This ancient beech forest looks spectacular all year round. You are welcome to explore but be warned; there is Elven magic in the air, the trees walk and the streams are enchanted. If your feet get tired, there are a few ‘flets’ dotted about high above your heads for increased resting comfort (good luck finding them though) and a strange, small building which seems part of the forest, but it can’t be found unless you know where to look. The forest obeys just one person, Phoenix of course, but he rarely visits. If you see him, avoid him; he is as dangerous as the fantastical creatures that obey no one and hungrily watch your every move from the shadows. If you must talk to him manners are paramount: he may not be able to imprison you but he has other tricks up his sleeve...

An orange leaf fell from one of the branches above. It drifted lazily down towards the forest floor. Purple eyes followed its predictable trajectory. A smile played on the lips as the little girl blew at the leaf. Bit by bit the leaf began to shimmer as ice crystals formed on its surface. Eva caught her latest gem before it fell to the ground. Proudly the six-year-old held it up to show the older girl sitting among the branches. Her lips formed a semi-pout. The brunette was ignoring her again.
“Vylette!” She called.
“Vylette, look!”
Violette blinked a little. Immediately, the teen glanced down. Her shoulders relaxed a little. The kidling was safe. She sighed. How they landed up here was still a mystery. The girl could have sworn that she knew the forests surrounding Diabolus Sileo like the back of her hand. Mother was right. One simply can’t trust the Realm. It was craftier than the average fox, and more fickle than a canary. She wished she could relax. She simply can’t. Trees were usually friendly, but the ones here were more sullen. They barely talk to one another, so she doubted they would talk to her.
“Vylette!”
An amused smile graced the teen’s lips. The naughty child was persistent. Throwing her legs down, Violette leaped from where she sat, and landed soundlessly on the leaf strewed forest floor. The nymph-like girl stretched out her hand to indicate that she was willing to see the leaf Eva wanted to show her. Eva beamed proudly as she placed the thawing leaf onto the teen’s palm.
“Pwetty right?”
Violette quirked an eyebrow, and Eva quickly switched to her mother tongue. It was a curious bastardized version of Latin. The frown subsided. Violette nodded and mimed that it would look pretty in Eva’s silvery white hair. The little girl crossed her arms and shook her head stubbornly.
“Non!”
The older girl smiled as she attempted to put the leaf in Eva’s hair anyway. The kidling stuck her tongue out before teleporting behind the Violette. The brunette chased the little girl as she pretended to be engrossed in their impromptu game of tag. It ought to be safer if they keep moving rather than staying in one place. Sooner or later they should be able to figure their way out of here.

Ascatal and his Fairy companion drifted into the forest attracted by an odd feeling from it and began to explore but after a few minutes they had lost track of which direction the forest edge lie so Ascatal climbed the tallest tree he could locate for a look around and saw naught but trees.
Ascatal dropped down from the tree and climbed to get a better from and turned to the fairy he has entered the forest with and said " Elves live here or did so once, and not that long ago, the aura of the things they did here still lingers strongly , one thing is strange they are not of my people and yet still are elves."
"That is indeed odd , i also heard something unusual, two female voices nearby not sure what way , this forest confused the sound." Emmy replied.
" Silence friend, let me listen, mayhaps my elvish ears will prove more able to locate the direction in which they voice came from."

Nyala dropped from her position in the canopy, dress tight to halfway down her thighs, flapping upwards from that point, then settling on her lower legs, red-brown hair flying wild before losing the wind again. She had seen no landmarks that she recognised. This could be interesting. The dryad felt the minds of the trees brushing against her own, thoughts whispering like leaves just under the surface. She considered how easy it would be to slip into them, into their conciousness. But that would be prying. And that was, of course, extremely rude. Social skills, Nyala. First impressions count.
Nyala wanted to talk to the trees, but thought better of it. There were whole social codes dictating when and why you could talk to someone else's trees. If, that is, these trees were claimed. She'd rather not risk anything, though. After millenia of life, she liked it too much to lose it. She left her mind and ears open for the trees, if they wanted to talk to her.
There were, however, other signs of life. Bright in her mind as a fire on an infra-red camera. One cluster in front and to the right, the other in front and to the left. She began walking towards the closest.
Her head ached, and her face almost wore a grimace. The trees had thrown her out at the wrong place! That or she had lost concentration. It had been a long time since she had left the Forest, she reasoned. Or perhaps this was the remains of the imprisoning magic. More likely that. The grimace turned into a scowl.

[Sorry I didn't join sooner... but I couldn't really because I didn't have an RP muse until a few days ago when Lovai wandered in ] As he tripped over a tree root for the umpteenth time, Wylofain cursed and nursed his bruised toes. He was sure now that the trees were tripping him up a-purpose, though if they really did answer to that uppity Elf he'd met that time a few days ago he wasn't surprised. He stuck his tongue out at a random trunk and kept stumbling along. 'Find me in the forest,' was what the blond had said, 'and I'll show you the ropes.' 'Will you be there to find?' 'Probably not, but go there anyway.' That was all the blond had said to him and yet he was here, as bidden... and the blond was not, as promised. The next tree root sent him sprawling flat on his face. He scrambled up and dusted the mud and leaves off his knees and coat -happily brown on brown doesn't really show - and kept going. The blond Elf and the brunette girl had given the impression there would be others in this realm and, seeing as he was here anyway, he decided to try and find some of them instead. As he looked up, sunlight shining off a small silvery-white thing caught his sharp eyes. As he looked closer, he could see that the silvery blob was in fact a head of hair. Wylofain smiled as he ran his fingers through his own white hair; the colour was common among his kin and, even though it was probable that white hair was all he and the small girl had in common, it was better than nothing. The juvenile Elf walked as quickly as he could towards her, and it seemed to him that now he had a purpose the trees left him alone... somewhat, he mentally added as he went flying again. His cheeks flushed - he was usually good with trees - and he slowed right down as he grew closer to the small group around the girl he had first seen.

[ asdoufaweifahkfwhf -crawls off to drag muses for writing- ] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Yeah, it's plain to see that baby you're beautiful and there's nothing with you; It's me - I'm a freak but thanks for loving me 'cause you're doing it perfectly "So this forest..."
"What about it?" Adam asked, looking over at Zach around Loki, who didn't seem all too happy to be playing wall. "It looks pretty much like every other forest I've seen." For the briefest moment, his eyes settled on the white bandage on Zach's neck, striking against the slightly coppery tone of the rune-caster's skin. The darkness in his head swirled faster and harder as his tongue felt suddenly dry, coaxing, promising strength if its thirst was quenched...
He wrenched his thoughts away and turned his gaze instantly to the ceiling of leaves above them. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Zach take a step away from him, and felt the very faint intrusion of his mind retreat back into himself. He's not sure if it's for Zach's sake, his own, or the one he belongs to.
Belongs?
"Have you actually seen many different forests?" Loki said (snarkily), dragging Adam out of his thoughts. The dark-haired singer ignored him.
Zach shrugged, not looking at Adam while he replied, "It's magical. We're not in your world anymore, and I trust you both will not do anything stupid." The last comment, Adam knew, was directed towards Loki, who just blinked at Zach and said innocently, "I never do anything stupid."
"Is that so?" Adam drawled, amused.
"You always do stupid things, Loki, you just don't think they're stupid because you're the one doing them." Zach bent and picked a twig from the floor. "Just watch yourself and try not to get into trouble."------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Ugh, I am so late. So very, very late. And now I have four muses in this RP...It's really hard to whittle it down when there are over sixty total! Ah!]
Kurt kicked up the leaves, spinning as they rained down around him and trying to ignore the almost physical weight of Tommy's attention on his back.
"If I'd known it was fall out here I wouldn't have worn black." There was a moment of silence. Then Callier stalked past him, wings trailing and sword in hand as her feet passed a few disconcerting inches from the ground. The falling leaves leaves passed through her form with only slightly more difficulty than they traversed the air. She didn't even glance at him.
Zander came next, hands in the pockets of his bomber jacket. Kurt fell in beside him, skipping in an effort to generate cheer.
"Like you Zander. Brown is perfect." He got a brief glance but no reply. "Not like Callier, she's all ice queen. Although her hair looks quite summery today." His blithe tone fell flat in the still silence.
"Guess that leaves you and me." Tommy's voice made him shudder just a little, hand creeping up to the bandage on his neck as his feet stopped moving of their own accord. "Woah!" He felt the heat of Tommy's body skirt him as he dodged to the side, arms out. "Don't scare me like that jailbait."
Kurt forced a smile. "Sorry."

Wylofain had chosen to ignore the two new groups of people, but when one of them called another 'Callier' he couldn't placate his curiosity.
Callier: the only reason Eldu was returning to this realm. The only name Wylofain had managed to catch while eavesdropping.
He thought he had to meet her and now seemed as good a time as any. Besides there was something he had to ask her. She was easy to spot, being the only woman in both the new groups, but that didn't make her easy to approach. She was floating for one thing, and seemed familiarly aloof and uncaring for another. But even so, the young Elf forced himself to change course so he crossed her path. Standing a respectful distance away from her, he bowed from the waist and asked, in his most submissive yet charming voice,
"Are you here looking for Eldu, too?"

Callier stopped dead as a new voice cut across her companions inane chatter. She dropped to the forest floor, form rapidly coalescing into something more corporeal as he sword came up, eyes flashing. Her tone remained even, though diamond could probably have shattered on the icicles hanging from it.
"I don't know who that is." She told the young man pleasantly enough. "But I'm simply here for a little peace and quiet."
Zander stopped in her peripheral vision, watching the white haired young man warily. Somewhere behind her she could hear Kurt and Tommy talking, apparently unperturbed by the appearance of the stranger.

Ascatal listened for a long while then said in a whisper " There are several groups of people with in this forest, i cannot be certain of manner of being they are although one group sounded Elvish after a fashion, quite different than the elves I know, I do not sense a threat from any of the groups but lets be wary for now. "
Emmy flew up a bit and looked into the distance and could not see anything but she could hear the voices after a few moments she came down and said " I agree , although the voices sound young, not sure for the elvish voices, as its hard to determine age with elvish folk, we should move on , i think that path on the left should bring us in contact with one of the groups, the one on the Right will lead us away. " Emmy said landing on the elf's shoulder.
" We go to the left, I think it best we try to learn more about the forest before we explore on on our own, and the elvish voices were in that direction and they are most likely to be the ones living here and if so they would be able to teach us all we need to know " Ascatal said then he silently headed down the left path deeper into the forest.

Wylofain's gaze flicked between Callier and one of her companions who had noticed him and was watching him now. He smiled nervously,
"And I'm probably breaking this peace and quiet. Sorry, I'll go," he turned and then turned back, "even if you don't know who he is, he knows you and I think he misses you." He turned away and drifted slowly, his confidence quashed, towards the first group he'd seen before remembering something. He span round again and looked at both the muses who were watching him with his dark amber eyes, "I'm Lovai, by the way, pleasure to meet you." He bobbed again and got out of Callier's way.

[ Yes, okay, so I had to bring him in... Also, I feel weird with my post designs o_e ] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ And it's no surprise when the last light dies And the girl upon the wooden floor Won't be dancing anymore And where do they go when the thrills have gone? And the last song plays down at Babylon Five hundred kids shout what's the deal? It's a very confusing way to feel A few meters ahead of the three walked the young designer, who didn't seem to be listening to Zach's warnings. Cinna kept well away from the three, not being particularly close to any of the three (he wouldn't mind getting to know Zach better, but the taller male was quite intimidating; he's not sure if it's who he answers to or just his general aura, but Cinna kept to himself).
"I don't see why I'm the one always having to put up with your ridiculous accusations of stupidity. It's not like I make an effort to run into banana peels daily."
"That's precisely my point, Loki. You don't make the effort to run into them, you just do. You're like a trouble magnet." Cinna heard Adam laugh at that, and wondered why (he didn't find it very funny, it's probably a cause for sadness, actually) but Loki spoke again.
"No, actually, I create the trouble," he corrected, haughty (Cinna could almost picture the tall man with his nose in the air, giving a derisive sniff). "You want to know who's a trouble magnet, look at superstar over here."
"Are you calling me a trouble magnet?" Adam demanded, but Cinna could tell he was mostly amused at the thought.
"Yes, actually, I am," Loki answered coolly. He probably would have said more but then Cinna spied a very familiar figure, and a smile broke over his face, accompanied buy the slight dusting of a blush that crept over the skin of his cheeks. He took a moment to steady himself before darting ahead. With a quick flick of his mind (because Michael would only let Loki go out if they were around to make sure he didn't do anything, well, stupid), he checked that Adam was out of earshot before calling in what would be considered a 'stage-whisper': "Kurt!"------------------------------------------------------------------------

[ xDawnie you are weird sweetie. S'why you're loved.] Callier blinked, eyes tracking the small figure. She was more unnerved by his accusations than anything but nevertheless her grip tightened on the sword. In this place there was only one person she could think of who might know her and the elf-boy. And if he was here there would most definitely be words. Zander trailed along in her wake, sullenly kicking at the leaves with his stained and battered converse. She didn't bother to look around at him. --- Kurt jumped as his name was called, spinning so quickly he almost ran into Tommy again. The blond jumped out of the way, scowling at him and pushing his hair back with glittery nails, expression obscured in an instant as it fell back forward. "Cinna!" Ignoring the bassist Kurt beamed, waving to the newcomer. "You're wearing black too." He frowned a little, looking up and shaking his head as he addressed the forest at large. "You know it'd be polite to let people know what season it was likely to be when they were visiting."

[ Chaos I'm glad you think so at least ] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ And it's no surprise when the last light dies And the girl upon the wooden floor Won't be dancing anymore And where do they go when the thrills have gone? And the last song plays down at Babylon Five hundred kids shout what's the deal? It's a very confusing way to feel At the look on Kurt's face, Cinna's lips curved shyly, eyes sparkling and light brown in the scattered autumn light. For a moment he didn't seem to hear what the younger boy said, and then he jumped and blushed, hoping he wasn't caught staring. He turned his gaze down on himself instead. "What's wrong with black?" he asked, just a tad defensive but mostly quiet, darting a look at Kurt (and turning pink again). "It goes well with everything. Including autumn."
Behind him he heard the snickering of Loki and the more irritated tone of Zach (probably annoyed with Loki and whatever he's saying) coming closer to them. Cinna tore his thoughts away from them and picked at the end of his black jacket.
"If it bothers you so much..." He frowned at the jacket, then, praying it'll work, spun slowly, eyes closed to avoid getting dizzy.
When he opened them again and looked down at the jacket, he saw the the top had remained stubbornly dark while rings of varying shades of reddish brown had spread from the bottom of the jacket , fading off into the black near the middle. He sighed at it, then looked up at Kurt almost apologetically. "It keeps happening, no matter what I do-"
"Tommy!" There was a relieved call and a piercing whistle, which was followed by another voice, "Kurt!" The second one, to Cinna, seemed to ring with dominance and subtle threat; knowing what could happen if he didn't heed the warning, he stepped further away from Kurt, turning to study the other muses he's never met before.
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Adam, Loki and Zach move up; Adam slipped his arms instantly around Kurt, pressing a kiss to his forehead before stepping back with a smile. "If I'd known you were coming, I'd have gone with you," he said, flipping his hair out of his eyes. Next to them, Zach slowed in front of Tommy, eyes steady and a touch relieved.
"Hey," he murmured with a smile. "Didn't expect to see you out here."------------------------------------------------------------------------

[ xDawnie always!] Kurt laughed in delight as Cinna's jacket changed, instantly distracted as Adam came into view. A familiar tide of relief washed over him and he felt some of the tension drop from his shoulders. "It was an impromptu visit. Callier felt the need to stretch her legs." He leaned into Adam's solid form, reaching out to twist their fingers together before he turned his attention back to Cinna, tugging on one fold of his coat. "It constantly amazes me what you can do with fabrics." He smiled at his friend, still aware of Tommy. From the corner of his eye he watched Zach approach, the diminutive bassists smile softening as he looked up at him. "Yeah, Kurt convinced me the outdoors were worth seeing once in a lifetime." Kurt smiled to himself, ducking his head.
