – Alice in Wonderland – Celebrian fell down a rabbit hole
Elrond – Hugo Weaving – The Matrix – déjà vu?
Lindir – Bret McKenzie – Flight of the Conchords – amusing song
Legolas – Orlando Bloom – Pirates of the Caribbean – mucking around on the Long Lake in a boat
Smaug – Benedict Cumberbatch – Sherlock – figuring out who people are from random pieces of info
Gandalf – Ian McKellen – RSC – quoting Shakespeare
This fanfic idea is becoming less and less simple...
