Okay its a one eyed two horned flying energon eater! Name Shockwave Faction Decepticons Motto Secrets are the foundation of power. Bio SHOCKWAVE is the ultimate spy. Able to change his voice, energy signature, and even his appearance at will, he has spent years infiltrating the AUTOBOT power structure. Graduating near the top of the class from the AUTOBOT Academy, he moved through the ranks of the Elite Guard, eventually becoming head of the Intelligence Division. Not once did anyone suspect the bright, friendly AUTOBOT known as LONGARM of being a devious enemy spy. * Expert code breaker and thief. * Enjoys blackmailing AUTOBOTS in positions of power. * Stole his AUTOBOT identity from old historical files. Shockwave is a covert agent in service to Megatron. This size-changing master of disguise has infiltrated the Autobot security apparatus at the highest level: his cover persona is Longarm Prime, head of Cybertron Intelligence, reporting directly to Ultra Magnus himself. The undercover Decepticon is the perfect agent to pull this off, as he's able to change his voice, his appearance, and even his energy signature. This puts Shockwave in the perfect position to undermine and mislead the Autobots while feeding strategic information to his true master. To establish his credibility, "Longarm" attended the Autobot boot camp alongside Bumblebee and Bulkhead. Over the years, he worked his way up the Autobot hierarchy until finally he was promoted to be the very head of the Intelligence Division itself! Befitting a double agent, Shockwave is highly secretive and fearful of detection. Befitting a cartoon villain, he can confidently give those secrets away if he thinks he's winning. If he suspects his cover may be compromised, he's given to acts of desperation. Shockwave is responsible for handing over an unknown amount of top secret data to Megatron and 2 murders and one possible murder. He Murdered Highbrow prime and Ultra Magnus and most likely murdered Blurr although his is debatable. • Actor Corey Burton reprises the role of Shockwave from Generation 1, reusing precisely the same British-accented, David-Warner-inspired voice for the character (while employing an American accented variation for Longarm). In an online interview with Seibertron.com in early 2009 (sadly lost owing to a server crash), Burton revealed that Shockwave's inclusion in Season 2 arose from a between-scenes conversation he had with the production team, regarding how little the original Shockwave actually had to do. • In somewhat of a reversal, while this incarnation of Shockwave has much fewer appearances than his original incarnation, he does a heck of a lot more stuff: in just a few fleeting appearances on Animated, Shockwave manages to destroy Wasp's life, kill a popular recurring character, bring down Cybertron's entire interplanetary transport and communications system, brutally assault the Magnus (and steal his hammer!), and give Megatron control of the Autobots' most feared and powerful weapon. Oh, and according to the Almanacs, he probably offed Highbrow, and Magnus wasn't going to survive. • While Shockwave possesses the single, round optic and window-chest of his Generation 1 counterpart, much of the rest of his body appears to be largely patterned after Armada Megatron; he transforms into an "H-tank", the front treads end up on his shoulders and the rear treads end up on the back of his lower legs, plus he has the large, spiky "antlers" on his head. Additionally, Shockwave's vehicle mode appears to be loosely based on one of the Transtech sketch designs for Megatron, with the high angled treads and turret. However, Shockwave is much thinner and taller than Megatron, and is also able to bend his knees. • The DVD closed captioning for the episode "Autoboot Camp" misspelled Shockwave's name as Chugway. Seriously. No, it's not a joke. • Shockwave's status as an Elite Guard member in his Longarm identity is an issue fraught with much confusion. His on-package bio states that, as Longarm, he rose through the ranks of the Cybertron Elite Guard to reach his current position; this theoretically meshes with Longarm's cover story in "Autoboot Camp", where he states that he wishes to become an Elite Guard intelligence officer[4]. However, Derrick J. Wyatt has informed this wiki that Longarm is not actually a member of that group in the cartoon continuity. Shockwave's status as a nonmember of the Elite Guard is supported by Longarm's lack of the Elite Guard's winged Autobot symbol, and the evident fact that, while Longarm is head of the Autobot Intelligence Division, the Autobot Intelligence Division is not a part of the Elite Guard; Longarm's immediate predecessor as head of the organization, Highbrow, did not sport the Elite Guard symbol either. Adding to this confusion, Longarm was drawn with an Elite Guard symbol in The Arrival #1, but this seems to have been in error, as Sentinel Prime — stated to be the second-in-command of the Elite Guard in the story — sported a normal Autobot symbol throughout it, suggesting the symbol-paster got confused. o Transformers Animated: The AllSpark Almanac II suggests that part of the reason Shockwave isn't an Elite Guardsman is toy-based. The toy's faction symbol rotates to switch allegiances, and the wider Elite Guard symbol wouldn't have been mechanically feasible. • Both "Shockwave and "Longarm" have official alternate capitalizations. The credits of "TransWarped" give "LongArm Prime", and the credits for "This Is Why I Hate Machines" have "ShockWave". • Despite not having a face, Shockwave still manages to have a chin. • Like Soundwave, Shockwave has the ability to fly despite having a land-based vehicle mode. Unlike Soundwave, his ability is explained by having rocket boosters in his feet like several other Decepticons. Shockwave was later repainted Purple to match his “true colors “ change in the series. Up next is a young mech with dreams of Joining the Elite Guard.

Jugaway... *snorts with amusement* I can just imagine Shockwave not the least bit amused and coming to try and murder all of them. XD I really liked Shockwave. He's quite classy to me and I like classy characters. >3 If only he succeeded, that would have been awesome.

indeed ^ ^ He would be very unamused by it XD. I liked him as well. he was one of the most successful spies of all time, I cannot think of another spy real or fictional that got appointed to be the head of his enemies intelligence department.

True but generally speaking a spy would not normally be called on to handle such a high profile assassination. Now if we can only get Shockwave to kill Sentinel so we can get a decent Magnus.....

Okay time for a showcase: Name Elite Guard Bumblebee Faction Autobots Function Autobot Speedster Motto I'm so hot it hurts! Bio After getting up close to members of the AUTOBOT Elite Guard, BUMBLEBEE wants more than ever to be one of them. It is his personal opinion that the one thing the Elite Guard needs to be perfect is to lighten up a little bit, and he's just the guy to put the "lite" back in "Elite". His first step to fitting in with the Elite Guard is to look the part, so he had Sari borrow some of her dad's auto-painting robots to help him achieve his new look. * Enhanced energy stingers * Difficulty taking corners at top speed * Takes combat training with PROWL Bumblebee is the youngest, yellowest, and most energetic of the Autobots...as usual. A hyperactive wisecracker, Bumblebee is quite convinced he's the fastest—and coolest—thing on four wheels. He has a tendency to bite off more than he can chew, so it's a good thing he pals around with the massive Bulkhead. He does not take well to being called short, and his over-eager ways can get on Ratchet's nerves all too easily. Still, Bumblebee is good with people, as evidenced by his fast friendship with Sari Sumdac. Early in his career, Bumblebee dreamed of becoming a member of the Elite Guard. He joined the Autobot boot camp, but things didn't exactly go as planned—his drill sergeant was a jerk, most of his classmates bullied him and the only bot willing to befriend him was a complete mudflap. His luck seemed to change, however, when he accidentally overheard someone communicating with a Decepticon. He then saw fellow classmate Wasp walk out, which aroused his suspicions. After taking the advice of Longarm, Bumblebee attempted to weed out the spy, but Sentinel Minor got in the way twice. Needless to say, this resulted in many transform-ups for his squadron. After Wasp and Ironhide tore off his legs and put him in a closet, he was saved by Longarm, who encouraged him not to give up. Later that day, the group was put through their first training exercise—combat in a simulated battlezone. When somebody switched the turret settings to fire actual lasers, it was Bulkhead who saved Bumblebee. However, they accidentally knocked over a building in the process, flattening Sentinel. When Sentinel was conducting a surprise locker inspection, Sentinel discovered a Decepticon communicator in Wasp's trunk, ousting him as a traitor. Sentinel was prepared to put Bumblebee on an Elite Guard fast track program. Sadly, his new friendship with Bulkhead forced him to throw it all away in order to prevent his new buddy being kicked out, and they both wound up working on space bridges. Wasp was not the spy, a Fact that would come back to haunt Bumblebee. This figure was repurposed as a sentient Hologram called Wireless Automated Sales Person or WASP from the shattered glass universe. • Bumblebee's arm-mounted shock stingers are very likely inspired by an early weapon concept from the 2007 movie Bumblebee. • The character who would become Bumblebee was originally conceived as Hot Shot, but changed to Bumblebee at the insistence of incoming supervising director Matt Youngberg and art director Derrick J. Wyatt.[1] This explains why his character is more like Hot Shot and less like... well, Bumblebee. He also arguably shares personality traits with other, similarly brash "ADHD" characters such as Hot Rod and Cheetor. Cut from the same cloth, at any rate. • Bumblebee appears to have a fake car roof on his chest in both his toy and on his character model. Not only does Bumblebee transform like his toy in his drawn-out animated transformation sequences, with his legs forming the top of the vehicle and the rest forming the underside, but his "real" windshield is drawn on the back of his legs, just like the toy. Plus the headlights on Bumblebee's feet are upside-down, just like the toy's. However, Bumblebee's vehicle mode stripe doesn't change sides like on the toy. Cheatsy! • In addition to the above, in "The Thrill of the Hunt," Bumblebee reaches under his fake car roof kibble to get out his air freshener and fuzzy dice. This would mean that he had kept them in his back seat or trunk. Interestingly enough, on the Deluxe toy, you can actually store small items in his chest thanks to his opening 'trunk'. • He likes to swear a lot. Slag yeah! • He apparently got his name for being a bumbler in Autobot boot camp. Autoboot Camp • On the Transformers Animated Season One DVD set, the "Season Two Sneak Peek" special feature shows Bumblebee's character model colored in the Elite Guard Bumblebee toy's deco. Bumblebee did not actually use that color scheme in Season 2, so its inclusion in a Season Two gallery is puzzling at best... • With the airing of the episodes "Human Error" Parts 1 and 2, an interesting and probably unintentional question has been brought up. Bumblebee's human form is obviously much younger than the others, even Prowl and Bulkhead, putting him somewhere around pre-teen to early teen years. Everything else about the humans reflect their bot conterparts spot on, down to a scar on Ratchet's face to represent his broken chevron. So, seeing as human Bumblebee is obviously so young, does that make him a child soldier? Or is he just plain short? • Bumblebee's original 65356-9292-346 body-type is apparently quite common on Cybertron — he shares it with many, many others. There have been many Animated Bumblebee figures and toys, he is a kid appeal chatacter after all here are but a few : Deluxe class ( It is of note this mold would have been used to make the cancelled fugitive Waspinator figure) : Activator class and its patrol repaint : Hydrodive Bumblebee , only released in Japan its US Release was cancelled by Hasbro: Bumblebee was given voice by Larry C. "Bumper" Robinson II) an American actor/voice actor. He received the nickname "Bumper" from learning to walk at a young age and repetitively bumping into things in his home. Probably his most popular acting role has been Clarence on Amen, and in the world of voice acting, Philo Quartz from The Flintstone Kids, Dwight Conrad from Futurama, Black Lightning from Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Danny Picket from What's with Andy?, and Cyborg from Justice League: Doom. Robinson has done plenty of voice work, usually on animated movies/shows such as Pinky and the Brain, Brother Bear and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He performed these other role for Transformers Animated: Blitzwing Porter C. Powell Lester Black Blackout Up next is an unfortunate Cybertronian who ran afoul of Shockwave’s need to protect his cover and Bumblebee’s being guliable.

Bumblebee's motto... *facepalm* Yeah, I also wondered about the same thing with the child soldier possibility and it disturbed me greatly as well. Probably one possible thing that disturbs me about TF in the whole. G1 Bumblbee also has the mentality of a child doesn't he? It was also my reason why I created Skip because he represents the dangers and horrors of child soldiers, a current human issue still present in our world.

yup he does to me he is a young teen ( 14-15 in human years for animated ) For G1 its hard to say i think id place his age at 17-19 but its hard to be sure. I thought that might be it for Skip.

Well for skip i suspect his mentality is older due to the Deception training camp being harsher than Autoboot camp.

okay showcase time! Name Waspinator Faction Decepticons (nominally) Function Mutant Madman Motto Waspinator rules! Bio Driven crazy by years locked in an AUTOBOT prison, WASPINATOR is determined to take revenge on the robot who put him there - BUMBLEBEE. Now, after bizarre experiments conducted by BLACKARACHNIA, he finally has the power to make his vengeance a reality. He has come to Earth hunting the AUTOBOT speedster and he will not stop until BUMBLEBEE is a pile of smoking scrap. * Energy stinger paralyzes other robots. * Can survive even after being blown to pieces. ( reference to Beast Wars Waspinator) * Was an Autobot before his time in prison. Wasp is a lot like Bumblebee... physically, at least. Built from the same chassis and sharing many of the same specifications and subroutines, the two Autobots attended boot camp together. Wasp's pompous, smarmy personality leaves something to be desired, but he had a lot going for him as a soldier, being highly skilled in the use of his stingers and knowing just how to toe the line with the drill sergeant. In a better life, he might have been Cybertron Elite Guard commander material. Might have. These days, though, Wasp is a broken bot, mentally unstable and on the run from the Autobots who have branded him a traitor. And, thanks to Blackarachnia's experimentation, he's been reformatted into Waspinator, a high-powered, techno-organic monstrosity. What little remains of his mind is focused on just one goal... destroying Bumblebee, the bot who ruined his life! Wasp was a cadet in the same group as Bumblebee, Bulkhead, Ironhide and Longarm. Right away, Wasp took a dislike to Bumblebee, insulting him out of the blue as the yellow bot mused to himself about his future in the Elite Guard. He also dubbed Bulkhead a "mudflap", much to the amusement of his fellow cadets. The loud-mouthed drill sergeant Sentinel Minor took an immediate liking to "Wasp", as he dubbed him due to being impressed with his accuracy with his stingers - it was Bumblebee "bumbling" in trying to compete with this that led to his own name being assigned. Wasp and Ironhide quickly became close friends, often competing in little tests of strength, usually involving Wasp hitting or stinging Ironhide while the latter was in armor mode. After Bumblebee "bumbled" several more times, leading to many transform-ups for the whole group, Wasp and Ironhide decided to take matters into their own hands, unscrewing Bumblebee's lower legs and leaving them out of reach even before they dumped the rest of him in a locker. Unbeknown to Wasp, however, the reason for Bumblebee's foul-ups was that he was trying to out a traitor in the group—and had pegged Wasp as the likely culprit after seeing him walk out of a hangar in which someone had contacted Megatron. (Plus, let's face it, he was a complete jerk. And Decepticons are jerks, right?) At Longarm's prompting, Bumblebee eventually found evidence incriminating Wasp as a spy. Wasp was stripped of his Autobot insignia and wheeled away, protesting his innocence and swearing revenge on Bumblebee. It would be later revealed that LongArm( Prime) was none other than the Decepticon Shockwave and that Wasp was innocent all along sadly by that time his processor was a lost cause and he was insane. He had escaped prision and fled to earth where he learned Bumblebee was located bent on getting revenge. He never got it. Not for lack of trying though. He was changed into his current form by Blackarachnia in an effort to learn how to remove her own biological contamination. Not long after the pair ended up getting blasted to prehistoric earth in a transwarp explosion where they met 4 very familiar creatures to Beast Wars fans: • The small, vestigial arms present on the Deluxe Waspinator toy's robot mode torso have their origin in an early design concept for Lockdown; the bounty hunter robot's character model was subsequently altered to make his appearance less monstrous, but Derrick J. Wyatt loved the concept of the vestigial arms enough to incorporate them instead into Waspinator's design.[1] • The signature quote given to Waspinator on his toy packaging is "Waspinator rules!", one of several iconic catchphrases associated with the original Beast Wars incarnation of Waspinator. He uttered it in "A Better Mousetrap" and "Maximal, No More". • Derrick Wyatt states on his blog that this incarnation of Waspinator is inspired by his Beast Wars counterpart, but made more monstrous and buglike. Wyatt examined photographs of actual wasps, nature shows like "Life in the Undergrowth" and monster movies for inspiration. The FX studio, Audio Circus, added insectoid clicks and other background sounds for the character.[2] • In technorganic mode, Wasp is capable of firing energy blasts from his vestigial arms. This is possibly the mutated version of his original stinger attack, similar to Elita-1/Blackarachnia retaining her downloading power. • Wasp is the only character to have shown three different bodies throughout the show (Cybertronian race car, green version of Bumblebee's car mode, and giant wasp). • Wasp wears the 65356-9292-346 body-type. There was a planned Fugative Waspinator figure, a repaint of Deluxe Bumblebee, but it was cancelled along with several others when Animated its self was cancelled. Here is a pic of it, note is is from the packaging of another figure, To the best of my knowledge no examples of the figure have appeared if one did it would command a high price: Animated Waspinator is included with the original Beast Wars Character in his surprise win of last year’s fan vote for the Transformers Hall of Fame making him only the second non G1 character so honored ( Dinobot was the first) Wasp(inator) was give voice by : Thomas James Kenny an American voice actor, actor and stand-up comedian. From the stand-up side, he is known for his Comedy Central special as well as his prominent role on Mr. Show. On the voice-acting side, he is best recognized as the eponymous character from Spongebob Squarepants, The Penguin from The Batman, The Amazing Mumbo from Teen Titans, Gibson from Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go, Jake from My Gym Partner is a Monkey, Raimundo from Xiaolin Showdown, Bill Straitman from Histeria!, Heifer Wolfe from Rocko's Modern Life (Which also features Charlie Adler), the mayor and narrator from the Powerpuff Girls, Yancy Fry Jr. from Futurama, the Ice King in Adventure Time, Griff on Rave Master, Plastic Man from Batman; The Brave and the Bold, Iron Man & Captain America from Marvel Super Hero Squad, Rabbit in Winnie the Pooh (replacing Ken Sansom), Nathan Evo, Daniel Rocka and Jetbug on Lego Hero Factory and... jeez, just about everything that's been on Cartoon Network and Nick in the past 10-20 years. As an on-camera actor, he has played Patchy The Pirate on segments of Spongebob Squarepants, and very early on in his career, he played the villainous Binky The Clown (not to be confused with the Garfield character of the same name) in Bobcat Goldthwait's cult comedy Shakes The Clown. Up next the most infamous Femme Fatale in Transformers history, animated style.

You know... Wasp's mental instability that formed during his years in incarceration makes me question what they might have done to him during his time. I really do feel sorry for him and I hope things can be made right. There is still potential to repair the broken mirror even though you can't undo the damage.

I have to agree, i would not say he was tortured but given they believed him to be a traitor he was not likely treated as well as he could have been. showcase time , Ron Weasley please leave the thread now. Name Blackarachnia Faction Decepticons Motto My sting will be the last thing you feel. Bio BLACKARACHNIA started out as a promising young recruit at the AUTOBOT Academy. Accidentally abandoned on a hostile alien world by her teammates, she did the only thing she could – merged with the organic monsters that swarmed the caves in which she was trapped. Emerging as a technorganic mutant, she vowed revenge on the AUTOBOTS that had left her behind, and joined the DECEPTICONS in their war of conquest. * Generates organic webbing stronger than steel. * Mech-venom paralyzes mechanical victims. * Feeds on raw Energon siphoned from machines. In another life, she was Elita-1, an energetic, spunky Autobot Academy cadet. That was until a fateful trip to Archa Seven, where her teammates abandoned her to a horde of alien spiders. Now calling herself Blackarachnia, she hates her new body with a passion. Her loathing of her organic parts is slowly driving her insane, and she will do anything to get rid of them, no matter whom she has to crush in her path. Her mutation fueled a newfound hatred of the Autobot cause and a quest for revenge that led her to join Megatron in his war against them. However, she does not appear overly loyal to her leader. In her mutant technorganic form, she makes use of her newfound 'cyber venom' to paralyze her enemies, and combines this with her natural ability to download and mimic other Transformers' traits and weaponry for a limited amount of time with a simple touch. Hope nobody told Lockdown. A thousand stellar cycles ago or so, a young cadet received the name "Elita-1" from her instructor, Kup Minor. Transformers Animated: The AllSpark Almanac II Elita-1 and her teammates found their way to Archa Seven, looking for a Decepticon ship filled with energon when they accidentally fell into a series of caves. They were ambushed by giant spiders and, when escaping the massive energon explosion caused by the battle, Elita ended up being left behind. When she tried using her ability to borrow powers from other beings, she was injected by the spiders' venom, turning her into a hideous freak. Because of her new, semi-organic nature, her signal did not appear on Optimus's radar, leading him and Sentinel to believe that she had perished in the explosion. This was the incident that caused Optimus to be tossed out of the Autobot academy. • Blackarachnia is based on the original Blackarachnia, who first appeared in the Beast Wars franchise. • A non-final character model for Blackarachnia was included in the initial Transformers Animated press kit from Cartoon Network, was used briefly (in silhouette) for her first appearance in "Transform and Roll Out", and appears on the Deluxe figure's packaging. Though the toy shares the non-final model's spider-leg placement in robot mode, black belly, dark purple skin, and yellow Decepticon symbol, the rest of the toy adheres much more closely to the finished model. • The initial Transformers Animated press kit from Cartoon Network also said that Blackarachnia's techno-organic state was caused by "an encounter with the ALLSPARK" in the past. Given her actual in-show origin, either this was an early idea for the character, or the press release writer was misinformed. • As Blackarachnia, what seemed to be her new head is actually a helmet that was lying around in the wrecked Decepticon warship where she had her accident. After seeing her without it in "Predacons Rising", you can understand why she wore it. • Blackarachnia is the only major Animated character not to have a detailed on-screen transformation. • As Elita-1, her head seems to be based on the pony-tailed Ariel, the younger form of Elita One, while her body's ornamentation homages Elita One herself. • According to Derrick J. Wyatt, Elita-1's alternate mode is a "Cybertronian car". [1] • Apparently, Blackarachnia was quite the scientist even before she was introduced to Prometheus Black's genetics experiments. According to the AllSpark Almanac, Blackarachnia introduced the concept of Triple-Changing to the Decepticon ranks when she rebuilt Blitzwing after the Great War. • Blackarachnia has a faceplate, which is seen in The Arrival issues 1 and 4, but never in the show itself. Blackarachnia has a fanmode, in which he looks pregnant, I have not been able to locate an image of this though, I can say her spider’s butt becomes her pregnant belly. Blackarachnia was given voice by Cree Summer an American voice actress. She is best known for roles such as Penny on Inspector Gadget, Elmyra on Tiny Toons, Hyena on Gargoyles, Susie Charmichael on Rugrats and All Grown Up, Foxxy Love on Drawn Together, Numbuh 5 on Codename Kids Next Door and as the voice of the Green M&M. Up next is the Mech, the Legend, the Chin!
