Because people used to sell chese on them and the cheese made drivers calm, but then the aliens came and turned all the cheese sellers into pigeons and ate all the cheese, so now the islands no longer calm people. But they decided to leave the name in rememberance of the poor cheese sellers.
Why can I come up with rediculous stories so easily?
