This was thought up between Raven1972 and I. A possible fantasy RP scenario, with a bit of added sci-fi elements (Transformers *shot*), we can, hopefully, all roleplay in, once we have it all planned out. This was thought up between Everyone is welcomed to join; all you need are your Muses or other OCs. For those wishing to join, don’t hesitate to tell us. For now, this RP is open-ended and in a developmental stage right now. Feel free to contribute your ideas and opinions for this RP. Other than discussing ideas here, this is also a place to put your character’s info here. As some of us will be using our Muses and OCs, slightly modification will be allowed/needed on your characters to fit in with the world. This can range from their personality to their personal histories. TemeculaTemecula is the name of the world where the RP takes place. Living on it are a multitude of races that stretch from human and elves, to orcs and goblins. Origin and History of TemeculaThe world of Temecula is a land of swords and sorcery. A vast realm of various races, divided into many kingdoms and provinces. It is said that Temecula was formed by the goddess using her divine power and grace. She soon breathed life into the earth and molded the races of Temecula with loving care. After her work was done, the goddess watched as her children grew and prospered on the land she created for them, happy to find them content and grateful for the life given to them. But that soon shattered when her creations begin to bicker and argue between each other. Soon these seething emotions flared into full-fledged wars as the goddess’ children fought one another. This distressed the goddess greatly, shocking her. The sudden burst of emotion from the goddess was felt throughout all of Temecula as calamity struck. Tsunamis and great sea storms sunk whole continents, lighting speared from the heavens, the earth trembled and was torn asunder, and mountains erupted into pillars of fire and lava, raining hot brimstone over the surface. Those days of their near annihilation is known by all on Temecula as the Divine Cataclysm. Seeing the destruction wrought by her own powers, the goddess despaired and quickly calmed herself as she slowly rebuilt the world from the ruins and ashes. Only a handful of her children survived the great disasters and regretted their action that had disturbed their creator so. Once Temecula was pieced together, the goddess, exhausted by the ordeal, went into slumber. But not before the survivors vowed that they will never raise their blades against one another. Some years passed and the races of the Temecula have formed kingdoms and restored their once destroyed glory. But they never stuck to their promise as conflict and the cries of war soon echoed through the land.

(Yay! It's up!) Writer's just asked me to add that there will be classes, eg mage, king, queen, archer, soldier. I guess these are the main ones but once more people join the exact classes will be up for discussion. Okay, Phoenix's stats as they stand Name: ? Known As: Phoenix, Your Highness, His Highness etc. Class: Elven (crown)prince Weapon Proficiency: sword, bow, staff, knives Weapon(s) of Choice: sword, staff (though he doesn't have a staff with him) Magic type: Light magic Appearance: He looks like Reyson from Radiant Dawn only without the wings and with a sword. Realm:Phoenix lives in a strange kingdom. After the Divine Cataclysm (which Writer explains below) the Elves cut themselves off by claiming a largish swathe of plain around their forest, in which the Earth Elves live, and then retreating from it. This they did because they feared they would go mad if they befriended their mortal neighbours and had to watch generation upon generation die of old age. Whether the Elves die of old age eventually is yet to be seen for not enough time has passed after the Cataclysm, but one thing is sure; once they become adults the only part of them that shows age is their eyes. In a white city nestled against the mountains' foothills surrounded by forest live the Light Elves. And Phoenix is a Light Elf. Situation:At the time of these events, Phoenix is still young for an Elf - 870 - and has never before gone beyond the eaves of the Elf-Forest. But now rumours are afoot that their neighbours are encroaching slowly yet surely on the Elves' plains so the prince is sent out to patrol the boarders and find out if this is true. But where are the boarders anyway? Personality:Phoenix is a fine leader in his father's realm but, like all Elves except the Elders - those who survived the Cataclysm - he knows nothing about his neighbours, their cultures and their technologies. Almost everything is new to him, and his highly strung nature isn't exactly helpful in this situation. But his ignorance makes him all the more eager to learn; and his isolation and loneliness abroad make him all the more eager to form friendships with those he finds trustworthy. However his personality isn't the easiest to be friends with. Differences in Phoenix's personality/ situation:- He's about 6,000 years younger than he is in real life - He has two older sisters, in real life he's an only child - Nothing bad's happened to him so far so he's not been tortured, therefore no voices but he still has mood swings even though they aren't so severe- His appearance hasn't been changed so he can still blush XD - He's not married. In fact he has no love interests. An from what I've heard before he got married he was quite a good flirt. - Depending on how you view him, he's more highly strung in this RP than normal... Family:His sisters both look slightly different to Leanne from FEand neither of them have wings. I may do a more in depth thing on them later Magic: The Light Elves can form magic using just their minds and hands but to make their magic more powerful, royalty and high lords can draw Y Golaullath, or The Lightwand, apparently from nowhere. This staff is very thin, just over 5' long and made of brilliant white, polished ivory. It is said to contain the light of the Divine, but obviously no-one's going to saw it in two to check. I've drawn a picture of it but I need an A3 scanner to scan it in so that'll have to wait until Friday when I have access to one. Sorry, this post is getting quite long but I want to keep all the info together. I think that's everthing now.

As Eli said, more classes might be created and we'll discuss about them. The creation of classes is basically for the battle-aspect of the RP so others will know who their characters are fighting against. Classes will also determine the strength and weaknesses of your character, how physically strong they are, how fast they are, how resistant they are to magic, and what their choice of weapons are.
Anyways, after a bit of talk with Eli; we came up with how the Elven realm is like. Some of these are quoted off of Eli. I hope you don't mind! It's one realm ruled over by a royal family, but the lands are divided up into regions like provinces and states. The Elven realm encompasses a grand city, a wood, and the plains that make its borders. The Elven government system consists of a large court and two lower ones; one for the city, one for the woods and one for the plains. Because it is difficult for the Elves the maintain their borders, some of them believe that the other neighboring kingdoms are encroaching on their territory. Basically, the Elven realm is too large and its population too low to properly control itself. There is the possible idea we have of the Elven realm severing all interactions with the outside world and becoming a hermit-like kingdom. Because of this, every new generation of the Elves bear less and less children. Some of the older Elves become mad with grief as they watch their race wither and slowly decay to extinction.
And you're welcome, Eli! ^_^
During a MSN conversation, we've discussed that Phoenix was sent out to see if the rumors of the other realms invading their borders was true.

...Don't think I said about the Elves' population dying out; I said that they isolated themselves because they couldn't bear to see generation after generation of mortals dying. But no matter. -xD-
-hopes other people post soon-
Do you think we should have a limit on how many characters people can play?

Ack, sorry about that, Eli. XP But yes, what Eli said Don’t listen to me. XD EDITOkay, this is Skipbeat’s profile for Temecula. I’ve edited it a bit to look more like what Eli did, I hope you don’t mine. ^_^ Name: Skipbeat Known As: Prince Skipbeat, the Prince, the young Prince, Sir, (dear/dearest) Brother, Skip, and Your Majesty (does not like to be called this) Class: Prince Weapon Proficiency: Elemental magic and swords Weapon(s) of Choice: Wind tomes and his rapier. Appearance: He looks like Pelleas from Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, except… just try to imagine him more… er… robotic and without hair. XD Just frame that facial expression in your head and you’ll be able to see what Skip is like. And, if you can, mix Pelleas with these two images of Skipbeat. It's probably going to be weird. Sorry. XD PersonalitySkipbeat lacks self-confidence and many significant leadership qualities. He is rather indecisive and weak-willed, especially against the corrupted senators, who never cease in badgering and bullying the young Prince. But, despite this, his love for his country burns strongly. He sets the happiness and safety of his kingdom above himself and will do anything to ensure that it survives and the sufferings of his people are alleviated. FamilyThe late king and queen of Skipbeat’s realm were the young Prince’s mother and father. After their recent war, many members of the Royal Line had given their life to protect their borders. Only six members of the Royal Line are still left alive. The only person left that is related to Skipbeat, by blood, is his younger sister, the Princess Windsprint. Aside from her are the four remaining members of the Royal Knights; Earthshock, Heatwave, Galestorm, and Coldsnap, those who were sworn to the protection of the Royal Family. All six of them are related by the fact that they are of the same, unknown race that fell from the stars. Because of their dwindling numbers, the six of them are rather close and feel the looming threat of their possible end. HistorySkipbeat hails from a line of metal beings that fell from the stars to Temecula some time after the Divine Cataclysm (the disaster that struck the world during the goddess’ emotional distress). Skipbeat’s ancestors landed in a farmer’s field and caused great shock among the villagers. Their initial impression on Skipbeat’s ancestors was that they believed that they were demons planning to conquer the world. Out of fear, the villagers decided to call for mercenaries and adventures willing to drive away the “demons” for a bit of gold. Meanwhile, Skipbeat’s ancestors understood that they were creating a frightening impression for the natives and kept their distance. One day, a vicious storm struck the village, causing the nearby river to swell. The village was soon flooded and stricken with mudslides. Wondering about the well-being of the villagers, Skipbeat’s ancestors ventured out of hiding to find the villagers running about to keep the village from being swept away. Moved by the villager’s plight, Skipbeat’s ancestors, despite their current reputation, descended down to aid the villagers. After that day, the villager welcomed his ancestors with open arms and began to believe that they were sent by the goddess herself to guide them to a golden era of peace and prosperity. Years passed and, with their knowledge and whatever technology they had salvaged, united the surrounding villages and formed a thriving kingdom. However, not everything is well. Because of their sudden appearance and slightly advance technology, Skipbeat’s realm and ancestors garnered the attention of malicious and envious eyes. The history of Skipbeat’s kingdom is one stained with the blood of numerous wars as his ancestors fought to defend their borders and newly found home from invaders. Added with the fact they are not native to Temecula, many of the neighboring kingdoms do not acknowledge Skipbeat and his kind as equals, nor do they recognize their nation as independent. Most of the relations between the other realms are stressed or unfriendly, in worst cases. Currently, the kingdom is rebuilding from their recent war, which took the lives of the king and queen. Skipbeat is prince of the kingdom and still regards himself as such of his realm despite the passing of his mother and father, the previous queen and king. The young Prince is adamant with his decision to postpone his crowning until he is of age. He feels himself unprepared for being king of his own realm, deciding to wait and taking those years, before becoming an adult, to learn everything about being a leader. Different Between the Realm and Temecula- He has lost his usual stutter - He is slightly younger by two to three years - He was born on Temecula and not on the homeworld of his ancestors - He doesn’t have his usual disorders; dependency on sound and auditory hallucinations If anyone is wondering where Eli and I are getting these images, they are from the video game, Fire Emblem. There is a site where they have the official artworks of Fire Emblem. Serenes ForestJust click on "Gallery."

Mirage: was once a hunter of turbo foxes, now is a sniper and hunter of Decepticons. he is a deadly accurate marksman and takes perverse pleasure in stalking and killing an assigned target. become agitated when something fouls his shot. okay now Delta's profile for this RP Delta is an Autobot youngling who looks like Ross from the Sacred Stones, except more mechanical and without hair. He was brought on board a small ship built by his father and escaped Cybertron with his parents, just before it was destroyed. They soon discovered they did not have enough energon for all three of them to make it to Earth, so they decided to give their son what they had to ensure his survival and so slowly starved to death to save Delta, but the autopilot malfunctioned and the ship crashed on Temecula and he lost his memory, only retaining his name his body was badly damaged and his Autobot emblem was destroyed. he was taken in by the royal family.

Raven!!! You’re on! X3 *glomps you* Sorry. XD Love how dark the Autobots are, fits perfectly with the tragedy that struck their and Skipbeat’s kind. *goes to stab Cliffjumper* You is a naughty, naughty mech and must be punished!!!
Anyways, all of you know that Temecula is a world of magic. After sharing with Eli and Raven, we have all decided that the arcane arts consist of six elements. These are earth, fire, wind, water, light, and dark. The first four combine together is known as elemental magic. The hierarchy of power in magic is like a rock-paper-scissor game. Water beats fire, fire beats wind, wind beats earth, and earth beats water. Any of these four magic can beat light, light beats dark, and dark can beat any of the elemental magic.
All of the races of Temecula can wield magic, but most of them require the use of mediums, such as staves and tomes, to harness its powers. Certain races; however, do not need to use such mediums, only their mind and hands to cast a spell.
Earth magic consists of rocks, the shaking of the earth, and the powers of Nature. Fire magic consists of… fire, lava, and heat. Wind magic consists of wind, itself, sound and lightning. Water magic consists of water, itself, ice and vapor. These four schools of magic are most commonly practiced by mages. Light magic consists of light in its many forms and is seen by many as the divine power of the goddess and is only practiced by those who work under her faith and name. Dark magic is seen as a taboo and feared by many, believed to be an evil that defies the goddess. Practitioners of dark magic are few, sparse and have obscured themselves from the public eye.
There is a possibility to include a corrupted form of the six elements of magic. This magic is known, among the magic community as fallen magic. This type of magic was invented by a group of mages who dabbled and experimented on the nature of the arcane arts. They soon created, what many consider, a perverse form of the six elements. This type of magic, when casted on others, not only strikes them with a spell, but inflicts misfortune and ailments upon them. Horrified by such an artificial creation, the heads of the magic community banished these mages to a desolate land and not much has been heard of them.

Hey, great profile, Bas. ^_^ If you have any questions, we can always discuss it. Also, we’re still discussing the races of Temecula and have yet to come to that, but shapeshifters are a possibility. I’ve edited Skipbeat’s profile a bit. Just a note to everyone; while this RP is inspired from Fire Emblem, it isn’t solely based off of the game. The medieval fantasy element of the Fire Emblem game is prominent in the RP, so this will be a great RP for those who like the fantasy genre. The next few profiles I’m doing are going to be of the four Royal Knights. The Royal Knights are those who are dedicated to the safety and protection of the Royal Family. The majority of them consisted of members of the Royal Line, those of the same race as the Prince and Princess. The members of the Royal Knights ranged from swordmasters to great mages, all of them famous for their incredible skills in the art of combat and magic. Some of them are generals and commanders of the army of Skipbeat’s kingdom. Today, the members of the Royal Knight have dwindled greatly as many of them have sacrificed themselves to defend the kingdom’s borders during the previous war. Name: Earthshock Known As: General Earthshock, Sir Earthshock, Sir, Milord, and my Lord. Class: Axe General Weapon Proficiency: Axes and hammers Weapon(s) of Choice: A hammer named Judgement. Appearance: He looks like Tauroneo from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn except, like Skipbeat, should appear more robotic and less organic. PersonalityEarthshock is noted for his unfathomable patience and ability to stay even-headed even when in the middle of chaos or being aggravated. Years of experience has taught him that blind rage can often lead to one’s downfall in the field of battle. He does not tolerate injustice and people preying on the weak, but is willing to be merciful to violators. FamilyLike with the other members of the Royal Line, they are close with one another. The younger members of the Royal Line see him as a father figure. He is married to one of the Royal Knight, Galestorm. The pair was meant to have children, but it was soon found out that Galestorm was unable to bear any. This caused the couple much grief for the years to follow; however, they grew closer as a result with Earthshock providing a strong shoulder for his wife to cry on. HistoryEarthshock is the oldest of the four surviving Royal Knights and was born some years before the previous war that took the lives of the late king and queen of the kingdom. When the kingdom came under attack, Earthshock gladly took up his blade to defend his homeland. His parent soon perished in battle, along with the parents of the other four Royal Knights, as time went on. Victory was soon achieved, but not without the cost of countless lives of their kind. Upon hearing the news of the falling of the king and queen, Earthshock, along with the last three Royal Knight, passed the news to the young heirs with heavy hearts. After the war, Earthshock, with the surviving Royal Knights, vowed to keep the young Prince and Princess safe from harm and to train them to defend themselves, if the need arose, in the name of the late king and queen.

AAAH IT'S FINALLY DONE! Introducing, Janus--Temecula style. Name: Janus Known As: Janus Class: Hunter Weapon Proficiency: Bows and wind magic, though he won’t use magic unless under great duress, if even then Weapon(s) of Choice: His crossbow and his hunting knife. He keeps a staff with him, but doesn’t use it. Appearance: He resembles Nasir from Radiant Dawn, except his hair is a dark blond in color and his clothes are made of animal pelts and hide. Otherwise, totally accurate. Janus’ ability to shapeshift won’t be included in this, so he won’t be changing his physical appearance unless he cuts his hair or something. PersonalityJanus hasn’t had much contact with people in awhile, but tries to be as civil as he can when he does meet others. While he is wary of others, he’s more apt to give those he meets the benefit of the doubt rather than automatically distrust them. However, he also isn’t one to give second changes when his trust is tested. His solitary and nomadic life has given him a new affinity for nature. He is quite adaptable, proven by his transition from a stationary life in a village quite suddenly to a nomadic lifestyle. He is good at assessing situations and doesn’t jump to conclusion until he has every detail he believes he needs—probably could have been a great scholar, but never really had the chance. While he must hunt to have food and clothing, he does his best to honor his respect for nature, never killing any more than he absolutely needs. A lover of music, he carries his mandore with him everywhere. Don’t ask him what he uses to restring it unless you’re not easily grossed out, and don’t call it a lute unless you want to be told every single difference between a lute and a mandore. You’ve been warned. FamilyJanus’ family as he was growing up was somewhere in the middle. They had all they needed to survive and be happy, and their daily lives relied quite strongly on magic. He had one younger brother and they lived with their parents. Later, Janus had a family of his own, a wife and a young son, similar in class to his family growing up, somewhere in the middle. His lost his family when their village was destroyed. HistoryJanus grew up in a cabin with his mother, father, and four-years younger brother Haeus. His hometown was a very small, very secluded area, and was founded and run by magic users. It was something of a safe haven for some of the very few who practice dark magic—as long as they were good people, they could remain there to study without any negative judgment. It would eventually be this acceptance that ruined them Janus lived a happy and normal enough life. A family of dark magic practitioners persecuted by their previous hometown found the village when he was in his late teens; a mother and father, a son a year older than Janus, and two daughters. He developed a close friendship with the eldest daughter of the family, Vivana, who he would marry at the age of twenty. They stayed in the village, seeing no need to venture out into the forest surrounding it and leave such a peaceful place behind. They had a son after two years, Marten. When Marten was four, a group of dark magic practitioners arrived at the village, seeking shelter after running for persecution for months. After a mandatory evaluation, they were granted permission by the village elders to stay. Their lies weren’t known until that night; the small group had only been a part of a much larger group bent on overtaking the town and using it as a haven for their band of rejects. Resistance on the part of the townspeople resulted in a fight, and the villagers found themselves unable to stand up to the powers of this strong guild of fallen magic practitioners. Janus attempted to protect his family but was cast aside with no issue; lying injured in the den of his home, he watched a cloaked man kill Vivana as she protected Marten, before he lost consciousness himself. He awoke much later in the forest around the village, though not far from it. Unaware of how he had gotten there, he made his way carefully back to find much of the place burned and abandoned, no doubt during the struggle, leaving the village he had once called home uninhabitable. The bodies were all gone, no doubt thrown off in the woods somewhere—after retrieving a few belongings from his own home (or what was left of it, only the bedrooms in the back), he searched the perimeters of the village and eventually found a pile of remains burned beyond recognition—the only obvious thing was that they were definitely human. The pile wasn’t large enough to be the entire village, but he soon found more of them. Janus assumed they had decided to get rid of the bodies and check to see if the town was inhabitable after the scuffle, assumed it wasn’t and left. It was hours before he gave up hope of finding anyone alive—perhaps some had made it out and were already gone, perhaps he was the only one. He left the town and the desert with only the clothes on his back, his lute in hand, a crossbow and darts, a hunting knife in his boot, and his staff. Built so far away from any other civilization, Janus began adapting to nature as he searched for another town, and eventually abandoned his search in favor of a nomadic life—as long as he stayed moving, he could only get further away from the past. He stopped using magic eventually as he grew to regard it with great contempt as the evil that had destroyed his life, his family and neighbors, the home he had known for his entire life. Different Between the Realm and Temecula- Janus does not have amnesia here; he remembers his past perfectly well, just chooses not to regard it. - He doesn’t have his shapeshifting abilities. - He is NOT a faun. Where he is the same is in his love for music and nature, and much of his personality; the Janus we know and love is wary of humans but will give us the benefit of the doubt until we break his trust. Janus is very easy to mold into a new character due to his shapeshifting ability and general adaptability. That more or less sums him up. I've got a few more characters coming.

Awesome profile, Comma. ^_^ But I feel so sad for Janus. *sniff* >: Anyways, here’s the second Royal Knight, Heatwave. ^_^ Name: Heatwave Known As: General Heatwave, Lady Heatwave, Milady, and my Lady Class: Swordmistress Weapon Proficiency: Swords Weapon(s) of Choice: A sword named Durendal. Appearance: She looks like Mia from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn, but slightly older and, like all the members of the Royal Line, has robotic and mechanical features and no hair. PersonalityYoungest of the four Royal Knights, the spirit of her youth burn brightly. She is optimistic by nature and fiery in the field of battle. In times of despair and sorrow, she is the only one who will remain looking towards a brighter future and work that. She’s confident in her swordsmanship and willing to teach others her tricks and trades. FamilyYounger sister of Galestorm, the two of them a very close, especially during those dark times when her older sister despaired over the children she would never have because of her own defect. Like with the younger members of the Royal Line, she views Earthshock as a father figure. Aside from Galestorm, Heatwave sees the Princess as a younger sister, and so trusts her with some of her secrets. Other than that, she is Skipbeat’s personal trainer of the blades and is elated to find the Prince a fast-learner. HistoryHeatwave was born a few years before the recent war of the kingdom broke out. Because of her young age, she was kept confined inside the castle walls as at the war raged. Discontent with her idle and useless way of life, Heatwave enlisted herself into the kingdom’s army and began her training as a Royal Knight. Though her training was rather rushed, she learned quickly out in the battlefield and managed to steel her brash tendencies. Rather than despair upon hearing the death of her parents, Heatwave never lost her fervor to defend her homeland as she fought against her enemies with a newfound flame. However, the death of the late king and queen of the kingdom gave her pause as she joined the remaining Royal Knights to pass the heart wrenching news to the Prince and Princess. Like with the other three Knights, Heatwave swore to ensure the safety of the young heirs by training Prince in swordsmanship.

Thanks Writer! *glomp* =3 And I've definitely enjoyed yours so far ^_^ And here's my least enthusiastic character. He didn't actually agree to let me do this, he just sort of keeps shrugging about it. He's mad at me and not talking to me much, so I took advantage of the opportunity. *evilgrin* Anyway, here's Al! Name: Allen O’Rinn Known As: Al Class: Swordmaster Weapon Proficiency: Swords Weapon(s) of Choice: While he prefers using broadswords, he can settle for a longsword or a claymore. Appearance: He resembles Lloyd from FE Blazing Sword, but his hair is red (as in red-orange, not bright red) and he has freckles. He’s also a bit more on the muscular side, though not nearly as much as the typical Fighter build. He may or may not wear more armor; it depends on if he’s on a job at the time or not. However, any armor he wears will likely be only light armor to partial-heavy armor. Also, he looks a little more trustworthy than Lloyd. They’ve got very similar facial features, but Al just looks more trustworthy. Maybe it’s the freckles. PersonalityAl is the absolute epitome of calm. Getting him angry—or at least getting him to show he’s angry—is a near impossible feat. This isn’t so much patience as it is self-restraint. He can lose his patience, but odds are he won’t show any signs of this if he does. His disposition is serious regardless of his situation—it can be hard to tell when he’s joking with you. This disposition only lightens when he drinks, and he is quite fond of drinking. When he has spare time or money, both are generally spent at the nearest pub. He can be quite untrustworthy at times. He will accept impossible missions if he’s offered half the pay up front, and then simply abandon his employer and search for new work. Any jobs he is hired for that he thinks he might be capable of, he sees them through to the end. He’s gained a reputation for it, and is regarded as a risky type of person to hire as a mercenary, but he’s good at what he does when he does it, so he manages to find work. He isn’t one to keep friends, nor is he one to hold grudges; for the most part, he sees personal relations as a hindrance in his field of work, especially in the event that he’s hired to kill a friend or offered a great deal of money to assist an enemy. Nevertheless, he is very civil with people and respectful to his superiors. When he does hold a grudge, however, he sees it through to the end. FamilyAl never knew his mother, nor did he know if he had any siblings. Al’s father had been a mercenary himself, so Al was forced to do quite a bit of travelling with him for work. His father was his teacher in the trade of sword fighting and, due to the short time spent in each place they lived, the only friend he ever really had. His father was recognized in many places as many different things—a hero, the essence of absolute evil, a great swordsman, a drunken idiot. Al only knew him as a father and a hard worker, and strived through most of his life to emulate him. His father was killed on a mission when Al was in his late teens. To make the money he needed to live, Al took up his father’s sword and went into the mercenary business himself—he never bothered trying to start a family. Though he wonders frequently of the whereabouts of his mother and whether or not he might have any siblings or half-siblings somewhere, he hasn’t taken the initiative to search for her. HistoryAl was born to parents Connor and Una O’Rinn, who were already having some problems before he was born, mostly over Connor’s profession keeping him away so often. Una left her husband for a wealthy man when Al was two years old, leaving the mercenary no option but to take the toddler with him on his travels. Al was left with babysitters until he was old enough to stay at home on his own when his father was out on missions. In his time off, Al’s father began teaching him sword fighting at around the age of six—rather uneducated himself and unable to afford schooling for Al, it was all he had to offer. Al would spend the better part of his own free time practicing, and regularly assured his father that he would soon be strong enough to go out and help him with his work. He recognized at an early age that he was a hindrance to his father and wished to do all he could to help his only family. Al grew into a skilled swordsman, but as Al grew strong enough to finally be of a help his father, he accepted the mission that would be his last. He was to disband a group of rogues that had formed in the region they were currently in. It was a low-paying and apparently simple job—these were smalltime bandits who were believed to be made of nothing but their own bluffs—but it was a matter of convenience rather than amount of money. These bandits, seemingly in a stroke of luck, managed to kill him. Al had very little time to mourn the loss of his only loved one. With no one to support him but himself, he took up his father’s sword and began working as a mercenary himself, taking small jobs to scrape together enough money to keep himself alive. He managed to gain himself enough of a reputation over the next few years to take higher paying jobs and live quite a bit more comfortably even with his constant travels. All the while, he frequented the taverns and cafes in hope to catch word of the group of bandits that had killed his father. He finally gathered enough information to discover that the leader of this group was calling himself Sean, and was gathering people to help him in his quest to kill the prince of Glendaeth before he could take over the throne. Al travelled to this kingdom and found that the rumors had indeed reached here—and had been confirmed. Sean and his growing army of rogues and bandits had taken out a large number of the kingdom’s own knights, and they were looking to hire mercenaries. Al sought audience with the current king over the job and discovered that most of the funds for hiring mercenaries had already been allocated. Al offered to join them for very little money and thus managed to coerce the King into agreeing. In the current timeline, he is waiting at the castle gates with the rest of the mercenaries for this Sean character and his unit to arrive. Different Between the Realm and Temecula- Need I even say it? He isn’t from Ireland in this, given Ireland doesn’t… exist. - He’s not a con artist. He will con people occasionally, but it’s not his job. - He doesn't personally know Don, nor does he know Pat since he's not in this RP, and he only knows of Sean. - He doesn’t have his revolver and is very angry with me about this. Still though, he’s the same old Al otherwise. Same age of twenty-eight, same appearance except his regular attire is replaced with armor and medieval wear in general, same serious attitude until he gets drunk, still looks a great deal more trustworthy than he actually is… still has issues with Sean. Yeah.

So this is a photo of my drawing of the Elves' Lightwand. The main stick is white; the metal band, pommel and tassel are gold and the little bead at the top of the tassel - yes there is one - is blueish-turquoise. Here's the photo again, this time roughly coloured. Come Saturday-ish I'll change the b/w link to a scanned in picture. Right, character profiles: I'll do both Phoenix's sisters together seeing as their personalities aren't that important and they share the same situation as Phoenix. Names: Lianna, Glaslyn Known As: Lianna, Glaslyn, Your Highness(es) etc Class: Elven princesses (Phoenix's older sisters) Weapon Proficiency: sword, bow, daggers, knives Weapon(s) of Choice: Lianna: bow and daggers Glaslyn: sword Magic type: Light magic Appearance: both look similar to Leanne from Radiant Dawn but sufficiently different to make them sisters rather than identical twins. Ages: Lianna: 5480 Glaslyn: 3175 The only important thing about their personalities so far is that Lianna was heir to the throne until Phoenix turned 800 so there is still a little bit of resentment there. They come quite late on to give Phoenix bad news (and tell everyone else his 'real' name, yay! (not actually his real name but his real name in the RP)) In real life they don't exist...

Where do you fine these names, Eli? I'm terrible in thinking up names, especially with human and non-human characters. >_> Tranformers; they're easy because all you is the name of a random vocab/name of an inanimate object or force. A mechanical element in the name is recommended. XD Anyways, going off tangent. Since most of won't be able to meet together and discuss about the Temecula RP during the weekdays, all of us should, maybe, post a single question, or issue, about the RP we can all discuss about when the weekends come about. What do you guys say? ^_^

@writer: Welsh XD 'Glaslyn' glas=blue, lyn from llyn=lake 'Y Golaullath' Y=The, Golau=light, llath= wand. But since Welsh has mutations it'll be just my luck and 'll''ll mutate when second in a compound word ><
'Lianna' comes from the game of The Hobbit, she was an OC.
Phoenix: Lianna is real! -raps Eli on head with the inspiration for the Lightwand-
I have a question! Are we going to try and fit the realms onto the Radiant Dawn/ Path of Radiance map? Or is that merely a guide? And if the latter, how are we going to know whose realm borders whose?
